First, thank you for taking the time to post this beautiful sweater I can’t wait to try it!! For those having trouble with sizing or chain count, if you have a shirt or sweater that you like the way it fits, use that as your guide. For your foundation chain, chain as many as it takes to match the size of the shirt or sweater that you already have, then add/subtract chains to make it a multiple of 3. Add the 7 additional chains to this number. Make sure you write down the number that worked in case you forget for the other panel! When completing rows, again use the shirt/sweater that you already have as a guide and keep track of the final row count for the other panel. If you’re making this for someone else, see if they can give you the length and width of a sweater or shirt that they like the fit of and chain until you get that length, adjusting so it is a multiple of 3 (then add the 7 chains). Hope this makes sense and hope this helps!

soclose2her wow! Thanks so much for posting this, It’s an excellent guide and, like most brilliant advice, once someone points it out to me, makes me think, “why didn’t I think of that?” Duh! 🙄 I’ll definitely make good use of it, thanks again.

Im in love with this sweater and just wonder if you can share any tips for what stitch or how you sewed the sides and top so seamlessly? Did you use a slip stitch maybe or mattress stitch? I ask bc i made another cardigan by another channel and found the stitch i used to attach the hood wasn't strong enough. Do you show us how to sew the sides, etc maybe in another of your videos? If so cld you please direct me to another video? Thank you so much and plz ignore the numerous times people made same comment over and over abt the background. *I instead wld like to complement you on how clear you are with your instructions as you are one of my favorite crochet channels*

@@Lenysea But if you're making it as a surprise gift you can't exactly measure that person. Especially if they live far away. By your suggestion that would mean going to the store and measuring the corresponding size. That's not easy peasy. Everyone is not a size small, so please consider standard body sizes in the future. Thank you

Lenysea this May sound stupid but wide as in hip to hip ? I’m so glad u responded quickly I put the yarn away and I got the exact colour and it’s pound of love 😊if it’s measured hip to hip shouldn’t be a problem but that’s only one side I have to make two sides right?
