Thank you for adding humor and making people feel that they can cook the dish and don’t have to be so serious about everything. You remind me a little of Alton Brown’s TV show “good eats”.
Best cooking show on TH-cam! Hands down! Really stoked y’all’ve started being a little more reckless and throwing more stuff for the new year but Marcus needs to slow it down on those kitchen island laps. Glad to see the fridge back!🎉
i appreciate you letting your character shine through and seeing more Marcus appearances over time. It definitely humanizes your content and there's so much generic food media out there. Keep up the great work, friends! Definitely wanna try making some of these dishes asap.
Thanks for the “enamel doesn’t seer”! You described an experience I’ve had so many times. Man, I thought it was me! Great to avoid that in the future! Such a great video today! Thanks Sonny! DELICIOUS!
i watch all my videos at 1.5 speed and you were a monster chopping those mushrooms, you guys are great, i eat carnivore/keto so i just adjust recipes where needed with keto products but get the basics from you,, keep up the good work
Forget all the cooking shows, I actually learn something here. Love the entertainment as well. Been a sub for a very long time, but my first time commenting. Thank you!
Shin beef used to be the "if you know, you know" economy cut of beef for long slow cooking. It was dirt cheap because it was tough and fatty if it wasn't cooked for at least 4 hours. Cooked right the connective tissue will melt into a delicious glossy sauce with more delicious beef flavour than any other cut. Unfortunately, too many TV chefs have let the cat out of the bag and now shin costs at least as much as any other stewing/braising steak but it's still worth the money because of how much flavour is in there. Good to see it get an honourable mention on the pot roast recipe
I remember when I made #3 the roast..which was my first ever roast for the family, I felt so proud pulling it off and have been praising the channel to friends and family since 😂 Thank you, always going to be my go to channel for good cooking and now you're doing healthy foods too? Just when I need to trim some fat...awesome. 😅
I have made every one of these before. But the next time I cooked them I followed your recipe, there was another dimension added by using yours. Thanks for sharing.
This is the fastest I've ever gotten to your content (posted 4 minutes ago)! Love your content - really learned a lot and hope you keep doing this for as long as possible.
THANK YOU for saying that about dutch ovens! I always thought i was screwing something up by darkening my pot. They really are cooking's temperamental A-holes.
Note to self: must stop watching your videos after I've eaten because I get instantly hungry again ;) This is a superb winteer trio, thank you! Oh, and bonus points for "F*** Celery" :)
Beef Stroganoff is even better with sour cream instead of cream. Also, deglazing the pan in Ragu recipe is why I came down to comment but he did it while I was typing!
Meals look great! The meats are very expensive in the first 2 so would have to be a special occasion, like the rosemary salt. But I have made the salt and it is great!
Mushroom chopping - I have a bone to pick with you on this - if you had put them all side by side, you would have accomplished this task in under 17 seconds. But nooooo, YOU had to put them apart to cover the width of that cutting board/table! Ay, yay yay!. Have a great '25 Dude!
Speaking of braised beef comfort foods, I'm pretty sure you mentioned doing a video for Hungarian Goulash during the American Goulash video. If a recipe involves braised beef I'm looking for your recipe.
He falls & gets the crack in one of the videos. I think Sonny was flipping him or something like that. Can't remember exactly, but I think it was about a year ago.
Hey guys, do you wash your hands inbetween seasoning both sides of a meat, or is it ok to just grab a pinch of salt from your seasoning jar without washing your hands after handling raw meat?
I know that my question is going to trigger a bunch of people, but here goes. Has anyone figured out the amounts to use of DRIED ingredients: rosemary, sage, garlic powder, lemon? Yeah, I know, I'm a cretin but I already have these things in my cabinet.
We appreciate everyone!
Make the beef stroganoff healthy version!!!!!
Got your book... EXCELLENT! You need a SGT GILBERT Tee-Shirt on your site! :) Happy New Year!
Happy New Year gents. Thanks for all the great recipes and entertainment so far.
I really enjoy your videos. But gestures that you do above the food are... I'm ready to poke my eyes out.
Thank you for adding humor and making people feel that they can cook the dish and don’t have to be so serious about everything. You remind me a little of Alton Brown’s TV show “good eats”.
Thanks for watching and allowing me to make a living by sharing my love for cooking with the world. cheers!
Loving the added touches of editing and the splash of humor, thanks guys! 😆

Apparently you missed that That Dude blew UP the reefer (twice). Sad to say, but twue. 😥
Without a doubt. Fun, easy to follow. I've made a ton of shit from this guy.

No wonder your beef stroganoff is so good! All of that butter. Oil, cream, sour cream. I do agree your spice etc seasonings made a great flavour bomb.
Thank you Chef!! We can tell you love what you do!

I made your beef ragù last year. It was pure magic. I want to try the beef stew next. But with mashed potatoes. ❤️❤️❤️ thank you.
Going to try the stroganoff. I tend to add a bunch of cream and this recipe looks sooo good, so definitely looking forward to something different
Beef stroganoff is hands down my favorite comfort food!!! Sgt. Gilbert’s voice was a tad creepy lol. Thank you for another wonderful video!
Riding the fridge like a rocket was genius!
Celery. I love the smell of sauteing celery. Sauted onions are good. Sure. But... celery. Yeah.

Speaking of braised beef comfort foods, I'm pretty sure you mentioned doing a video for Hungarian Goulash during the American Goulash video. If a recipe involves braised beef I'm looking for your recipe.
Delicious! For the beef stroganoff, is there a substitution for the mushrooms? Thank you! ❤
I know ! You taught me :)
the fridge lore continues to expand
I am now hungry.

Flank steak! Ricki Lake!
What countertop burner do you use? Thanks Sonny
bring back food from each state !
12:42 IT IS!!!!
for ragu, can you cook it in oven with cracked lid...like your pot roast recipe? I imagine so, but wondering
I noticed a crack in Sgt Gilbert. An old battle scar from the war?
He falls & gets the crack in one of the videos. I think Sonny was flipping him or something like that. Can't remember exactly, but I think it was about a year ago.
"Make it!"
- Marcus
OMG youknow of mighty Marmite? I can eat it by the spoonful !
Sgt Gilbert need to be a full time sidekick like Marquise.
Oblique roll 90° rather than 180°. 😊 /cheers🍻
As I should say, LETS COOK" ......
Can you please make lamb/goat ragu? I don’t eat beef… 🙏🏼
What's the difference between tube or can tomato paste? Is one better than the other?
Came for the ragù, stayed for the exploding fridges.
I wish we had tomato paste in a tube where im from. All we have is cans and alot of time we end up wasting most of the can
Mushroom chop any% no major glitches
17seconds to slice 75% of each mushroom. still faster than me
the drive by sniff took me out
IYKYK
Well if Sergeant Gilbert is sentient then technically he's taken a dump all over your food :) shout out to Sergeant Gilby
The wisk 😂😂😂
Hey guys, do you wash your hands inbetween seasoning both sides of a meat, or is it ok to just grab a pinch of salt from your seasoning jar without washing your hands after handling raw meat?

I know that my question is going to trigger a bunch of people, but here goes. Has anyone figured out the amounts to use of DRIED ingredients: rosemary, sage, garlic powder, lemon? Yeah, I know, I'm a cretin but I already have these things in my cabinet.
nice jacket
Why did you add water part way through and not broth ? Wouldn’t broth incorporate more flavour?
you got my attention lol
"It's like your standard M-16 of slow-cooking meat". Nice.

I have a feeling someone has been watching canned fish videos on youtube lol
Ok now make Mongolian beef stroganoff
