    Little tip make sure all the plugs on the fuse board are tight as the do come loose and cause endless problems

    This gave me hope that this would be a quick job.Sadly my 2011 left hand drive isn't exactly the same design, bit of a faff to figure out how to get that one done. I would have liked to give the design engineers a bit of a slap for putting a service item in such a awkward spot. And that sharp edged fuse box bracket is hungry for creating some shorts.

    • @PiggyPower
      @PiggyPower  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      To be fair... It's pretty easy as cabin filters go. Some take professionals an hour, which is just plain stupid for a service item.

      @@PiggyPower My issue turned out to be that I was barking up the wrong tree. My filter was accessed through the drivers side. I saw a similar panel as on your video on the passenger side and erroneously thought that it was a design change gone wrong. It wasn't that bad when I found the right spot. Had to bolt off the accelerator pedal and may have mangled the filter a bit on the way in as it was still not great access, but quite doable. With some experience and access to a lift I can imagine it being a very quick affair with no need to act like a contortionist.

    • @PiggyPower
      @PiggyPower  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@thedolenorway ahh yeah that happens with L/R hand drive vehicles. Sometimes they switch the access, but often they don't so sadly some get the pedals in the way

    Why use a Crosland filter? Maybe it is just me, but I have had some very bad experiences with Crosland filters, and now I only ever use Bosch or Mann filters.

    • @PiggyPower
      @PiggyPower  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Customer budget. I also have had zero bad experiences with a crossland cabin filter. What bad experiences may I ask have you had with crossland cabin filters? 🤔😀

    • @LukeyD88
      @LukeyD88 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PiggyPower thanks for the reply ☺️ the experiences I’ve had with Crosland filters, not all of them, but a majority, is that they don’t always fit correctly or have had poor quality control carried out. Having said that, I have also experienced this with Bosch and Mann filters, but on a significantly lower scale. And when you purchase a filter from the dealer, and see the Mann or Bosch logo, that reassures me that the filters are of good quality. One experience I had was with the R56 Mini Cooper oil filters not sitting correctly and poor quality seals.

    • @PiggyPower
      @PiggyPower  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When it comes to fuel and oil filtration I wouldn't use anything but Mann or Bosch usually.

    Это на праворукой только блок предохранителей снять надо а у тех что руль с лева надо педаль газа снимать чтобы салонный фильтр заменить

    Takes 2 min to change and you don't have to remove as much as you did

    • @PiggyPower

      Ok, why did you watch the video then??

    • @PiggyPower
      @PiggyPower  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm also curious how you do it, as there is no way to get a new filter in there with the fuse box and bracket in place without damaging the new filter. . . I'd also state it IS a 2min job. But takes a lot longer to video and explain a 2min job, than the 2min it takes to do it.

    • @cheekychappy39
      @cheekychappy39 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I found it useful for location purposes but just above the entrance to the filter hole there is a wire which you can raise out of the way fairly easily and the filter goes in without any damage.... good informative video though 👍
