A great deck profile once again! Pendulum magicians may not be able to keep up with the top decks nowadays, but are a great way to introduce players to yet another interesting play style. Hopefully we receive Electrumite or Astrograph back on the next banlist to make the deck a bit more competitive. Keep up the great work and quality content!
Thank you for your continued feedback and support! I agree, pendulum magician is a fun deck to play for those looking for a change in play style or want to learn about the pendulum summoning mechanic!
Thank you for the comment! We believe the Endymion version of the deck is likely the more competitive of the two, with the capability of ending on a board of seven or more negates in a turn. Dark ruler no more and forbidden droplet are both cards which keep the decks in check overall. Though, Pendulum Magician certainly has the capability to combo off fairly easily and is the more “fun” deck to play, in our opinion!
Thank you for the comment! We certainly enjoy playing this deck and its many variations. Definitely be on the lookout for an Odd-Eyes related deck in the coming months!
I don't agree that the deck can't keep up with the meta. It have a fair bit of good needlefiber combos, but is no where near as easy to play at top form.
Thank you for the comment! The current top decks such as Drytron and Virtual World can make it difficult for this deck to play as it is very special summon reliant. Vanity's Ruler and True King of All Calamities can be hard for the deck to combat against going second, though going first is where the deck definitely shines! If you have any recommendations for changes to the deck we always appreciate receiving feedback!
It cannot in any way keep up, this coming from someone who tried every possible way to do so. Pendulum as a mechanic is flawed where modern decks spit out as many summons as Pend Mag but without needing to -2 scales to do so. Also you need so many engine cards for it to work that you barely have any space for hand traps whereas modern decks of this day and age have 10-15 card engines for monsters giving them room for many hand traps. Electrumite is very broken card design but is the only card that can let the Pendulum mechanic as a whole keep up with the modern game resource wise.
Thank you for watching and the comment! For this deck, your best bet is to attempt to make Apollousa as soon as possible to protect your plays thereafter and provide the necessary arrows for a pendulum summon. Often with the right hand, you can Pendulum Call Darkwurm, SS Darkwurm, normal summon a tuner like Harmonizing Magician, SS Halqifibrax then SS Tuning Magician, Link into Selene, SS tuning back using Selene's effect, and finally Link for Apollousa. This is of course prone to interruption from Ash, Belle and Nibiru. An option to protect your plays would be to use a card like Traptrix Rafflesia and Gravedigger's Trap Hole since a majority of your magicians are level four! The deck plays a large amount of draw cards, so you are not as bothered by the Ash Blossom, though Droll can hinder your plays significantly. Thank you again for your comment!
Thank you for the comment! We currently play one purple poison as it can serve as an out to problematic cards in certain situations, but is does not help further facilitate your plays on its own as Harmonizing Magician is able to do!

Hows this compare to the spellbook mythical endymion deck? Better? Worse? Same?
