I really hope they bring it back online at some point. I have put over 150 hours in this games multiplayer and I absolutely loved all of the time I spent on it. To think that I may raced in my final start of my online career makes me a bit sad.
The way they just flipped the switch on the servers without any announcement on their website is saddening. I don’t see it coming back up. I believe this was a design of the licensing agreement with Iracing and nascar to maximize sales of nascar 25.
It's not just heat 5, ignition 2021 is down as well
I thought they said the servers would be supported until like the end of this year

They are not closed forever they are most likely getting new and better sirvers so it’s not so laggy
There have been many hacks on servers for many applications. Maybe this could be the problem.
I used to play heat but after heat 4 I went to iracing n I can say if u can switch over it’s definitely worth every penny but console is fun to just jump in n do some quick racing w buddies😊

I hope it will be back. I mean they have battlefield and all these other 10-year-old games that are out and their servers are still up, so it would be pretty pathetic if they close this game down for good and, it hasn’t even been four years. This is the only thing we have right now so, As terrible as it might be our only options to play online nascar

Big nascar guy I only play heat 5. Got 750 games online. Not going to buy the next one since they wanna fuck the fans.
704 games sold the rights to racing so the next game will be made by iracing
They will not be closed forever they are upgrading there sirvers so it helps the lag and yes we can hear that jet engine ps4haha just playing they are expensive
Where did you hear about server upgrades? I haven’t seen any announcements from them at all
There is no Server upgrade. I’m sure the licensing agreement with Iracing and nascar included a shut down of these servers to enhance sales on Nascar 25. Also it’s a push for PS4 owners to buy a PS5 to play any nascar game on console. Motorsports games has moved on from Heat 5 and will allocate its remaining servers for the newest game they are working on. Goodbye Heat 5 😢
