I use my Sterling ink vertical weeks as an everyday carry. I have to have it with me. 😊 I am ADHD (focus) as well and had a significant concussion in 2017. I never was very good at being aware of time but much worse than pre concussion. I also have a Sterling ink N1 vertical but as an overall planner. I much prefer non-Hobonichi planners because the red and pink on the weekends drives me nuts - also, I prefer to find my own quotes. I love B6 as well (I like Hobonichi accessories though
@@annettefertitta6868 for the first 5 or 6 months of 2024 I used the N1V as my EDC! I can't imagine using the N2V - those columns seem so tight, but I know there are select people that think it's perfect 😄 I find even the N1V a bit too tight, though I think the N1 size is so perfect for lists and collections. I think I'll miss the size in that regard once I'm in the B6 Stalogy. So sorry to hear about the concussion. A friend of mine used to be a savant before hers 😥 I'm actually planning to do a video of Hobonichi vs SI Weeks, since I think my opinion is more neutral/nuanced than others I've seen.
@ I don’t go by the columns at all. I separate the page at about the 10:00 Am mark and put appointments (with times) or absolute to do. And separate the middle section into squares or rectangles for the individual days to record feelings and the bottom portion for anything else. (I can send you a photo of it.). I play around with the layout but always keep that appointment/todo list at the top (Bear in mind I am retired but work two to three days a week. (I’m an SLP) - I used to always have A5 when I worked full time
@annettefertitta6868 ahh I think most people call that a dashboard or nolty layout nowadays 😊 I think that worked for me prior years, but for some reason this year it's not at all. They're very clever and versatile! Unfortunately I am not working now - sometimes I feel my illness recovery has been a full time job though haha. Do you enjoy working part time in retirement? I think I'd find it comforting.
@ oh, I am so enjoying working part time! I get overwhelmed in any one setting (even at home) I am now truly enjoying what I do and the best part is when I leave for home the paperwork is finished (retired from the school setting - work is never done and caseloads are excruciatingly high). I now work in an inpatient rehabilitation facility with stroke patients and other neurological conditions people with cognitive deficits.
@@lovetome6867 I was pretty sure I didn't want any Hobonichi books this year, but I knew I had to figure out a way to include the Spy x Family collection on my lineup 😅 I changed my plans dozens of times, and definitely got the Daily in A5 instead of B6 just so it'd fit in the cover. Now I'm happy I got the A5 because it seems to be a perfect size, but my original motivation was very consumerist haha.
We are all different- I have to have a monthly and weekly layout. But I’m trying to get into using daily pages as well. I am trying the Twines and Paper hybrid planner (weeks size and B6) to try and develop that habit . But I will still keep a SI vertical N1
@@annettefertitta6868 I will be using the B6 blank grid booklet as my weekly helper (Alistair list, habit tracker, etc) plus the passport vertical for viewing my week at a glance! Otherwise I get too confused about what is coming up, and how I should organize my time. As it is now I actually feel that I have a gap in my system because I lack a big comprehensive weekly list, and I don't feel I can add one to one of the books without messing up the aspects that are currently working. I remember watching the video on the Twines and Paper hybrid - I thought it was a super cool concept! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts 🥰
@ I feel the same about dailies I’m missing something, but your idea of dividing the daily page into sections is great. It is helpful to me to categorize to dos as well - that’s why I have to also keep an N1 or B6 as well
@ I think I use the weeks size or B6 slim the for a similar purpose you use the passport. I’m unfamiliar with your autoimmune illness but have had two conditions attributed to autoimmune
I need to have all three- monthly, weekly, and daily! The monthly is for all appts and where to be; I don’t do digital. My weekly is a dashboard of where to be M-Su, calls/texts, emails, errands, and tasks which need to be done by the end of the week. The daily helps me focus on the day-to-day items I need to complete. I also have an hourly to keep me from guessing where the time goes 😅
Good job! Lots of good tips, looking forward to more videos!

@annettefertitta6868 sounds very fulfilling! I'm happy for you.
love the Forger family! I haven't done a hobonichi haul this year but you might have just convinced me to get some spy x family accessories!!
