And thus... she had to speedrun mourning. Yes, this is the cultural center of our city, not a greedy corporation or a short staffed shop.
I'm so sorry all of you went through that. That's awful. I work at a nonprofit and have for the past 7 years. I love it there. My grandmother was dying from cancer. I told my boss and he immediately said to do 'whatever I needed to'. I left the state for nearly a month. I was able to use sick and vacation time and I had plenty of both to spare. They let me decide day of if I wanted to work some hours remotely, but they coordinated things so I didn't have to unless I started to worry about how many hours. I was using. You can use sick time for mental health days and you get a few PTO days a year that's separate from sick or vacation. You can use the PTO time at a moment's notice without an explanation.

I had seen a mod or expansion where when you befriend Morris, you get some amazing cut scenes. He runs against Lewis for Mayor, and if he wins, the town does prosper even more. It's pretty cool!

I like Morris waaaay better than Pierre. Morris has just been sucked into corporate retail life. You keep joking about Walmart, but having worked for Walmart for 5 years, a lot of this rings true. He gets painted as evil for trying to get customers, but if this was real, he was probably under a lot of pressure from his boss to make this Joja Mart successful.
I’m amazed by this writing- genuinely as if it were straight out of stardew. And it actually had an impact on the story depending on the path!! I’d live to see more mods from this creator- or even better see this from ConcernedApe.

Same honestly. I did the quest where I got an amethyst for him for Emily. I was kinda annoyed that he felt that I should say he had all the credit and yet he can’t even hand the thing to her. I’m glad Emily thanked me instead and ignored when I said it was Clint, I hate him so much!
Whoever created the mod is a great writer, this was really sweet and well made and still felt like it made sense and fit the character of what we seen of Morris in the plain game

I'm guilty of have searched for this mod when it was in the works and monitoring it until it came out... I'm in love with Morris. Before the mod. After the mod. I saw the Joja people saved me when I passed out, and I imagined Morris saving me. I fell in love that day. Ever since then I've loved him.
