I sincerely appreciate value instructors, whether online, in a recorded or live workshop or an in person class when the instructor actually has a struggle or makes a mistake and actually works it through with you. Because people online show edited videos and they finished and product that’s perfect. And a lot of people see that and feel like they can’t do it where they never got to appreciate or understand that the instructor had struggles along the way made a mistake had to fix it, and I think those times are the most valuable things that beginners can learn.
I had just switched from acrylic painting to watercolour in 2012 when I discovered Angela Fehr on TH-cam. Ever since, I have followed her and taken some of her amazing courses and also a wonderful workshop I organized in Montreal on 2019.

She's so great!
I so agree with the GoodGirl comment at 71 I still have to push against it🤗🤣
It's so hard!
I like the comment that painting is relational. A give and take.
