i LOVE my dyson air wrap.. it has a learning curve but once you get the hang of it.. i used it twice and now can do my hair in half the time i use to. again I LOVE IT
people are freaking out about the price but it's totally normal to buy a $1000 iPhone 😂🤦♀️ i think it's cool, it's the first hair tool i saw that actually dried and styled the hair, unlike those hairdryer brushes that don't do anything. i would consider investing in it, i like how the waves turned out and the brush dried part looked good too. unfortunately it's not available in my country (yet?) but it looks like a tool that would last you years.
It seems like a cool product but it's WAY too expensive! $499 for the BASIC package and $600+ for all the pieces you need is WAY too expensive for me to even consider. I think this tool, at this price, is aimed for salons. But if Dyson ever comes out of the clouds and wants to price it for the average consumer then I'd like to give it a whirl. Thanks for the info. 😊✌👍
I can't even imagine using this at the salon.... entirely to time consuming.. I can blow dry and curl one head in 15-20 minutes. And those "curls" dont look like they'd last a full 4 hours.
I've got one - it's AMAZING! My hair is fine and irons/straighteners make it so flat, this makes is super bouncy and shiny and no, I'm not being paid by Dyson! Also much less damage on my lightened hair!
@@dorianmeyette8560 Sad, but I agree.. their target is people who has that money to pay for it. Why would they settle for less (if they know they can set that high price).. and also the less people has it (only rich people), the more people will want it. It is kind of a paradox.
It is pretty freaking cool that it just sucks your hair right to the barrel, but whoa....500! Yikes. They need to bring that price way down & then I think these would FLY off the shelves. I'd buy one.
It looks like it's flying out the shelves now, at least the Complete Set (which ironically is the most expensive set). The Complete Set is sold out at Sephora and QVC. I was able to get mine last night at the Dyson site but this morning it's also sold out when my friend tried to get it.
I don't think most people do have that much disposable income, I think it speaks more to the massive amount of debt most Americans carry. No thanks, Dyson; looks like an interesting tool that will collect dust just like the less expensive options.
$549 hun... Cray ray.... However, I'd be friggin excited to if I was given this and also getting kick backs for subs purchases... Not be a hater or jealous, simply my initial thoughts, no filter, lol...
I totally agree!! I'd be just as excited as her if i was given this product for FREE and was SPONSORED to use the item.. who could not be happy about it. Would any opinion be different if she had to fork out the money and didnt get paid to use and show it? might be a different story. Dyson or not.... its way to expensive.
I always find it funny when people are congratulated on the number of followers they have. ...like it is so important. Society is so media obsessed these days and it is not good. There are so many important things.
I dont have the Revlon but have the Dyson airwrap and you can for sure get a nice blow out using it. Just like with the curling barrels the air sucks your hair to the device so you get a better grip
It's actually a quality product with the money. Saves money and time once you get over the upfront costs. You are replacing the straighteners, the wands, there hair products tp protect hair from high heat, the damaged hair, volume spray and countless other things that you don't think of. Malibu, you did a great job. I'll be saving for this to soon be part of my daily routine! Dyson only produces great things!
Omg!! I'm so happy you hit 1 million subscribers!! I've been watching your videos since the very beginning, so it's amazing to see how much your channel has grown and improved!! Congratulations love!!💘
I’ve just bought this (it arrives tomorrow: yippee) after seeing your review (and others). I want to curl/beach wave my hair but I am utterly useless with my coordination in a mirror with standard curling implements. I’ve tried all sorts...I love my Dyson hairdryer and hope that this will help me. I have got a tyme iron, but the coordination and heat is not a good combo for my thick, but dry hair. I love the curl it gives but, coordination and wanting to protect my hair means it’s a no go. I may look like a poodle for a few days whilst I get to grips with it (but at least it won’t damage my hair too much)!
Thanks for doing this. I've been wanting to see this in action. Will you be doing a video demonstrating the other attachments? Can the hairdryer attachment replace my regular hairdryer?
This product sounds amazing. I was never taught how to curl or style my hair nicely. It was straight as long as a teen and now as a mom I just put it up. This product would literally change my approach to my hair. I get confused with a traditional curler or curling wand, but this would do the work for me. Now if only I had the money to spend on it. As a mom with one on the way, this product is too expensive. Perhaps someday it will be a bit cheaper and actually be affordable for most people.
Love at first sight! I need this on my vanity! Yes, it’s expensive, but Dyson does phenomenal products, that are worth the price- like my dyson v8 vacuum which was a game changer for me.
Hi, out of all the demonstrations I’ve seen on Dyson’s innovative new Airwrap, yours is the most helpful to me as my hair is about your length. However, I am finding that the curls are not holding as much as I would like. Could you recommend a product to help the curls hold please?
Dyson is first to market with this. It’s innovative and there is literally nothing like it. They are able to charge $500. When other companies catch on it will be knocked down trust me.. everything can and will be duplicated- just wait.
Loved the concept ever since revlon’s blow out brush and I’m so into there being a curling wand on the market. That being said, I’ll wait for the under $100 knock off thanks.
So I know that every ones biggest thing is the price. It’s expensive yes, but keep in mind Dyson’s products are so light weight making it super easy to manage your tools and get an even look across the board! Plus, there are several tools that are $300+ for just a hair dryer or curling rod. This product DOES IT ALL! This baby is on my dream list for sure! This is definitely salon quality but is definitely worth the purchase for every day use! I’m totally saving up for this sucker! I’m officially obsessed! 😩
It's really expensive and it is making your hair frizzy. :( I figure for that price that it would be the best thing on the market with perfectly smooth curls.
Golden Carter not sure it’s frizzy I think she just has a very fine soft hair type. Feel like if she put some product in there would be a difference. I think it looks beautiful and healthy
Thanks for your opinion. However, frizzy hair means hair lacking moisture, not the way the hair is styled resulting with the hair laying in a certain direction which is another case.
@@Milabuco - maybe that's the wrong term. When I say "frizzy" I'm meaning the way my hair does when it's super muggy or raining. My hair begins to poof up and stick out every whichaway. Hi! Quick question/comment; I love your hair color. My haircut is very similar but I have highlights. What do you ask for when you get your hair done? Thanks!
This is so awesome!! Can't wait to get one myself! This will definitely cut my get ready time in half and actually give me time to do more than dry and straighten. Congratulations on one million!!!
So I researched it, it has the coanda affect - fast air flow/ vortex of air all the way around the barrel, but there is still heat in the machine too right ? Just not as intense ? Cause they give you that one attachment to partially dry your hair as step one before you start to style
The second this product came out I immediately thought “I hope Milabu does a video soon!!” I trust your reviews more than others and always love your videos! 🙌🏼

I got the Dyson and I love it! The curls lasted really well into 5days!!. I only put hairspray when I was done with my whole hair. And didn’t reapply. It was the natural hold by Kenra. My hair felt nice and fluffy. I put dry shampoo on my roots on day 4. Day 6 my hair was still voluminous but no more curls. My hair still looked like it was blow dried professionally because the ends looked flipped out? Idk how to explain. And then I washed my hair lol. The first few curls that I did, did fall out kind of quick but that’s normal for me and will happen even when I do my hair with a curling iron. I’m mexican and have A LOT of hair and it’s thick and heavy. So it makes sense to me that some strands won’t hold up as well.
Looks like an amazing product. I recently purchased the Tyme curling/straightening iron that I havent tried yet and after seeing your review on it, I'm not sure I want to. This looks way better and you are so pretty!
Way too BIASED. This product is too bulky, expensive, and too many steps for a styler. Not to mention the hearing damage and the fact that this is only really for NON-textured hair.
Lindsay K not really. Go to Andreas choice on TH-cam. It dried and curled her hair perfectly. She also got it sent to her but her review was honestly half ass lol
Lindsay K much, much lighter and much more quiet than any hair dryer I have ever owned. And swear on. The Bible, took half the time to dry and curl than it normally does! Worth every penny!
That is amazing. I think that if you are into hair and have the money you would buy it. It's innovative, time saving, and so much less damaging for the hair. I blow dry and style my hair with a straightener and I know it is so damaging. This is such a healthier option. Good for you, having the chance to work with Dyson is awesome. The reaction you have is authentic. Please ignore all the haters. If they could they would do the exact same thing. I can't get over how rude some people are. I’m so glad you did this. As soon as it was released I was hoping you’d use it. I’d love to see you do a round brush blowout to compare to the Revlon one you use. Thank you!
Seems to be a pretty cool tool. I'm interested on how your hair looked like after some hours. Could you do like a before and after video just to get an idea on how long those waves would actually last?
I would love a follow up video on how these curls lasted. I love everything Dyson, and I’d love to have this too, but that price tag😱I need to know if the curls last!
So excited for you that you were able to have this opportunity!! I bet it was really neat going out there and getting to be one of the first to use it. I can't justify that kind of money right now, but I appreciate the innovation that was put into it. Also congratulations on a million subscribers!! It's been an exciting year for you and you deserve it 😚
Oh my goodness. Your channel is already up to 1 million subbies?! Your channel has grown SO fast. It feels like you just started. ❤ So many congrats to you two.
I already own the hairdryer and loooooove it so much ! When i watched the instagram ad on the Dyson account i was shocked and now with you tutorial i can't think about something else to get...for Xmas ;-) Thank you !
Looks great however I have the Dyson dryer and this product would make the dryer obsolete and then I would have wasted the 500 I spent on it, will stick with the dryer which I love.
I don't think so. use this if you want a curly style after washing it & the blow dryer for when you want a sleek look. although I would never spend money on those products in general. I just got a Conair blow dryer for $30 at Ulta & it is so great & even came with a quality paddle brush.
i LOVE my dyson air wrap.. it has a learning curve but once you get the hang of it.. i used it twice and now can do my hair in half the time i use to. again I LOVE IT

AGREE...hello I'm a Special Education teacher and can't even afford to THINK of buying such an expensive tool. Looks cool but can't afford it.
I got my Dyson hairdryer using airmile points. See if there's a reward program you use and if you can purchase it that way!

Let's all admit it. It's too costly . You can do the same hairstyle with a curling iron or straightener which costs way less.
Chelsiya Johny I mean you can but it’s a hair dryer too. It cuts time and tools in half.
I do the same thing with a $30 hot air curler from Walmart.
This product also protects your hair from heat damage.
Dyson warranty and customer service is AMAZING
The point of this is to not damage your hair with hot tools. It keeps your hair healthy
Never really know what to think when item is sponsored.
Maybe that she's honest and tested a product before she accepted a sponsorship...don't be bitter.
My hair is long and fine. Pin curls work for me
I’d love to know if the waves/curls hold or do they fall after an hour? Mine will be here soon, so excited!

Can you buy the base and one attachment at a time? Instead of everything at once which is very costly.
Can you use this as a hairdryer also or only as the tools. Cause in Australia it works out to be over 1000 for the complete package

10 thumbs up!!! That looks so easy and flawless. Way to go Dyson
Yay as soon as I saw a post about this device I was hoping you would review it!
1 million subscribers! Congratulations! 💋
So excited for you that you were able to have this opportunity!! I bet it was really neat going out there and getting to be one of the first to use it. I can't justify that kind of money right now, but I appreciate the innovation that was put into it. Also congratulations on a million subscribers!! It's been an exciting year for you and you deserve it 😚
Thank you!
Wow Dyson! Way too costly for the normal consumer. Guess I will stick with my Velcro curlers.
Oh my goodness. Your channel is already up to 1 million subbies?! Your channel has grown SO fast. It feels like you just started. ❤ So many congrats to you two.
Thank you so much!!! We really appreciate it
Can't wait to hear more about this product!
Would love to know where your dress is from! Thanks for the vid!
Does the barrel get hot? Can one burn your hands or neck? (I always do haha)
