Just in case people don’t remember. Mark is Taiwanese-American and was trained as the group’s rapper using a 3rd language that he learnt in 2 years! His official position was martial arts performer and visual of group. He was NEVER trained to sing. EVER. Or given a unit or solo opportunity (instead all his solo requests sabotaged and denied) to grow and develop in all 7 years of Got7. So this is mindblowing!

i’m ngl, JYP did him so dirty by placing him in a rap position when he has vocals like this. don’t get me wrong, his raps were fire- but every time he was given the chance to do a solo song when he was in got7, he gave us vocals that slapped. now he’s doing songs like this that are so beautiful, with no raps, just his lovely vocals. It’s like we finally get to see the real him and i’m even more in love than i was before 💕

@@w__xy_z he was never even allowed to release solo singles or anything despite him asking to release stuff in China and Thailand at least to thank his many dedicated fans. Thai fans said he and Bambam wanted a unit like jus2. They even wrote a few songs for it but jyp denied it. Instead they forced them to go and do a variety show called go Thai and take the remaining members with them when they just wanted an MTBB unit like jus2. The xenophobia in jyp towards foreigners was so intense.
