Consider developing aspects of the self such as; masculine & feminine, dark and light etc. Carl Jung might be a good start and appeal to you but if not there are countless other resources that can help guide you. Be open to taking an honest hard look at yourself for that is where the answer lies. For instance, when you make a statement about being more alone than a dog you have manifested that into your reality.
