Its good that you showed to seeif the fill plug came loose first.I have seen a couple of my friends drain the rear end and then could not get the fill plug out and had to get towed to a shop 😊
volvosweden Awesome, looking forward to it. I've recently replaced my fog light lenses - that was not fun - I'm sure a video would have helped and I KNOW I did it the wrong way :)
Do you have any idea where the drain and fill is for the front axle is? I have been trying to find info online and can't find any data for 2007 suzuki sx4 hatchback awd manual. I watched your video on the rear..was really easy. Now I want to do the front.
What size s the square socket volvo? I tried an 8 mm but plug is rusty and didnt wanna try as felt too loose. Obv must be 9 or 10mm , i cant find replacement plugs also.
Hi don't know if I will get a response now but are you just using a 1/2 socket without anything on it to loosen and tighten it? or is there a special socket and size to do that?
If this oil is not changed what are some problems the car would give? I have a 2012 model its making a wooing sound, something like what a bad wheel bearing would give. Could this be the cause of that sound?
I did mine at 28,000 km and now again at 60,000. I can't get the fill plug off I even started using a impact driver and it's just messing the plug up. Any tips? Also do you use anything on the plug like gasket maker when you replace?
volvosweden, I ended up raising the car as high as possible so I could get a breaker bar in there and added some heat that worked well. The front case was easy. Thanks
Todo esta bien hasta que va llenar con el aceite nuevo. Debió usar una bomba de vacío manual. Para que entre lo necesario hasta que revalse, al no tener varilla de medición debe revalsar
For anyone who owns an sx4 you are providing anyone who is mechanically inclined with a world of knowledge on how to save on labor. Great job!
+john Thx! Just replaced power steering pump yesterday. Will do a video.
@@volvosweden would it be the same on the swift? I would think so.

Just finished watching (then doing) your power steering flush video. Now I'm tackling this project. Thanks for all the help!
Glad it helps.

I don't know how long it will last.
Love your SX4 videos. I have a white 2007 AWD and it's starting to show its age. I think your videos will be very useful to me.
Glad it helps. I will be doing soon thermostat and coolant change. And some of the radio light are out.

This was done long time ago. Don’t remember
@@volvosweden Doh! It looked like it.
The oil was still good, I think it didn't required change.
Nice Video. Do you use mineral or synthetic oil? thanks
Is dif quiter now? Because I have a noise coming from a back and I doubt it is a bearing?
No difference in noise.
If this oil is not changed what are some problems the car would give? I have a 2012 model its making a wooing sound, something like what a bad wheel bearing would give. Could this be the cause of that sound?
I know 3 months out, but I had the same noise and replaced the rear wheel bearings. The sound is completely gone. Good Luck!
how to check and change the front differential fluid?

Should be able to undo by hand wrench. No impact. No gasket on mine

3/8 ratchet I think it was
Зачем 2 банки, там объём 0.8l?
In my local service they said that my rear diff needs 5 L of 80w90 oil ? Is that possible since you used only 2 ? Its 2008 SX4 1.9 DDiS 4x4
Muito obrigado pela dica Parabéns pelo vídeo
nothing. I got one, 2007 model, 1.6 VVT AWD, and no problems with it
