I’ve been following Anna from the beginning and this was a long time coming. So proud of both you ladies hard work and persistence. I’m an ex nail biter and It took getting acrylic extensions to get over it too. That’s why I feel Anna is so relatable.

I am so happy for Anna. I spent 30 yrs biting my nails. Everytime I attempted to find a tech to guide me through the process they sent me away. I got aggravating that people who saw my bitten nails always made comment that you should stop. Its not that easy. Especially being a male. I had to let my ego go. So I met this wonderful tech who we are on our second month and she has started me with tips and blended it with a natural color and gel. I think lol. Due to the gloss I get looks and one of my clients called me diva. I brushed it off because he didnt understand the struggle. I simply just wanted to stop the habit and be normal for a once in my life. Go Anna! Im with you sister.

This is awesome. My nails looked just like that. I stopped biting them about 2 years ago and they are so healthy now. They grow so fast. Watching nail tutorials made me stop biting them as I was not able to even paint them.

@@wioi nope, she clearly stated that WATCHING nail tutorials prompted her to not bite her nails as she wasn't able to paint them herself.
I chewed my nails like that when I was young. As soon as I moved out of home my nails grew long and healthy. I later found out I grew up in a very stressful environment and I had anxiety. Now I'm away from the stress my hands and skin are very pretty.

None of the salons near by offers gel overlay which it sucks if you naturally have long nails or don’t like acrylic and want to keep your own nails. I just started learning how to do my own extensions my next goal is to learn how to do gel overlay. Thanks to your videos I’m learning how to do my nails properly.

Why is that though? I’ve had same nails and the technician would always do acrylics on me. That’s how it stopped biting my nails.

I also have onycophagy and let me tell y’all… we WISH we could stop biting our nails but we just can’t 😭 it’s definitely a mental thing because in my 36 years of life, I’ve never been able to let my nails grow even if they paid me! I see the slightest bit of nail and my brain just tells me to bite it off. It has been a battle because i always feel so defeated that my habit got the best of me. Thank you for not being judgmental 🤍

This is amazing progress! Some habits are easier and other are harder to ditch. I was a nail biter till 7th grade. When I saw how pretty all the other girls' long nails were, I was determined to stop. Those first 2 weeks were soooo hard. But after that, my nails were long enough to cut off and after that first snipping, I never EVER wanted to bite them anymore. Mind you, there was no anti-biting product in the world that could stop me.
I had nails like Anna, the only thing that worked for me was also getting acrylic nails, I had them on for 4 weeks and after that I just stopped biting my nails. But I still give myself very bad skin around my nails like Anna, I can't stop picking at it.
