Short and sweet but full of detail and passion! Thank you Andrew for this fascinating interlude from the A1. You just never know what opportunities there are until you explore. Great shots!
Fantastic video and some stunning images. I don’t remember having previously seen any images taken there. I particularly like the view with the elegant concrete bridge in the foreground.
Many thanks Simon, the old concrete A1 bridge does make a super bit of foreground interest, its not a spot I’d seen photographed either, not much on Flickr too.
Spot on, I drove past the power station a couple of times, with better weather there’d be some great photo opportunities to include the power station and coast.
Good video Andrew, you obviously have an eye for spotting items of interest on a map. Hope the hols were good and as you may have seen I made Woodlesford for 3 minutes. Regards Peter
Andrew, so pleased you told us that you are passionate about railway photography - we would never have guessed!!!! As ever, a great escape from all this political crap. Well done.

Many thanks, that old A1 bridge is quite a structure.
Great video, imagine the autumnal colours with a bit of morning sun aswell.
Thanks Rob, do you know that's what I was thinking, I was hoping the sun would break through the murk, but no joy.

Many thanks, Steve, glad I stopped, its so easy to just drive by, there were numerous spots along this line that would make a great phot opportunity.

Another brilliant video! Amazing find there, and some luck with that puddle at the end.

Many thanks Peter, I've not seen your Woodlesford trip, where have you posted the image?
I sent an email on the 19th.... I literally had 30 seconds to visit on the way to St Aidans and various other places around Leeds
Excellent stuff, are we getting some Scottish freight and even a 37 as you go North?
Many thanks Mark, I cant promise Class 37's but there could be a Highland freight at some point coming up.
Great video.... but are you allowed to just stand on the side of the A1 🤣
Thanks Emma, Who knows? although it did feel a little precarious at times, it must have been OK though because Sharon was fairly relaxed.
Lovely video mate, would love to collab one day
Many thanks, I'm sure we'll bump into each other at some point.
@@AndrewShenton hope we do mate, have a lovely day
