If you think you got saved because you "gave your heart to Jesus" , this is NOT the gospel that saves lost souls today, and I'm saddened that knowone has told you this word of truth already. Ephesians 2:8,9 makes it clear that salvation is NOT of yourself. Knowone is saved because they earned it, or worked for it in thier flesh. Inviting, asking, praying, confessing, kneeling, fill in the blank; none of the above wonn't save ANYONE today. We are saved by grace through FAITH alone, in Christ alone. Faith that what Jesus already accomplished on our behalf was good enough. What did he do? He died for all your sins. The gospel of Jesus christ is outlined at 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 king james version. Want to go to heaven? Believe how that Jesus died for our sins according to scripture, he was buried, and rose three days later according to scripture. That's it! Many people practice truth. The practice is not truth, only the understanding of the truth. If it is guided by holy spirit, people shall gain truth gradually. Holy Spirit is leading people differently based on their understanding of God and their essence. If the practice is not leading by Holy Spirit, but the evil ones, confusions and destructions will occur. It is helping people that reveal the wrong doing and how evil Spirit working according to each one and according to different spiritual life levels in details.

Daniel Thankyou so much for this teaching. I’ve been born again for many years and don’t belong to any church I belong to Jesus who teaches me all things. Through the years when I’ve spoken to people or friends and family and tried to explain to them they need to be born again and the difference being born in the spirit makes they’re first reaction is I’ve joined a cult or gone mad. I was raised a Catholic but ever since I was a little girl I’ve loved Jesus so much and felt him always around me . As I got older I I questioned so many things about that church and why everything is Mary . I had a thirst to read the Bible which I did and saw many things the Catholic Church was doing that goes against the word and o knew the word was God and the truth. I left the church and one night got on my knees repented of all my sins and gave my life to Jesus. I cried so hard that night and felt like my guts were coming out with the tears. Then I felt woozy and I heard the sound of a wind and saw what I thought was a seagull crash through my window. I felt so tired and got in bed and thinking Tommorrow Iam going to find a dead seagull in my room and a broken window but I was to wiped out to deal with it at that moment and fell asleep . Next morning I looked at the window it was fine and then the room no bird and I was in disbelieve I had no idea what happened. I called my mother and just told her I heard a wind and I saw a seagull crash through my window. I didn’t tell her I gave myself to Jesus . She asked me did you give your self to Jesus last night? I couldn’t believe she said that! I said yes how did you know she said that was the Holy Spiritand she read to me about mary and the apostles in the upper room. I said to her how did you know this she said because I gave myself to him too a month ago. Just me and my have . The rest of the family are Catholic still and we keep praying for them.
