@@SailorOutlawGeorgeIshaq Those people are what made me NOT want to be a police officer, when i was like.. 8 or so, i really wanted to be an officer, as i got older though i thought "nah, they sound horrible" because of everything i heard about them, and now being 16, i want to be an officer again. i'm gonna be sent to a police explorer program, where i get to learn the ropes of being an officer, which will lead to an academy, and then (hopefully) i can become one. i'll be able to live my dream finally, and i'm glad i decided not to listen to people saying "officers are bad" and actually become what i've wanted to ever since i was a tiny gremlin.
I went to the USA three times for a five week holiday each time with my husband. One time we were driving down a lonely road through the woods in Oregon and yes, my husband was speeding a little bit at this moment...Out of nowhere there was a police car behind us with lights and sirens and ordered us to pull over. Of course we did and instead of being frightend I was really excited to experience this because it felt as it was out of a movie 😅 The officer, although having his right hand at his waist at his weapon was really nice and just told my husband to slow down a little bit without getting us a ticket. The best part is, that the officer agreed to take a photo with us afterwards for our holiday portfolio 😁
So, there are nice police officers out there and I really appreciate their work.

Police rest their hands on their gun belts/their guns all the time so no worries! Glad you had a good experience in the USA!

I like the last one with the little piggy lol. My dad brought home a pot belly pig once while on patrol and someone had called 911 at night about a pig being in the middle of a busy 4 lane road and he was the closest one to the call. Long story short him and a few of his Officers were able to catch it and he put him in the backseat of his patrol car cage and decided to take it home because we lived in the country with 8 acres of property and two horses and 3 dogs and 3 house cats and he’d be super happy living in the country lol. We had “Wilbur” the potbelly pig for maybe 6 years and he was spoiled as shit by my dad lol. My dad would make the joke about “Yeah yeah a pig with a pet pig laugh it up” to people lol. In 35+ years of being a Police Officer he had a small problem with bringing home animals lol. He brought home a few kittens and cats and a few dogs and a goat one time lol.

Usually, police make me cry, not laugh & add to my ptsd & anxiety. I get spooked by those red & blue lights, even after seeing they've pulled someone else over, and knowing I've done nothing wrong...
Once, years ago, I stopped to buy gas in a town near where I lived, and while I was standing at the pump I observed a slow speed chase on the highway: two patrol cars attempting to bring in a huge potbelly pig that went rogue. I had the perfect observation point to watch it toddle down the highway for at least a mile, with people pulling to the side because they saw the flashing blue lights.
The first clip, my cat has done similar things, just wants to be underfoot and causes me to go sprawling.
I honestly feel bad for the officer in the first clip that looked like it hurt lol
