Two reasons why I think this podcast was so wrong: 1) From men's side there was nothing backed by Quran or Sunnah to validate points. Everything was based on what they think. 2) In the debate two brothers was talking about marriage, but they are really not good husband (They actually exposed themselves in the debate). So technically they r not qualified for debate. The debate should happen between knowledgeable and intelligent people.
True, when the Quran and the Sunnah is the judge of your character and your behaviour in your marriage then disputes are solved easily. These people were talking based on their feelings and temperaments.
They are openly giving their own opinions. If we want to refer to the Quran and Sunnah then we can go to scholars. Muslims are in the end ordinary people with ordinary problems. Most of the solutions they are looking for aren't in the Quran.

If I used translate I might get something that word for word translates to the same thing as the original English text, but, most likely no native speaker would actually say it like that and if you translated the original proverb into English you would get something that doesn’t make much sense.

As someone who has followed Alis content for 7 years+ I'd like to say there's little doubt that any of these horrible accusations are true. Two reasons why I think this podcast was so wrong:
1) From men's side there was nothing backed by Quran or Sunnah to validate points. Everything was based on what they think.
2) In the debate two brothers was talking about marriage, but they are really not good husband (They actually exposed themselves in the debate). So technically they r not qualified for debate. The debate should happen between knowledgeable and intelligent people.
True, when the Quran and the Sunnah is the judge of your character and your behaviour in your marriage then disputes are solved easily. These people were talking based on their feelings and temperaments.
They are openly giving their own opinions. If we want to refer to the Quran and Sunnah then we can go to scholars. Muslims are in the end ordinary people with ordinary problems. Most of the solutions they are looking for aren't in the Quran.
