Honestly I'm shocked because usually it's the older generation who can't be reasoned with and you can't really get mad because that's just how they were raised. When it comes to being open-minded it's not easy but you know the saying you can't teach an old dog new tricks there's a reason for that. When you're set in your ways sometimes it's more of a hassle to force them to do something out of their comfort zone once they're so used to it. He really does have to push his lack of knowledge whether or not he likes it just push all of that to one side because he loves her otherwise this wouldn't work and that's what's going on with her sister I'm guessing it just doesn't work she's so determined to not see it happen that she prefer it'd be another way regardless of her happiness. I will say this how is she going to stop this from happening? Even if they decided to not do wedding there's nothing stopping her from going to the courthouse and getting it legal anyway so what's the point

At the end, Samantha's grandfather looked like he finally understood the meaning of life itself. That was absolutely beautiful.
Her "sister", however, needs to understand that people just are who they are. You cannot change them into who you want them to be. She didn't "have to get up and walk out of there". She was never seated to begin with. She simply came to get some extra time on camera. Even her grandfather didn't defend the "sister". He simply stayed and supported Samantha.
