This is the reason I enjoy your channel. Nobody gets it right all the time. This is a movie I have seen many times. Good on you for your honesty, and strength of character to leave it unedited 👍🍻
It took ages to find a ticking noise when Turning ing left on an old Toyota I had some years back. It was the end of a metal wiring clip catching on a prop shaft UJ. Two seconds to cure, a week to find!
...Coming back from my testdrive I noticed... and it's fixed so another testdrive.. Oh no! it wasn't what I thought it was.. fixed! another testdrive! hmm I need to go get fuel so another testdrive IN MY PORSCHE! hahaha keep up the good work! It isn't fixed 'til you've broken it again!
AhHa! This was a case of one trouble hiding another one. You fixed the first and now to take care of the other one. Glad to hear the Porsche has been behaving nicely otherwise.
the clip at 13:13 you can see the left hand CV joint rubber gaiter jerk outwards at the point the clunk is heard - it’s like it’s internal bearings are riding up on a wear groove and thumping the half shaft against the rear hub as the shaft starts to turn from stationary. once moving the CV joint bearings are positioned differently due to the torque reaction, then when you slow down and stop the bearings fall back into the worn groove.
Good idea to put the camera under the car it looks like you have found the problem. My Ford Puma 1.7 is 125bhp same as your Porsche and it goes like a little rocket.
Lidl in the UK is awash with tools to use on the car - not sure about quality but I don't recall anywhere else I can buy a lathe, a plasma cutter and some cheese within a one metre radius lol
Hej SeasideGarage. Denne Porsche 924 (eller 944) ser godt ud; det ser næsten ud som om det lige er kommet fra fabrikken! Det gjorde du glimrende. Og den gule maling passer perfekt til dette køretøj. Hilsen fra København. 🇩🇰
God that’s so annoying Seppo but those kind of niggle type noises often are hard to find and yes I really thought it sounded like an exhaust bump noise too 😟, maybe just drive with ear pods in ears at a high volume 😂.

Yep that’ll be it👍🏼 I’m guessing the circlip is broken? Would this allow the driveshaft to slide in the splines?

When problems get fixed, except the one you're looking for, always an annoying situation... :P
Exactly what I needed, when I needed it

Old cars. They’re always working up a better problem. But it’s very pretty.
Great video again Seppo.. Hope I can show you my Rover P6 one day.. (Phil - UK)
A haircut and beard trim, new for you Porche and I get 3 drive's in your Porche. I'm smiling nearly as much as you. I like you owning a Porche.
Thanks for the videos. =)

Nice Seppo. I want to see you wearing eye protection underneath that car though!!

These VW axleshafts give me nightmares 😀
You may have found the culprit!
Check if there isn't something loose in the boot as well, just in case...
@4:40 I would have failed that drum under "brake component in dangerous condition" on an MOT
Yea... its hard to see at a mot... the wheels are not removed... But I am very happy to have changed them.. they where worse then I thought....
What is the model of the blue lift you are using? I assume it is electrically operated,do you require any extra equipment to make it work?
Probably worth swapping drums if cracked and letting in a lot of contamination as cheap as chips from Autodoc. Love your content 🫡

Can a broken circlip or clips cause this sideways movement?
You found other problems that needed fixing but not THE problem.
👍
'window wiper wont park' - probably the Wiper relay
3:20 Did you have a haircut to make your Porsche go faster? 😂
Is that grease on the top on the right?
I have to say the wing repair looks fantastic by the way...
