It´s not someone in your corner that needs to grab the briefcase for you to win it´s the first participent of the match that has to hold the unhooked briefcase that wins it so, it´s also risky to do this cause if someone interfers and grabs the case off your teammate he wins.
Cody Hawk I think it woulda been cool. Tomko was the problem solver. He solved Christians problems and got him the win. Plus that woulda let us know the Christian was getting pushed and you can't be mad at that
I'm also wondering where he is, does he have an injury?Speaking of injuries, great to see Ryder is healthy and back, a decade in WWE will do stuff to your body, damn!
+Vítor Salvan They were trying to add Mojo Rollins but he couldn't get in...*shrugs*...Otherwise yeah there may be other people they could of added in but didn't because of "reasons".
I LOVE how jbl buried mike Bennet before he even got a chance to step in the ring. as he's laughing jbl says "he took her last name" best part of the evening.
"And why, exactly, is it a bad thing to break tradition with a husband claiming his wife's surname rather than the reverse? Don't understand why anyone would hate this PPV. Some dumb finishes, but the vast majority of the matches were fantastically fought. Great show in my mind. It's no Battleground 2016, but it's also not Fastlane 2017.
He says nobody would've liked it if in the first Money in the Bank but tbh if Lita did it for Edge it would've been cool and I don't think anyone would've complained
Tommy Traska my thoughts exactly. and edge is my favorite wrestler and I would have cheered just the same if lita for instance had grabbed the case for him
I think everyone is upset because it was the first women's mitb match and how far they've come. But honestly it's just the ending they're complaining about
yeah but men have been in the spotlight (not just in wrestling) for thousands of years, that mitb was a first for the women and of course a man had to be a part of it. I just hate imagining a little girl watching that and realising that the women can't win a mitb match without a man being involved. Fuck this company.
Majahhh1 You people are overthinking so much the situation. It was kinda of a predictable finish, it's so obvious, it has nothing to do with "women can't win MITB", it made sense story-line wise and it was a heel taking advantage of the rules (or the absence of them in this case) to get a cheap win. You are all making it look like it was about the man getting the briefcase when all I saw was a manager getting a win for his/her competitor. Maybe doing it on the first was kinda dumb, but the story was written. Carmella was the best woman to win the MITB since she is undeserving of it and she NEEDS it to even have a shot for the title, plus Ellsworth getting the title is the most undeserving way of her winning it. It furthers the story of Carmella using Ellsworth to get wins (She may not retrieved the case, but she is manipulating Ellsworth to get wins, so technically she is on top, not him, he is being used) plus it gives you a great way to build something between Becky and Ellsworth if they really want to go forward with that (since Becky already said she would want to fight Ellsworth). Tbh it made sense, don't see why people are going ape shit about it
Poor Ziggler... He took a ton of punishment and he doesn't even get a mention :( He was always underrated by WWE... But now, he is underrated by fans as well...
Ok, A lot of people are complaining about the Championship match being before the ladder match...I get it. I really do. But do you really fucking think Jinder VS Orton would have any energy to it after that ladder match? I mean, Really? This is a time I agree with it because no one would of given a shit.
Plus, the events name is Money in the Bank. It makes sense that would be the main event. Nobody complains at Royal Rumble when championship matches happen before the Rumble.
The women's match would have been a great finish next year. As a first match, there should have been a clean finish. To be honest though, Ellsworth is kind of a girl anyways. I'd still give the PPV a 71%. Being a "smark" seems to be ruining the entertainment for people, just swallow it and try to hold a half FULL glass of kayfabe. Geez, I was entertained for the whole way. Most anger to this show for me is genuine heel-heat-anger, so it hasn't taken away from my enjoyment.
Xophe A'dethri yeah I was too satisfied with the ppv though I wanted Becky, Zayn and New day to win. else it was much better than Clash of champions, fastlane and this years backlash.
Xophe A'dethri Why do smarks ruin it for you? Not everyone watches it the same way you do and not everyone has to agree with you. Good for you that you enjoyed it. Personally, it was garbage.
RantorReview it would've been great if the crowd started to boo or something...........everyone was just like "okay so that just happened" it wasn't memorable.
It was a very smart move. How do people not realize that this is how their relationship works? He does everything for her and she just takes advantage.
I love the fact that Ellsworth won it FOR Carmella, let's be honest, a man DID NOT win the match, Ellsworth cannot cash in the MITB, and with the amount of genuine heat it's gotten I think it was a brilliant move.
It's pretty old-school and chivalrous actually. Probably why it has ticked so many liberal nerves, and granted it's not ideal for an event that's supposed to be a women's first. Still pretty nice. Maybe they can pull Elsworth out of the gimmick pit this way.
+TheBrownTown007 I found a man winning the women's money in the bank match absolutely sexist. If that was the intent why hype it? I suppose I should have seen it coming. They planned on having a gay marriage moment between two men but that turned out to be a ploy.
Expect a man didn't WIN it, he helped someone win it, fuck off with that SJW shit man, I might be left wing but your butthurt propaganda aint welcome here.
Jasons Bornot These people are just extremely butt hurt of the Women MITB ending but other than that it was solid. And the ending of the Women MITB is NOT a Shitty ending.
I feel like a man climbing the ladder to pull down the case really de-legitimizes the women's division that they've tried so hard to build as important. It builds heat, but I don't think it's worth such a limp ending. Tag match was great, but ending via countout right after the raw tag title match just ended the same way felt really cheap and repetitive. I thought Lana was actually quite good. It really surprised me because I thought she'd be a bit of a mess. I'm a bit disappointed that Lana's finisher was easily kicked out of in her first match; it makes her seem super weak and unimportant. Maria return sucked. Fashion Police vs. Ascension was a filler match, just whatever. WWE championship match was actually really good until the shenanigans outside into an ending essentially the same as their last match. Men's MITB was really great and I felt like the right man won. Basically the PPV was just great matches with terrible finishes.
Haku OfTheTubes It doesn't de-legitimize it at all as the women will get their revenge of super heel Ellsworth...get a clue. those girls worked so hard and the finish does not matter as it's just climbing a ladder to grab a briefcase, that's right you just got upset cos a match involving a prop didn't end the way you wanted it. Usos and new day are funding, as with most fueds, a clean finish would kill it so the heels Walking away is ya know, pro wrestling. Breezeango had another great skit. Lana tried her best and Carmellsworth coming out and deciding the timing was right is good booking. Mike and Maria come out for a few minutes so basically as with anything, see how they get on with each episode of smack down. Their gimmick is gona be an in love preachy couple which will work for them. Jinder going over as heel against the hometown boy makes sense as well. Breezeango vs accession was filler for a reason and just to help Breezeangos push. MITB mens match was a great effort with a young talent going over and him taking out Naka made sense. WWE now books things to piss off its erm 'smarter' fans on purpose. None of you even have a clue that Reigns has been part heel for a while now but you all still think he is a mega pushed baby face and hate him more cos of the heel stuff he does.
Jacob Aguilar I don't like the concept of gimmick matches having PPVs at all. Money in the Bank was one of the biggest attractions for WrestleMania for 6 years and they need to put it back. It also doesn't make sense because this was exclusive to one brand and not both.
Why are people saying that was a bad show? I thought it was a great show! The only part that REALLY disappointed me was the Fashion Police's opponents...
I'm on the "I'm okay with it" side of the women's MITB finish. It suited Carmella's character well since this kind of thing is exactly why they paired her up with Ellsworth in the first place. If you put aside the whole gender politics thing, it's exactly the kind of finish that will infuriate fans and incite them against the heel winner which is what you want.
IMO the whole show would have been better received if it had just been arranged a bit better and a couple of minor changes. Personally I'd have had: 1. Usos vs. New Day - Good match with a non-finish, fair enough given it's the first match of the rivalry. 2. Men's MITB - Makes the audience wonder if there'll be a cash in later in the night, had a conclusive finish to placate the crowd after the earlier non-finish. 3. Breezango vs. The Ascension - Palate cleanser match after the MITB match while the crowd recovers, have a proper finish rather than the roll-up. 4. Naomi vs. Lana - Book this basically the same with Lana looking strong but getting caught in a submission due to her inexperience. Removes the cash-in tease since it didn't really add anything and Lana looks good by pushing the champ in her first proper match. 5. Women's MITB - Leave this the same, creates the controversy and anger over the finish but fans are less frustrated at the show overall because it's been over an hour since the non-finish at the start of the show. 6. Mahal vs. Orton - WWE title match so it should go on last, especially since the crowd will be super hot for Orton in his home town. Had a proper pin-fall finish to end the PPV even if it was by Mahal using his cronies.
im okay with a heel cheating to win. the problem is that finnish doesnt put heat on carmella. it puts heat on writers. for me atleast. writers should be invisible.
If my gf was in a MITB match and I was her manager, I'd get it for her too, it's a logical step, especially for heels. Everyone expected it to happen whch means A LOT of people thought it through and it was a play to be made! PS. I don't have a gf though :(
this very fact is why i worry about the future of wrestling in general... it is almost counter productive to the very idea of pro wrestling to get mad at the writers over anything... people need to shut the hell up about booking and get mad at the heels, or stop watching wrestling....
hadn't watched wwe for a few years despite being a massive fan as a kid. Got back into it thanks to you guys. Bought MITB (1st PPV since Wrestlemania 30)... and basically got shilled out of 15 euros (I live in Italy). Yep, won't make that mistake again!
Drileyj i'd like Charlotte leading the other girls into beating the shit out of Carmella at sdl and Daniel Bryan announcing a redo of the mitb match with Ellsworth in chains or something.
turtlehead2 so did i,and that's sad because I'm a part time fan who doesn't watch the weekly episodes. so calling the outcomes of each match really isn't anything to brag about anymore.
Terry Brown let me know when you get a TH-cam channel where you put a cardboard belt on the line every PPV. The guy in the video changed his name to Plumpy. Stipulation was that if he won the predictions he could compete for an opportunity to change his name back to Adam. It was changed due to losing at predictions once. Anybody can get the predictions right. But with something on the line he got all of them right.
OK so what's your point, my point is the business sucks and no one should be able to predict every match on the card in any promotion. I don't give a fuck about some gay ass youtube game.lol
Terry Brown but you are commenting on a video of a guy who plays a "gay ass game" on TH-cam. Sometimes people say stupid shit, get called out on it and try to save face. I get it. Keep trying to convince yourself that you're right. Like 80s and 90s wrestling was so unpredictable. Lol fuck all the way off.
turtlehead2 it doesn't matter what I comment on. it doesn't make me any less correct and 80's and 90's wrestling wasn't predictable by any means. even the so called experts were only right 60% of the time at best and that's how it should be. if you suspend disbelief and keep people guessing the product will be more interesting and in turn more entertaining. And this video is about the outcome of the ppv not about the results of whatever game you are talking about. but I understand sometimes dumbasses open their mouths and speak on things that are irrelevant. it's OK pal, you will be able to predict this product eventually too. it just takes years of watching the same old shit all the time.
Blazer's Time fair enough I guess cause if he's not a tweener it's a little weird to have a heel versus hell matchup for the championship at great balls of fire
When Ellsworth was trying to wake up Carmella I was thinking "ha imagine if Ellsworth won the briefcase"... and then he looked up and I thought "Vince would get a good laugh out of that wouldn't he... oh no".
By having it finish the way it did it got more eyes on the wwe than if Carmella just climbed up and retrieved it. Its simple marketing. Create a social media controversy wait for all the people who would normally not care about your product write columns about it then give a half arsed apology while laughing that these fools fall for the same trap every time.
if he had kept the brief case...like he had decided to try and cash it in because he would never get a chance at the men's title lol I would have liked it
Did it have the lowest buy rate in company history? Did it singlehandedly cause multiple wrestlers to ask for release? No? Then December to Dismember remains the worst PPV of all time
THE PURPLE Guy disagree. Smackdown is really bland in sequence. They rely on the same formula every night. Maybe better in ting talent, but the package isn't there. Shit commentators down the board, predictable backstage segments, an old guy vs an Indian cash grab, some dude without a chin, and a shit tag division.
The Main event Mens Money in the Bank was what saved the show. They could have done the same PPV but shuffled it better and people would have probably loved it.
+Wallsof Jerichoholic I've seen "BAD" PPvs. I feel like the bad PPVS like ARMEGGEDEON 2007 or FULLY LOADED 2000 were meh but had their fair share of ups. for MITB 2017 out of the six matches only one was good being the mens MITB match.
In terms of storytelling I actually liked the PPV, excluding the Women-MitB-Match. Orton vs. Mahal was decent, probably better than a Orton-Match usally is. The Tag-Titles were retained by a Heel-Team in true Heel-Fashion (good Match IMO). I guess you can argue about Lana vs. Naomi, it felt a lot like the old Divas-Days... When i think about it, the PPV might be doomed from the beginning. There was no hype really going in, so everybody thought it would be kinda meh. So the PPV just fullfilled their expectations maybe.
Calm down about the womens match. Maryse would have done it for the Miz and it builds enormous heat. The crowd was into it too, almost half the arena gave a yes chant.
Jake Smith i would've loved to see maryse win it for miz. that would generate proper heat, not a massive troll of a match. i mean come on, "we're gonna make history..... but it'll be a short cop out."
+Jake Smith True better Maryse and Miz are better wrestlers than Elmsworth and Carmella. Miz and Maryse can get away with bullshit better than Elmsworth and Carmella.
What just happened was that they've been given the first unique MITB storyline. Usually it's just "they won, when will the cash it in?" Now it's, "Does she deserve it? Will she be stripped of it? What will happen with Ellsworth? How will all of the other women react to this?" In the past, none of the other competitors have been part of the story after the match. So I'm excited for them to tell a great story with it and to experience something new. Plus it makes sense for their dynamic, Carmella couldn't beat jobbers without his help. Aaaaand there's a precedent for someone wining without actually grabbing the title. Ziggler retained the US title when the other two in the match grabbed it and it fell to the floor and Ziggler picked it up. So at least there is consistency? What just happened was that the New Day weren't pinned and made to look weak and the story gets to continue. Loved the PPV.
You know how some fans swoon over the "indie darlings" (Rollins, Zayn, Owens, etc) over talents "made" by WWE (Corbin, Mahal and Reigns are the most notable). There's no pleasing these people, especially when one of WWE's "made men" get the push they feel should rightfully belong to their favourites.
Ken Hamada you do realize all wwe talent has spent time in the indie circuit right? it's not like they get hired and immediately go to wwe tv. Steve Austin, The Rock, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Bret Hart, AJ Styles just to name a few...all "indie darlings" so not sure if that overused tag is a really as negative as you are attempting to make it. I personally love Corbin winning it. Styles vs Nakamura at summer slam, build a face to beat Majahl and have Corbin cash it in and start a feud. There's a ton to like about that outcome....the ppv as a whole was horrible though despite a great crowd.
Cortez Pates It's not feminist bs when they're genuinely good. Charlotte alone is a more talented wrestler than half the men's roster. Trouble is that he's still booking them like Divas instead of like NXT.
grail68 she is gifted but wow 50. man you deff need to look at these people traning and not just in the ring or on tv lol. if she was better than 50 percent of the men her effort in the diffrent women type matches didnt show it smh
Justin Murphy Santino pulled it off really good, I mean the Pops he got when he was the runner up to the Royal Rumble or when He hit Daniel Bryan with the Cobra, in Elimination Chamber were the money and talent was there man.
I feel like Plumby and me are polar opposites when it comes to ppvs. I thought MITB was great, he did not. He thought this year's Royal Rumble was great, I thought it was utter shit(especially since they put Roman at #30'after he just had a match). Don't worry Plumby, just watch the next Smackdown then you'll fell better.
This was the first PPV this year that I felt every match had a great moment that I really enjoyed (apart from the Fashion Police match). Plumpy don't shit on it for the sake of shitting on it, look at he good things!
My biggest problem with the female MITB (besides the dumb finish, not enough interactions with the ladders,no bexplex on a ladder,Becky Lynch not winning) is how the crowd reacted when Ellsworth climbed the ladder....FUCKING YES CHANTS,seriously St.Louis?
Baron is a future champ , and now its just under a year before he fufills his potential, he is a great heel , you can say what you want , but i believe he is the next big one !!!
Heels have to win the money in the bank matches. Faces shouldn’t win MITB because most of the time Mr MITB will catch the champion off guard and it’s not the honorable way to win.
Rob Leonard Exactly, I don't get why you have to make it about gender. It's great heat for the heels, and it just doesn't make sense to me that wrestling fans will shit on anything that doesn't go exactly how the want it to. How does it make sense to only want to see what you want to happen, that'd be terrible entertainment because everything would be so incredibly painfully obvious and predictable. Seriously, quit whining about wrestling not going the way you want it to!
This whole review felt like Whatculture didnt like MoneyintheBank and nitpicked spots and kinda took a dump on it. It was a good ppv , it had good matches , nice storytelling and controversy.
Abhijit Tripathy idk, it jst seems that a man grabbing the briefcase for a womens match was very bad. for the past 2 or 3 weeks, we had all this hype grow and grow as we came closer to see the 1st ever womens mitb match and a man kinda winning it jst isnt a good decision
I like that the Divas Ladder match ended this way, it gives great heel heat to Carmella. Also, we've had so many Money in the Bank Ladder matches, it's nice to see a different ending.
That ppv was brilliant...we had 3 stars rise..honestly.. you don't get it.. there's legit hate..stop shitting on a good ppv for no reason...that's just bs hating
Grow up, kid. You don't have to fellate the WWE for everything they do. They do good and bad, and there was good and bad in last night. Most of it WAS bad. Period. The reason their popularity is waning (and it is believe it or not) is waning is fans like you who accept everything as good or great. Why bother putting out a consistently exceptional product when the fanbase is a bunch of sheep who gobble up any garbage you throw at them.
Blind Owl the ppv was good. Carmella, a heel, used her manager, a heel, to win the contract. Lana vs. Naomi was good for someone who isn't a wrestler. Usos vs. New Day was legitimately amazing with the false finishes. Breezango vs. Ascension nobody cared about. The Orton Mahal match got real heat on Mahal and Baron Corbin needed a win.
Rob Britt first of all, I'm probably older than you, you gave that away with your horrible grammar,.. Secondly, this isn't the usual shaving down our throats, every match, (including the fashion police) had a possibility for an amazing story in the future.. what you don't get is that this ppv has planted seeds for future events that we can only speculate but not predict, so please, don't try to be petty with your ignorance, but look at the bigger picture. #dumbass
KO actually took biggest bumps! Respect to KO for putting everyone else over and making them look good
KO is great, That man knows how to bump unlike some people.
+Gabriel Victor Didn't KO like... you know, break a fucking ladder on his back? That seems like a pretty big bump to me...
yeah but aj fell from the case
Yall gonna forget dolph?
Dolph is the seller of the century
Summary: good matches, bad finishes...
except nakamura v aj face off there was no exciting moment for me
aadsfdfhg gcftfuyf he's right Corbin's boring
Catalan Dwk that's what I just wanted to say.
I would have wanted my money back if i actually paid to watch it glad I didn't
I did not like to end to the girls mitb
dont let this distract you from the fact that the next PPV is called "Great Balls of Fire"
IS THAT SEXUAL HARASSMENT? Hugh Mungous
Can't wait for SD's next PPV, "You aint nothin' but a hound dog"
Tony Ranard
didn't mean to put that
The question is "What if Tomko grabbed the briefcase in the first MITB?" He was in Christian's corner.
Noone would've cared
It´s not someone in your corner that needs to grab the briefcase for you to win it´s the first participent of the match that has to hold the unhooked briefcase that wins it so, it´s also risky to do this cause if someone interfers and grabs the case off your teammate he wins.
Cody Hawk I think it woulda been cool. Tomko was the problem solver. He solved Christians problems and got him the win. Plus that woulda let us know the Christian was getting pushed and you can't be mad at that
I was expecting Goldberg's son, Simon to replace Shinsuke at the beginning of the money in the bank match 😂
I just wonder where the hell is tye dillinger. He could have been easily added to the MITB ladder match, also be feuding with owens for the us title
He’s the chairman now
AJ Styles can make a worst PPV be a little bad ; that's how good he is.
How many times does Sami Zayn have to kill Kevin Owens in a MiTB ladder match?
Demon Prince forever because its fun as hell to watch
Demon Prince 17,584,363 times
Atleast one more
Demon Prince
i now he did it three freaking times , hopefully more
Demon Prince, how much longer till Sami Zyan wins a main roster title.
I LOVE how jbl buried mike Bennet before he even got a chance to step in the ring. as he's laughing jbl says "he took her last name" best part of the evening.
Maria defiantly wears the trousers in that relationship.
Alex Reed he should have kept his last name this has got vince all over it
You don't say? look
*Lol

Funny how people used to joke saying ellsworth would win the womens mitb match
Speezus Christ WWE listens to the fans lol
the crowd popped when he climbed the ladder. When he dropped it, it felt so fucking awkward.
Sesiom To be fair, that drop was smooth as fuck.
"Santina morella your ghost lives on" exactly what i thought haha
What's da song they were rapping/singing at 5:05 in the MITB 2017 reactions!?
Don't understand why anyone would hate this PPV. Some dumb finishes, but the vast majority of the matches were fantastically fought. Great show in my mind. It's no Battleground 2016, but it's also not Fastlane 2017.

Tommy Traska my thoughts exactly. and edge is my favorite wrestler and I would have cheered just the same if lita for instance had grabbed the case for him

Lmao 😂😂😂
Poor Ziggler... He took a ton of punishment and he doesn't even get a mention :( He was always underrated by WWE... But now, he is underrated by fans as well...
naveen kumar Unfortunately, everyone has given up on him. it'll take a lot to take him seriously again...
He has been great lately too
Ok, A lot of people are complaining about the Championship match being before the ladder match...I get it. I really do. But do you really fucking think Jinder VS Orton would have any energy to it after that ladder match? I mean, Really? This is a time I agree with it because no one would of given a shit.

Thanks for the compliments I was in the crowd
baron corbin and jinder mahal are probably the only heels that people are hating
I liked the PPV tbh. Other than a few bad finishes, the show was pretty good. And fucking hell, there was a good crowd.
Izzy Shamin a absolutely great crowd.
Great crowd, bad ppv.
Great crowd, good matches, bad ending, decent PPV
Izzy Shamin I went to it. Thx for saying we're a good crowd
Izzy Shamin I was there
I was there, and we had a great time, so much energy in the arena!
Xophe A'dethri Edge didn't have a clean finish
lalanapalala1 but that didn't arguable set back women's wrestling
Xophe A'dethri yeah I was too satisfied with the ppv though I wanted Becky, Zayn and New day to win. else it was much better than Clash of champions, fastlane and this years backlash.
wahey, guess who's wrong
Xophe A'dethri Why do smarks ruin it for you? Not everyone watches it the same way you do and not everyone has to agree with you. Good for you that you enjoyed it. Personally, it was garbage.
The Woman's MITB match would have been better, if Elsworth accidentally dropped it into the wrong woman's arms, making carmella attack him.
TheRollercoasterRedfish that would have been
F A B U L O U S!!
TheRollercoasterRedfish THAT would have been hilarious
TheRollercoasterRedfish Good call. That could've been really funny and interesting
thanks for the compliment plumpy, was in the crowd last night and i can't use my voice today thanks to styles and nakamura
corbin or sami were the only ones who needed it. aj is super over so is ko and naka and ziggler is to far gone
Nakamura is not living up to his full potential, but he is nowhere near gone. That's obvious from the pops he gets alone.
he was saying ziggler is to far gone, not Nakamura
how tf do people misread that you clearly said ziggler was to far gone
a man didn't win it, Carmella, a heel, was helped by her manager, also a heel, to win.
Exactly. That's how I predicted it would happen. That's how you get heat for Carmella. It's perfect.
+Septicor
It would be perfect if she had actually got heat, but she didn't. The crowd didn't boo her when her music played after the match.
RantorReview it would've been great if the crowd started to boo or something...........everyone was just like "okay so that just happened" it wasn't memorable.
It was a very smart move. How do people not realize that this is how their relationship works? He does everything for her and she just takes advantage.
RantorReview but not on the "first ever Woman MITB." no that is plain wrong!
I love the fact that Ellsworth won it FOR Carmella, let's be honest, a man DID NOT win the match, Ellsworth cannot cash in the MITB, and with the amount of genuine heat it's gotten I think it was a brilliant move.
Best result. Also, totally predicted it!
It's pretty old-school and chivalrous actually.
Probably why it has ticked so many liberal nerves, and granted it's not ideal for an event that's supposed to be a women's first.
Still pretty nice. Maybe they can pull Elsworth out of the gimmick pit this way.
I loved it too, and so did the crowd. Huge pop for that with a "yes" chant to boot. Ellsworth looked like a giant piece of popcorn, it was hilarious
+TheBrownTown007 I found a man winning the women's money in the bank match absolutely sexist. If that was the intent why hype it? I suppose I should have seen it coming. They planned on having a gay marriage moment between two men but that turned out to be a ploy.
Expect a man didn't WIN it, he helped someone win it, fuck off with that SJW shit man, I might be left wing but your butthurt propaganda aint welcome here.
this ppv is no way near the worst ppv in history
Jasons Bornot I know people overreacting
Jasons Bornot you are correct it is not the worst. It's still trash though.
Jasons Bornot it was Definitely the worst money in the bank ever!
Jasons Bornot These people are just extremely butt hurt of the Women MITB ending but other than that it was solid. And the ending of the Women MITB is NOT a Shitty ending.
The ending of the woman's match put the revolution back 10 years
Great balls of fire is looking pretty good now aye?
Why would you have hope for a good PPV after the last two PPV's?
SkyRu1e The logo looks like a penis...
Why have hope for a ppv that sounds like an std
Sasuke Uchiha sounds like when you have chilli on your hands and go to the toilet
Even Smackdown ("the Better show" ) couldn't even have a good ppv what makes you think Raw can???
Thanks for the St. Louis shout out. It's a great wrestling town and they showed up in a big way. Thanks for recognizing that.
James Ellsworth is the woman's money in the bank winner.
Arturo Benitez Ellsworth should be the first ever male Smackdown women's champion.
Carmella should have won by climbing the ladder
Technically, Carmella won it. He wasn't in the match, so he can't have won it.
Seth Budrik we know..... you missed the sarcasm
They just need to bite the bullet and make Ellsworth come out as identifying as a woman. Pull a full Andy Kaufman with him.
Haku OfTheTubes
It doesn't de-legitimize it at all as the women will get their revenge of super heel Ellsworth...get a clue. those girls worked so hard and the finish does not matter as it's just climbing a ladder to grab a briefcase, that's right you just got upset cos a match involving a prop didn't end the way you wanted it.
I'm glad you liked the crowd reaction, I was screaming my head off.
This PPV just goes to show why Money in the Bank needs to be back on WrestleMania and not as its own PPV.
Matthew Danian money in the bank instead of the Andre the Giant memorial
Mason Cassioppi yup I see that you have the right idea.
Matthew Danian Mitb is a great ppv. I enjoyed the ppv but if you didn't like it that shouldn't mean that the ppv should be scrapped
Jacob Aguilar I don't like the concept of gimmick matches having PPVs at all. Money in the Bank was one of the biggest attractions for WrestleMania for 6 years and they need to put it back. It also doesn't make sense because this was exclusive to one brand and not both.
Matthew Danian fair enough but i disagree
Lana's screams were SOOOOO FUCKING ANNOYING
Mark __878 I put it on mute after a few minutes
But her ring gear was oh so good.
Lana is annoying... she's useful only for backstage's segments like the one with Enzo
Get ready for Simon Miller and his glowing review of this PPV
Why are people saying that was a bad show? I thought it was a great show! The only part that REALLY disappointed me was the Fashion Police's opponents...
i agree good sir
Well, most of the matches on the main card had some sort of interference or indecisive finishes
And Still.... WhatCulture Heavyweight Champion....
Ghostrick Ethix the reigning, defending, undisputed what culture champion of the world.
PLUMPY (Adam Blampied soon)
Am I the only one who enjoyed the ppv
Jordyn Mack I liked it a lot
Jordyn Mack I loved it.
Jordyn Mack It was amazing
Jordyn Mack yes
Jordyn Mack I loved it. The crowd was amazing tbh
Jai H they have a lot of potential with Carmella developing into a top level heel
IMO the whole show would have been better received if it had just been arranged a bit better and a couple of minor changes.
Personally I'd have had:
Jai H
I would have the women's MITB as the main event cause it would be a good way to end the show and it would give importance to the division
im okay with a heel cheating to win. the problem is that finnish doesnt put heat on carmella. it puts heat on writers. for me atleast. writers should be invisible.
Scott Iwaniec it puts heat on her just look at roman
Scott Iwaniec I disagree. It puts heat on both Ellsworth and Carmella, since they're a team.
-samsara- but Carmella did get the briefcase
Yep, won't make that mistake again!
phenomenal elbow??? Thought it was a forearm
Prediction: sdl Becky takes ellsworth to suplex city
Drileyj i'd like Charlotte leading the other girls into beating the shit out of Carmella at sdl and Daniel Bryan announcing a redo of the mitb match with Ellsworth in chains or something.
Ellsworth in chains...funny, I don't remember telling anyone about that dream.
marrick855 well that's not ambiguous at all lol
I feel like I should drink whenever the plump says "fine" in one of these videos
The GOAT! Plumpy took whatculturewrestling to 1 million subscribers
Javi Jasso he's not a Goat, he's a man.
Javi Jasso Simón did all the hard work
What just happened is Plumpy got all the predictions correct.
turtlehead2 so did i,and that's sad because I'm a part time fan who doesn't watch the weekly episodes. so calling the outcomes of each match really isn't anything to brag about anymore.
Just the fact that Mike Bennett is called "Mike Kanellis" shows that he is this generation's Marc Mero.
Jinder Mahal is the new John Cena!
SPOILER ALERT: Jinder wins!
#DontHinderTheJinder
i guess I'm disabled or something...found it exciting
No! #StallTheMahal
TON4COOKI #CantHinderTheJinder
Love the modern day Maharaja! #DontAssumeMyJinder
#JinderNeutral
I just realized there's only one champion that's not a heel on the main roster right now
That's gotta be Kane.....
I mean Naomi.
Brownman and Skinnydude if you count Lesnar
but he's a tweener I think
Blazer's Time fair enough I guess cause if he's not a tweener it's a little weird to have a heel versus hell matchup for the championship at great balls of fire
When Ellsworth was trying to wake up Carmella I was thinking "ha imagine if Ellsworth won the briefcase"... and then he looked up and I thought "Vince would get a good laugh out of that wouldn't he... oh no".
I don't mind Carmella winning
worked for Rollins in 2015, it can work for her
Most people don't have an issue with her winning. It's how she won it in the first women's MITB match.
Rustycode89 I don't have an issue with how she won either, part of me was thinking how funny it would be if Ellsworth kept the briefcase for himself
Plumpy looks like Blampied
K skillz2 You right I see it
K skillz2 Nah I don't see it
Gotta notice the GREAT pop that James Ellsworth received when he climbed the ladder. A good Smackdown PPV in my opinion.
This ppv was good IMO. The finish to the WMITB was something new and creative, but political correctness is blinding some people see it.
if he had kept the brief case...like he had decided to try and cash it in because he would never get a chance at the men's title lol I would have liked it
That moment when the crowd cheers Kevin Owens, and everybody knows... That crowd is great ;)
Did it have the lowest buy rate in company history? Did it singlehandedly cause multiple wrestlers to ask for release? No? Then December to Dismember remains the worst PPV of all time
73MPL4R if this wasn't on WWE Network the buy rate wouldn't be great either, don't kid yourself.
Great balls of fucking fire God that's a terrible name for a ppv 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jordan Strong Yeah, shame it's still looking better than anything Smackdown! related though, even with that penis shaped logo.
wishbone346 you realise smackdown is better then raw by a longshot
THE PURPLE Guy disagree. Smackdown is really bland in sequence. They rely on the same formula every night. Maybe better in ting talent, but the package isn't there. Shit commentators down the board, predictable backstage segments, an old guy vs an Indian cash grab, some dude without a chin, and a shit tag division.
'Worst WWE PPV in a very long time'
FastLane 2017:
'hold my beer'
R.I.P Kevin Owens
people getting mad a heel manager helped a heel win money in the bank
How many people are waiting for MITB 2017 WTF MOMENTS
Becky heel turn
God I hope so!
They could try, but if it's a rivalry vs. Carmella, it's gonna be a hard time convincing anybody to cheer against Becky.
Drileyj stfu
Drileyj the briefcase would've been a great way to do that
Drileyj
Zach Ryder heal turn?
Becky Lynch heel turn is coming soon.
The Main event Mens Money in the Bank was what saved the show. They could have done the same PPV but shuffled it better and people would have probably loved it.
Look I am not saying that it was great, but it could have been much worse. It was not a bad PPV and not a good PPV, it was THE PPV.
What just happed was Zayn, Ziggler, and Owens fell asleep during #mitb
Zane Mask Zayn had moments, Ziggler and Owens were just kinda there
Dalemail 5000 I ment at the end.
Zane Mask I loved how Corbin attacked Nakamura
Dalemail 5000 yea, this is just me but I think a champion shouldn't be in the mitb. I'm looking at you Owens.
Zane Mask they should have made a united state championship ladder match. Tye,Owens,Harper, fuck it throw in rusev
My biggest gripe is that the entire first half matches ended in wonky finishes
Calm down about the womens match. Maryse would have done it for the Miz and it builds enormous heat. The crowd was into it too, almost half the arena gave a yes chant.
Jake Smith Would she be doing this for the first ever MITB match or is it one of the hundred that have already happened?
Jake Smith i would've loved to see maryse win it for miz. that would generate proper heat, not a massive troll of a match. i mean come on, "we're gonna make history..... but it'll be a short cop out."
Jake Smith i was screaming ELSWORTH DO SOMETHING FOR ONCE then he did and it was hilarious
+Jake Smith True better Maryse and Miz are better wrestlers than Elmsworth and Carmella. Miz and Maryse can get away with bullshit better than Elmsworth and Carmella.
the women's mitb was crap but still better than the women's hell in a cell, so there's that...
What just happened was that they've been given the first unique MITB storyline. Usually it's just "they won, when will the cash it in?"
Now it's, "Does she deserve it?
Why The Fuck are these kids mad anout corbin...Corbin is going to be the future heel
He is boring. So boring. And in a way just annoying. How do people boo Roman but give a pass to this guy. If he wasn't on the show I wouldn't notice.
Ken Hamada reigns is a bad example there cause well he's kinda shot at promos but otherwise yeah your right
+Eric Chege Dumbass hes a fucking heel
The women's money in the bank match was shit. It was like they were scared to use a ladder. WWE is on Vince Russo levels of shitty booking.
Well they are lol. Um vince stop the feminist bs. Your going to get someone killed
Cortez Pates It's not feminist bs when they're genuinely good. Charlotte alone is a more talented wrestler than half the men's roster. Trouble is that he's still booking them like Divas instead of like NXT.
grail68 she is gifted but wow 50. man you deff need to look at these people traning and not just in the ring or on tv lol. if she was better than 50 percent of the men her effort in the diffrent women type matches didnt show it smh
augustine ajua They belted each other with ladders all night. What do you mean?
I half agree with you. It was shit cause of how it was decided by that toad Ellsworth fetching that briefcase.
It seems that people keep forgetting about Fastlane 2017. That was the worst PPV ever. There will never be a PPV worse than that one.
last year was better overall
Dean Ambrose yeah a lot better
I honestly liked Santino better than Ellsworth.... But hey that's just me
Aldair Reynoso- Santino is also entertaining or Ellsworth just need to get off my TV.
Haywood Jablome exactly, His Debut match with Umaga the first 4 minutes before Lashley came out, were pretty good, I was surprised
Justin Murphy Santino pulled it off really good, I mean the Pops he got when he was the runner up to the Royal Rumble or when He hit Daniel Bryan with the Cobra, in Elimination Chamber were the money and talent was there man.
I was at the arena. The Pop that Ellsworth got was stupidly loud hahahaa
Anyone bitching bout Ellsworth got worked! WWE got you! Great finish in my opinion!
AJ styles the greatest Wrestler ever !!
Even they know he is the best part about the women's division and he isn't even trying.
K-plus tunjevina lol, it's funny and it's true
Justsomeguy Mad?
"The fans were like 'oh'"? Were they? They seemed to be doing the "Yes Yes Yes" chant when they noticed that he was about to climb the ladder.
Baron is a future champ , and now its just under a year before he fufills his potential, he is a great heel , you can say what you want , but i believe he is the next big one !!!
Gary Watzittoyaa me too
Gary Watzittoyaa ugh what the fuck happened man
Still only one face champ. Good for Naomi.
Kevin Owens taking those 2 massive ladder spots was insane imo
Heels have to win the money in the bank matches. Faces shouldn’t win MITB because most of the time Mr MITB will catch the champion off guard and it’s not the honorable way to win.
Also I’m fine with James Ellsworth getting the briefcase and dropping it to Carmella because it makes people hate Carmella and James even more.
Rusev didn't show up rip
I just watched the paper-view and of corse baron corbin won but what did shinskes brief case that he won on smack down mean. Thx.
#fastlanewastheworstppvneverforget
+kyriakosVegeta Which year?
Naclyn Erick II definitely this year's. it was sunday night raw
This whole review felt like Whatculture didnt like MoneyintheBank and nitpicked spots and kinda took a dump on it. It was a good ppv , it had good matches , nice storytelling and controversy.
What match besides the main event was good?
Azreal231916 usos vs new day
Ilias Mirallas yeah, actually good point. You got me. Really good match. That feud has legs. Fair point.
The finish to the women's MITB match was brilliant. I loved it.
Bad ppv but still much better than Extreme Rules
ML13 Absolutely. Completely. WRONG. The fatal 5 way by itself was better than the entire MiTB ppv matches combined
Rasp Berry nope. Men's MITB match was better than the Extreme Rules main event
You are so depressing Adam! I loved the ppv it was so much fun. You guys take it too seriously, just enjoy the show!
Abhijit Tripathy yeah, with wwe ruining the womens revolution
infinity gamer03 I don't think they ruined it. don't jump to conclusions
Abhijit Tripathy but since becky got scwered by ellsworth, we might see a man vs woman match like we used to hv in the attitude era
infinity gamer03 I guess the finish gives more heat to Carmella and Ellsworth and would bring more attention to the division.
#dumbass
+Blind Owl "Shaving down our throats". Wow yep, definitely older and smarter.
Mirage Sounds of course you're mature..god I don't even know why I'm arguing with a simpleton
Didn't know there were this many feminists who are fans of WWE.
Beer ! I dunno about feminists mate. There's just some damn good woman wrestlers and it's a shame they don't get booked the way they did on NXT.
The guy sitting behind me was giving a great commentary the entire night.
As far as Carmella winning, I hope this is creatives way of forcing Ellsworth out of the picture
I'm just salty that baron Corbin won instead of someone like Sami zayn Kevin Owens aj styles or shinsuke nakamura
Mark __878 Owens, Nakamura and Styles don't need it dude it's not that hard to understand
