Am using the model 17ARH5 ryzen6800,rtx3050. Works like a beast. Swapped out the original ram and ssd. Installed crucial ddr5 16gbx2 and samsung 990pro.
This issue is because you bought it from online. Amazon and Flipkart occasionally sell old stocks at low price (first in first out method). so in my opinion it is better to buy from offline
3 years and running fine. you have to take care of it, cleaning the fans every 6 months or whenever you feel your temperature is above than normal, replace thermal paste every 2 years if you do gaming and most importantly always use a laptop stand. dont put the laptop flat on ground surface.

0% brightness is just black. It doesnt matter what moniter you use if you just turned the brightness off it will be black. 100% seems just fine on mine.

So the problem is, there a sticker that not properly placed in the fan that cause the sound. So if you have same problem just go to service center, its free btw.

You have probably something stuck in your fans, that's why its doing that noise and if there is something in your fans then they don't gonna spin well, the pc gonna become HOT and the system will crash, that need to be clean or at least use some pressure air in the fans to clean whatever its there getting the fans stuck.

Bro isn't used with a blanket beneath the laptop because its air intake vents are below it. It becomes unable for the laptop to take air inside. Thats why it is making this noise coz u are using it with a blanket

I bought a secondhand 15arh05 on april 2024 (R5 4600H, gtx 1650, 8gb ram, 2021 model). Performance still great up until now. I used to play ff7 remake and light gaming on it. I can barely hear the fan noise with 20% speaker volume 😅. Then I just realized that I haven't do some cleaning on internal fan and change its thermal paste. And it works flawlessly. Planning to add another 8gb ram sticks to maximize its performance. I also compare the fan noise with my friends laptop msi gf63 thin (gtx1650 max q, intel i5 10 gen). Then with asus fx505 (gtx1660 ti, ryzen). I was quite shocked the msi has loudest noise, but mine with the asus is on par. That's just my experience here ✌️

This laptop is amazing. The issue is that the processor govenor is unlocked and tries to run at full speed 24/7. All you have to do is add a registry entry to have it not do this. I have the file saved and all you have to do is double click it and it will automatically fix it. U dont even have to restart the pc afterwards

The laptop should be placed on solid surfaces not any type of cushion or cloth.
You are putting your laptop on cloth surfaces which restricts airflow

How to fix this problem (maybe) open lenovo vantage, and do a speed of ventilation, turn it to 3450/3950 and all will be OK but, your ventilation can be dirty, maybe, but with this problem, i was so shocked, Alright, if this didn't help, you need give this laptop to a new upgrade, like new coolers.
