I 100% agree on your #1 Latu ... The Tape & Production doesn't lie!
As long his medicals clear, I think he is by far the most polished and productive!
Latu is my #1 Edge, but remember...his neck was bad enough that he actually retired from football at one point. So those medicals are going to be everything. If the medicals check out, he looks like the real deal!

So Latu, Turner, Verse and Chop and then IMO it drops off a cliff without JTT declaring. If teams need an edge, they better get one of those 4

I’m a ravens fan and I really like Darius Robinson for our round 2 pick
I only watched two games for FSU, the Florida and Louisville games without QB Jordan Travis (injured). FSU had virtually no QB (started a true 18 yr old freshman in one), but their defense played really well to win both games. Jared Verse in those two games, fully looked the part of a good NFL DE who is going to play 12 years in the league and that you're happy to have.
He can win multiple ways and in some ways, reminds me of Montez Sweat. Sweat, until this year, never was a double digit sack guy, but was really good against the run and a 7-9 sack guy. That's kind of how I see Verse. Might not be a top of the draft DE, but a guy you're always happy to have on your team.
I completely agree he will be a stout run defender and give you some decent sack production, someone every single team in the NFL would want to have but maybe not someone that would be considered an elite edge rusher by most

I agree on Latu, his medicals are a big concern. I think Verse is the most complete Edge & Dallas is the most electric. Fit matters, Robinson with his versatility to move inside will go a lot higher, probably the 4th Edge off the board. Javon Solomon is a hidden gem & will be an absolute steal.
Verse is my favorite too.
Austin Booker is top 10 for me, probably even top 6-7. Reminds me of Max Crosby and I think he has a decent floor and high ceiling.

Just fyi, if you are looking for Dallas Turner in Madden, they have him listed as ROLB.
Do you consider Brandon Dorlus an Edge rusher? If so, where do you rate him? I like him in Round 2. He’s so disruptive and versatile
He’ll be in the interior DL video, haven’t watched him quite yet beyond a few broadcast games but I’ve liked what I see
I think this is exactly the type player that the Bears are looking for, a hybrid but built like a defensive end… And if he runs a 4.65/40 I wouldn’t be surprised.. Might be tempting for the Bears to take defense first especially if they plan on trading down which I think is exactly what will happen, the virtual trade down and get a couple drafts and then hopefully that’ll be a top eight but we’ll see. You get Darius Robinson at seven then you can maybe draft a receiver like Xavier or the other two guys whoever is available still Malik or Rome.. I’m guessing one should still be there
Chop Robinson to the 9ers at #31 with that Defense .. TROUBLE!

I'd be happy with the Bears drafting MHJ and Verse. Verse would compliment Montez Sweat perfectly... imo
I think they go QB but if they decide to build out the roster instead yeah I don’t think they could do too much better than MHJ and their favorite edge rusher, any of those top 3 guys would be solid picks in my opinion

Would love for the Bears to take Verse or Latu at 9 to put opposite Sweat, but would hope they could trade back a few spots, probably not realistic to trade down as 3 or even 4 QBs could be gone by 8.
Yeah I agree I think they should add another pass rusher if the WRs are dried up a bit. Any of those top 3 guys would be good for them
Halfway through the video, I’m starting to notice a pattern on players that you like regardless of their PFF grade 🤔
PFF grades can absolutely be helpful and some of their stats are very valuable but the film is much more important to get the true understanding of a players performances

Danielle Hunter had the same surgery that Latu had and he has -played two years after that injury so it is might not impact his career.

Based solely on your analysis here, the “red flags” at minimum would push latu to 3, verse 2, turner 1….

Dallas Turner is the clear-cut #1. His speed and athleticism alone is unmatched and separates him from everyone else 💯
People said that about Will Anderson last year and now that a year has passed, even with Carters 2nd half of the year decline...id still draft Jalen Carter before Anderson if I needed d-line staples to not only build off of but needing a guy to be that big difference maker, thats Carter. Period. Everyday. And 2 times on Sunday.

@@user-ip8wu1ph2c doesn't change the fact that JC had the better showing imo. He and the rest of that team fell apart but the first half of the season, Carter was the clear front runner for DROTY. Is what it is. Jalen outplayed Mahomes in the superbowl too but losing QBs usually don't win superbowl MVP. Be wild if they did though lol heres your Lombardi but bring that MVP over here so we can congratulate him on being the best player on the field, just on the wrong team!
@@ohthatguy8595Will Anderson was way more impactful on his team than Carter. He also won DROY. Dude balled out and showed he was well worth the trade up and pick. Carter is very good but Anderson just had the better season.. plus Anderson plays a more premier position.

The best edge in this draft is Mohamad Kamara.....later round gem who will become an All Pro......check him out....
I have watched him, I like him, he’s got good athleticism and bend, I had him at EDGE 11 as of now

@@ultimatescouting I've heard several analysts mention it. He is a Haason Reddick clone, same height and size. He also played LB like Haason did and excelled at it. Remember, despite his "limited height", Haason went #13 in R1.
