I love that in the drawfee cinematic universe we have two Garfield timelines, in one of which Garfield accidentally kills Jon and falls into a depression, and another where Jon watches Garfield die and falls into a depression. Beautiful symmetry

I honestly didn’t realize at first that julia and karina introducing themselves as lasagna was a reference to Garfield. I just didn’t even question that they introduced themselves as lasagna even for a second.
They were so sure of themselves I just rolled with it. "Ok, I guess they're lasagna today, nothing new in the drawfee-verse here" 🤣
When they said "what if we just pivot to accounting" I really didn't expect them to make good on that threat immediately and stick with it for several minutes.
I can't believe they joked about switching to accounting and then went straight into a huge lasagna price calculation rant.

I dont know why I absolutely lost it at the "2 lasagnas a day plus a cheat day" comment. For some reason the idea of a cheat day where you eat more than 2 lasagnas a day had me rolling.

The real crime about the amount of lasagna that Garf eats is that they’re pretty time consuming to make. The hours John has sunk into this endeavor is truly heinous.

The Reddit post assumes Garfield only eats lasagna, so it’s not accurate at all. But yeah, he’d still be making one lasagna a week at least.
Fun fact for Julia; originally Garfield had cat paw feet, but having him stand up looked dumb. Then he met or corresponded with Charles Schultz ( _Peanuts_ comic) who told him to give Garfield people-like feet. Bam, goofy huge Garfield feet.

its crazy that jacob made a whole video consisting of him just talking to 2 lasagnes while drawing

There's going to be a "Heathcliff without Heathcliff" episode where, inexplicably, Garfield is in every single comic.
The Garfield feet was inspired by Charles Schultz because Jim Davis was trying to figure out how to make Garfield not look goofy when he's standing up, and Schultz suggested bigger feet instead of tiny cat feet.
I want the tiny cat feet, though. 😆
Suggestion: Mash up two characters with the same name, e.g. Napoleon (Animal Farm) X Napoleon (Napoleon Dynamite), Hades (Hades) X Hades (Hercules).
Or some old school-style knockoffs. Would love to see some of those again some day, shared canvas and all.

The intro is morbidly accurate to the lore of this episode. If we take Jacob as Jon then he is sitting all alone in that room in a state of insanity and utter delirium. Just him talking to the usual two lasagnas he'd prepared that day. They've slowly congealed into indistinguishable blobs of cheese, pasta and tomato that only one cat would still enjoy. But alas, this time Garfield's not here to eat them.
And he never will be again.
Julia's comic legit seems like something that would happen in a dream. I know that if I was 75% less conscious I would accept Odie telling me I'm a failure as reality

Garfield's big feet were a suggestion from Charles Schultz creator of Peanuts. Apparently Jim Davis was having a terrible time making Garfield look right while standing up right on little cat feet. When he raised the question to Charles Schultz, Schultz doodled giant plantigrade feet* on Garfield. It made Garfield look right standing up so Jim kept it.
*Schultz did the same thing to Snoopy. You may notice that Snoopy also has ridiculously large plantigrade feet.
I've got an idea for an episode. "Artists finish each other's drawings." So you go back in time and get an early, unfinished drawing from another person and then go through and finish it, possibly with a twist on the original prompt.
Before Karina’s drawing I really was like “why?” When seeing the render.
With one full lasagna being roughly 4128 Calories, 77000 lasagnas amounts to around 317,856,000 Calories, or roughly the same as sixteen grams of uranium or 3,027,200 bananas (for scale). Fun Fact: 1 Calorie (or 1 kilocalorie) is equivalent to one gram of TNT in terms of energy.
Weirdly, the TNT/kcal correlation is a largely arbitrary one. The calorie is a terrible unit which never had a single specific value, so they just redefined it as the TNT standard when they dropped calories with joules.

So I'm really glad i came back to this episode specifically, i love garfield minus garfield and laughed so much during this episode. It feels so comforting coming back to drawfee!! Thank you guys
Drawing suggestion: draw each other into an isekai. Example- Nathan is king of dinosaurs in a prehistoric world; Karina uses a Digimon deck in a YuGiOh-esque dimension; Julia is a Drawtective in an isekai full of vampires; and Jacob is the leader of a bunch of little guys rebelling against hot villains.
