I made the joke "that only you can prevent war crimes" to my uncle, he then hit me (not hard) and told me that that was a terrable joke, his son and wife thought it was hilarious. The thing is that he is a brigadier general
I love the narrative you constructed in this, and the way the players properly roleplayed into it - calling in what they saw, having concern for the UN casualties, just, mwah, magnifique. Looking forward to seeing the next installment of this one.
Wait, wait... aren't combatants posing as non-combatants in itself a war crime? If it is that's a little ironi- *(This comment has been redacted by U.S. Government)*
I know it's an older operation, but I think it'd be fun to have those mags left at the IDAP base to have some sort of consequence, or at least a lack of support.
30% of the fun of these videos (at least) are watching Liru fight to the death with the AI and RC-ing the vehicles/armor. Sometimes it's like ARMA is sentient........
the idea for a mercenary campaign just came to mind one where the players start with very basic weapons and slowly as the payments get bigger the jobs get darker and darker
They are from rhs gref, however that's just where the gear is from, I took it and I made custom kits out of them and replace them and eat an editor and put some debug units in a corner of the maps in case I need to spawn more. These days I find myself doing that a lot because, well it is great to have things to spawn in the zoo interface from the mods themselves, it's better in my opinion to build a custom group of units that you can tailor to the off and then copy paste them in as needed or just have them preplaced in the editor
Preventing war crimes in Arma? Isn’t that like playing chess with checker pieces?
No we prevent them from doing war crimes by committing war crimes against them
Possibly the best analogy I have ever heard for anything. congrats No Name.
@@kieranmilner4208 you can't do a war crime, I'm the only one who can war crime

Just let him know that he needs to stay away from the Navy when they call general quarters...
@@CMDRSweeper Squiddie humor. ;-)
Remember warcrimes don’t exist if they’re not reported, therefore preventing warcrimes means preventing people from reporting it :bigbrain:
Remember: no witnesses.

To defeat the 506th, simply disable 3rd Person.

Excuse me I need you to look at this light
I had a warcrime counter going in the chat based off the Geneva Conventions protocols, I got to at least two Hague trips for the boys.
@@hammer-actual There are FOUR lights!
Excuse me, does this handkerchief smell like chloroform to you?
Except that the geneva convention only applies to civilians and uniformed combatants and both sides should be signatories of the geneva convention's.
This is gonna be a good op I can feel it
I love the timing of "let's go grab our vics" as Liru blows said vics up
Now this is the shit I was looking for. With the ai battling each other outside of view if thr players makes it feel almost conflict-(real)isttic.

Always love how much fuckery you do for the 506th lol, been loving the streams recently now that I've been able to catch them liru :)
Could have sworn I watched this one already
You either saw it live or on the VODS channel then
"Don't make any sudden movements, cause they have a tank"
Noted. Im just gonna slowly proceed to wee myself, but not suddenly or anything.
Its not a warcrime its denying the enemy potential recruits
the idea for a mercenary campaign just came to mind one where the players start with very basic weapons and slowly as the payments get bigger the jobs get darker and darker
This OP gives off 1994 Rwandan genocide vibes, from when the 22 United Nations Peacekeeping soldiers were killed.
" ok where is that" "um...." LMAO, also, that went bad quick.
i have never heard a commander say fucking so often lol
That's jester814 for ya lol
Oh no! Not War Craimes!!
'Everyone is scrambling to get off' - Giggity.
"Enjoy your stay"
can't wait for part 2 if that didn't happen already
"No, I never had any UN forces on your side" XD
Prevention of war crimes? Unacceptable.
Why does the IDAP logo look so much like the SHD Sigil from Division 2...
Geneva suggestion
"Swamp gas from a weather balloon"
I watched the VOD of it
I want to know what sound mods he uses cause those gunshots are nice.
I think the pilot kept getting out because he was still set to the 'get out' waypoint. ArmA logic

Holy shit, that was amazing to watch… much less *play*!
Tectonic plates xD not volcanoes. Though it could set them off i suppose.
Question how do you copy custom units ? Like with custom gear?
Ngl, that was probly the most convincing fake, if mixed with French, language I've heard. Well, apart from Klingon, but can't count that.

Isla Duala

Is it a video you can link? I'd love to see this mission from one of the player's perspectives.
always a problem with the c130 nah there is just always a problem
What sound mod do you use?
I remember idap from checkpoint rp with sorensic
Is it possible any one has the mod pack for the isla duala ops?

Ain't it a war crime to pose as humanitarian aid workers and then do this?
Not completely made up, at the end you said давай давай which is russian for let's go. Lol
