he has been though pretty ignorant on highlighting the "40 million people" Genghis Khan killed... when he did not even know that he invented passports, so that is why the airport is named after the Mongolian conquerer... i mean great footage but man.. south park material, WITH ALL RESPECT. Peace from Italy

He embarrassed the host asking about 40M victims of Genghis Khan... before 800 years when war crimes isn't even a thing for humans. I'd like to argue his hypocrisy and ask him about George W Bush and his war crimes and why he was recently brought to a superbowl and he was celebrating with Americans instead of putting him to trial especially happened in the 21st century where USA claims it leads the civilized free world. Not to mention how America and Australia had 0 white population 800 years ago and we all know how they became overwhelming majorities.
But the host was so kind .. but gave a stupid answer tho

Out of all the food I've seen on these food channels I think Mongolian food is the most intensely different just in creativity with how they cook things. Completely normal ingredients cooked in a way I've never seen. Not only am I curious to try it I am also curious about the history and learning how they invented these methods in depth. Great series!

Just bread and a sweetner. Just as French toast is claimed to be the first recipe, in whatever name for each culture. Stale bread with eggs. The cinnamon or nutmeg is an added thing later in time. Almost all cultures have a form of that as well.

I’ve lost over 100 lbs recently and man this show makes me want to try so many new vegetables and meats. The amount of fresh herbs and greens all these different cultures use is so mind blowing. The standard American diet uses hardly any! What? Lettuces for salad and then some fresh rosemary or thyme in fancy dishes? And I don’t even use that because one sprig of fresh thyme is like $4!! Crazy! I’ve got to start a garden just so I can try all the different herbs and greens. I really just need to win the lottery so I can travel and show my kids the world lol.

What’s lovely is that the goat “Bag” looks like a huge Haggis. Being Scottish, it looks quite delicious- I also have no problems eating such well cooked goat. If women were involved I suspect there would be more herbs, spices etc. It is such a “male” meaty dish! No seasonings ,no veggies. Roar! I also love that they turned milk into alcohol - and a kind of cheese as a byproduct… a complete party! I would love to visit Mongolia, but I’m such a lightweight, I’d probably be dead in a week from a tick bite. The place looks stunning. So beautiful and truly unspoiled. I hope the Mongolians continue their life as long as they can and want.😊😊😊 what’s interesting is that we live in a little town in NZ, in the next town over there’s a Mongolian Restaurant- so I’ve eaten some Mongolian type food.

I can't get over how chill mongolians are especially considering their history.

I used to know someome from Mongolia years ago and have always been intrigued by the Mongolian culture ever since. The food looks really gooood but never got the chance to try it tho since idk where to find any halal version of it here in Malaysia :')

Wow, I did not know even Mongalians have Kaymak. It is spread from Mongolia to Serbia. But yet again, it is not surprising since Turkic and Mongolian Tribes are really close. We also call the biggest tent "Yurt", which also means motherland. Thank you very much for this video!

*21st century Mongolian living in diaspora* is very humble in attitude, yet very educative, if asked.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! I’ve been binging it for days lol and have been watching for years. I absolutely love learning about other cultures and am so envious of people who actually have traditions and customs. I’m just a boring white woman lol. I hope to one day have the money to even travel outside of my state and try different foods and experience different ways of life. THANK YOU for making these videos! You’re not just another youtuber doing salacious things for views. I can tell you actually respect the people and their culture and even though we see the looks you give when something is really gross lol you still are super respectful. I just watched the Egypt series and my God it really made me think about what you endure with each trip for days just to make one video. Anyway! Great team! Great editing! You are SO EFFING FUNNY omg it takes a lot to make me laugh and I literally laugh out loud watching your videos. God I hope you never stop! I’ll watch you into your eighties!

I know its a harder way of life, but its also such a simpler way of life. I find myself getting jealous of that as a westerner watching these videos. Btw Ulan Bataar translates to Red Warrior, which is kind of neat.

I have to say this is one of the best episodes of this channel. Utterly fascinating. There seem to be echoes of Northern European cooking with regard to some of the preservation techniques (blood sausage, and meat preserved in its own jelly), and some echoes of First Nation foods (pemmican). Wow.
