  • At the weekend I was fortunate enough to get a few hours on the 2023 Street Triple 765 RS, the test ride was arranged through A1 Moto Triumph in York.
Unfortunately I lost around 40 minutes of footage, and this was the better stuff so I do apologise.
Links below to A1 Moto, its a brilliant dealership with amazing staff and a great atmosphere!

Got mine about three weeks ago in the cosmic yellow. It’s replaced a 2020 street triple RS.
Things I’ve noticed so far… Brakes are on another level… feel and stopping power!!! One finger braking. Extra power is noticeable. Longer first gear helps at slower speed and getaways without an early change but then it’s shorter in the rest of the box so acceleration feels better.
Had my first real blast on some decent roads last weekend and the handling seems a bit pointier, I mean the old one was amazing but this is just another little jump up.
Colour is fantastic, glad triumph have gone back to some more out there options, the 2020 RS colours were a bit boring.

yeah same here. I would get the R which is cheaper but it doesn't come in this color. Guess I gotta pay an extra $3K for the RS

Great stuff subscribed and liked. I've got the striple r 2012 and I love it so far. I've had all the blades and r1s and gsxr srad but I'm in my 60th year now so the 675 is more than enough for me and it is 1 owner in black with gold wheels which looks like new

I got my RS last week, it's my third consecutive street triple and by far the best but what swung it for me was the colour (cosmic yellow).

Was your previous street triple an RS? How does the new one compare?

    • @yonniboy1
      @yonniboy1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@albertsadventures2015 Yes it was an RS, I'm finding it a big jump in power, the acceleration in particular because of them shortening the gearing, also the styling's improved but as I said IMO the new colour schemes are 100% better.

Very nice review, clean, good audio and camera quality. The RS is such a machine, I probably was thinking about the R. If I may, I would recommend putting timestamps, makes easier to track the video. Thanks.

Thank you for the great feed back, I feel given the equipment standard across the range it’s mostly just an aesthetics difference which has no input on the ride.
Thanks, trying to get back into the swing of these, will work back through the upload and add them to assist.
      Thanks again!

I used to dislike the sporty position on bikes - being over the front wheel and seeing nothing ahead - until I got an adventure type bike. I found the lack of engagement and feel on that too much. So, I'm a convert to sportiness. The only criticism I have with the RS, is the dismal clock. Oh, and that the R isn't more road suited, with more torque at lower revs. The R was always much better than the RS as a road bike. The yellow and red are exceptional, however.

  • @Banditmanuk

The Street Triple has always been a great bike, wife rides the 675. For me, they are a bit too compact for big people, but that motor is all you need for road riding

Took both for a ride recently. The only positive with the 09SP is the low down grunt but the RS isn't that far behind with 130HP. However I felt the RS was a better bike overall and it beat the 09SP in every other area. It's quite a bike.
