Hi, I'm in 9th grade too. I'm just hope I can sleep for 7 hours at night :'))) Just because sleep is very important for your memory, i think if you sleep early and then get up early to study, you will tend to better at calculator subject ^^ Good night ❤😊
I'm a third year Economics student and what I've learned so far are; 1. Your highschool history has nothing to do with your current university progress. Don't let your bad highschool grades make you feel like your current university grades will be the same. My math grades were so bad in highschool but now, I've only gotten straight As and A+es in all my math subjects. 2. Do what works for you. Seeing how hard others work can make you feel like you're not doing anything. Some study for six hours straight and your brain just can't keep up with that. Find study methods that work for you and stick to them no matter how other people are studying. And remember, what matters isn't the hours you've studied but what you actually remember/understand. 3. Don't always listen to people who try to scare you that a subject is "too hard" or "so many people fail this course". Just focus on yourself and keep yourself positive even if the subject is genuinely difficult. Don't inherit someone's fear when there are also people who did well in that same subject. 4. Don't panic. Take deep breaths. Drink some tea or something and REST. Resting is also part of staying on top of your game! You need to rejuvenate yourself and do what makes you happy. 5. Affirmations. Be kind to yourself and remember that you're a boss and you've got this (even though it doesn't look that way sometimes)‼️♥️
Little note for skipping classes, check the policies for attendance at your school. Some Uni's will take away scholarships if you miss certain classes or a certain amout of time in a class! [I know it's late but I'm in grade 11, and I'm graduating in 2025 🎉]

yr11 (like literally two weeks away from yr12) and i have a tip for improving time management on tests! step one: figure out how much time you have been allocated per mark (ie: i know that for one of my classes, we are given 1.5 minutes per mark) step two: instead of doing entire practice tests/exams under timed conditions, do certain questions under timed conditions, to get used to writing (for example) a 5 marker in 7.5 minutes. once that timer goes off, stop immediately. step three: work out what you got wrong/didn't get down in that question, and work out what (if anything) you wrote that was unneccessary. step four: repeat the question under timed conditions until you are able to do it completely in the allocated time! this a) helps with being able to work faster in tests, and b) gives you a feel for how much time you should be spending on each question in a test.
I am junior in high school and taking physics as class is just so devasting for me ...I loved how these tips bring us back to reality and tell that BEING DELULU IS NOT ALWAYS THE SOLULU ..thank so much tonianne for these tips ..
im also going to take the your last tip into consideration because,, I tend to have a negative mindset and keep telling myself that "I'm not good in this class" or "I'll probably fail this test or exam" so I'll definitely will be saying affirmations in the morning to think positive everyday and hopefully I can do well in my classes so I can pass and won't have to retake them again!! and will also take naps because my schedule is pretty spaced out almost every other day
3:57 I want to add that writing down your notes ACTUALLY helps but more than ever when you’re writing them down using *active recall* instead of just copying a text from beginning to end. If you don’t engage actively your brain while taking your notes, adding your own thoughts and opinions to what the teachers explain to have it as something that can take you back to when you learned, how do you expect your brain to understand and retain it for an exam?
I use writing to memorize stuff, forcing myself to remember what was teached to me and then writing it down, marking the parts I got it wrong and then erasing it and writing it again, like that for a lot of times, it helps memorize everything I swear to godddd
Tip #9 was actually really helpful for me bc as a junior in high school taking Physics right now which a teacher who barely spends like 10 mins lecturing, I feel like I have to spend extra time outside of class trying to understand what we’re learning
I don’t know how helpful this is but something I tell myself when I’m really struggling in a class/assignment is that I can achieve anything if I want it enough. Like if I failed a test it’s not because I wasn’t smart enough or I couldn’t do it, but because I didn’t want it enough and didn’t work hard enough for it. It puts me in a growth mindset and it’s really crazy what you can achieve when you believe nothings impossible
I'm currently in my second year of college and I did badly in my first year so I'm currently trying to build my confidence in my ability to get a better GPA. But I can't give up now. I'm looking forward to using your study tips and thank you for the informative video 😊
Hello Tonianne, thank you for the advice! I'm in 12th grade and I am STRUGGLING. With all the essays, college applications, and just quiezzes and exams we have to do I now see just how bad I am at time management and have found this video really helpful and liked listening to you. Please send me your good energy!
I am a 9th grade student who is having difficulty managing study time and self-management. You gave us many valuable tips in this video and tysm for those. I'm really looking forward for more study contents on your channel
for the affirmations: if you're like me and don't have the patience or time to do them, or maybe you feel cringe doing them, a great alternative is ASMR videos of affirmations rlas you fall asleep. I eneded up memorizing them and incorporating them. By listening to the same audio every night, I convinced myself of the things it was saying!
I am in 12th grade and my first semester started pretty well, I was doing well, didn’t need much hours of studies, but as time went by, the more we kept learning, the hardest it was getting for me to understand contents quickly and, the more complicated it was to have good time management. I would always be burned out, did nothing out of my life other than studying, I was sleep deprived, would cry and beg for a week of rest, then my grades started to plummet, I would barely do my assignments, and would laugh at it, I was really letting myself go out of tiredness and hopelessness. Now I stopped school in mid December for a surgery so I won’t do my finals. I am not going back until February and honestly I am trying to build myself back and to get as much tips as possible to deal with my biggest issue ✨Time management✨. Your tips were really helpful and I am very grateful for this video as well. I am trying to gather as much information to create the “perfect routine” or I would say the “attainable routine” to still have my full hours of sleep and yet still do well and do my assignments in advance to not stress last minute. Also about the note taking thank you so much! I’ve always been note taking on a paper and then re-write them on my IPad once I get home but it is so time consuming and actually takes on my sleeping time. So I’ll try to do less notes taking and more listening, although I do listen in class which I think is what helps me mostly in class. Thank you again for these tips and I am looking forward to using them once I got back to school!
I’m a freshman and this past three quarters I always get all A’s (and A-) with the exception of two B’s without fail in math and AP Geography and I’m really for a change. Obviously these aren’t horrible life ruining grades, but I would love to turn the rest of my high school carrer around and get a 4.0. Mostly because a lot of my friends are acedemic weapons and I feel inspired 😂
I'm a freshman in college trying to achieve a psychology major. This really helped me out coming from a perspective of another college student because sometimes I feel like I had tried multiple methods that doesn't really help me out. My college require students a part-time job which drags out student needs and success throughout their academic side but those tips you recommended made me change my perspectives on time management, and focus on different priorities so all I wanted to say is that thank you for your tips and support, I really appreciate your way of reaching people out in case they need any advices for a balance between academic life and your own life as well.
I’m in grade 5 and my grades are already 85% up, I really thank you Tonia now I know how to manage my time and still be an academic weapon while having a social life
I'm in my first year of college, graphic design and it's a 2 year program, and I'm having a lot of trouble with piling assignments, we didn't have near as many in highschool and I can't find the will to start when I have such a big load of work. Thank you for the advice, nice video and keep going!💕
I’m in year 9 and am homeschooled for a bit because of how burnt out I am, I really want to bounce back and do way better though. Thank you for this, even if it’s late.
I'm a 1st year uni student, majoring in geography and environment, since we have a lot of both practical and theoretical courses each semester, I feel overwhelmed at times and lose motivation. I'm also facing the same time management problem in exams, so I'm gonna focus on that now, thank you tonianne < 3
I'm not even a month into my junior year of high school and I was already feeling so burned out, this really helped me refrain my mindset, especially what you said in the outro ♡
I am 2 semesters away from finishing premed and then will be applying for medical school. I have felt so guilty for not doing the reading in physiology and am so glad that I'm not the only one that just reads the chapter end summary (or skims the chapter). I 1000% recommend quizlet with their new AI features. I was really struggling with physiology this semester but the AI learning mode was a gamechanger.
10th Grade/Year 11, GCSE year Personal Tip: Find study time intervals that personally suit you the best. Personally, Pomodoro technique doesn't really work for me since in 1 Pomodoro (25m) , I'd get minimal work done, mainly because I write considerably slow lmao. Once you find YOUR personal study/break interval period, you'll be good to go. Also I'd recommend getting snacks whilst studying, for that energy/mood boost. Roasted almonds/berries have been a game changer for me.
Same Bruv i literally write really slow to like even if i dedicate first 25 min solely for studying maths i I always end up only solving 3-4 maths problems and that really sucks cuz its like studying takes up whole day for me and i I don't get time to do anything and at the end of the day i literally just think i didn't do anything productive all day
great tips, i do have to chime in and say that getting snacks while studying can be dangerous too bc i used to just snack instead of study 😭 so just be careful everyone 😩
This is true 😂, feeling full from snacking makes you sleepy/fatigued, though I try to get light, refreshing snacks that'll keep me satiated like berries, rather than sickly full. But yea, in the end of the day anything in excess isn't healthy, so moderation is key!
LOL so true with skipping classes… some just don’t really matter or a waste of your time… When being productive, you rlly have to know which to prioritize so your actions are fruitful (aka product-ive): going to a useless class or 3 sessions of deep focus unfortunately, attendance is a big part of my classes… fortunately, my classes are just around 20 hours a week
3rd year college student in languages and honestly I'll come back to your video to remind myself of these tips. I really want to get better at studying and get better grades and for once these tips seem actually doable. Thanks for the video!
I'm currently in my 2nd half of 11th grade in high school, and I did really badly in the 1st half because there were so many things to keep-up in comparison to last year. Thank you for the tips and I'm looking forward to trying to use them.
Here's the thing about tip 6, my teacher NEVER tells us what to do or study for before the exam. they just say to revise the thing we have learned so it's a bit difficult to study cause you never know what the test questions are going to be 😭
I just started second year in comp. science engineering and one thing i've found helpful is the active recall. It helps beat the forgetting curve and info is easy to come to mind!
What I find helps for me is rewards. I have a thing of M&M's an, say I study 3 units that day, I eat an M&M after every unit studied. It gives me motivation and helps me want to do something and to do it right because I want to get everything down before I eat that M&M so it doesn't feel like cheating. Maybe this can help some of you, maybe this is just my brain being weird, but I hope it can help!
Hey, all helpful tips! I'm a freshman in college and am struggling to complete my assignments on time and without burning out. Your video made me realize that I've been saving the hardest assignment for last which led me to having no break in between the units. Imma try completing the hardest assignment first this time and see how it feels. Thanks!
i’m in middle school and I like to watch these because I think it’s important to start habits related to learning early c: thanks for you content 😁 edit: about the handwriting the work again yourself tip, I think it depends on who you are because that works a lot for me as I have to recall the information to be able to write it down (because I don’t directly copy) and (if i write the wrong thing THEN i’ll look at the notes and fix them) :D
Hii im a freshman taking Chemistry!! Honestly, I am having a hard time with my courses to the point that I failed one of them. Although I am trying my best to cope, it is so hard that burnouts occur mostly. Your videos are really helpful, looking forward to your next videos!!
I live in PH, btw. I'm a senior in high school, and I couldn't agree more of what you said that, "taking a nap is vv important" looking back to my junior year-self, I always choose to sacrifies my sleep to study all night and to finish my research paper and it was unhealthy to the point almost everyday I went late at school because I sleep for like only 2-3 hours every single day. Anw, tomorrow our final term will finally start and I know that it'll be much harder than my last a.y, since I have to finish my research papers for my chapter 4-5 and lots of revision to do, I also have to prepare for my final defense this december, i think. So, for those seniors out there, we can do this!
Im in 10th grade of high-school and I struggle with having good Grades and this video caught my eye, thank you for the tips and help. Trust me when I say it really helped
going into grade 10! my lowest grade was an 82 last year in hairstyling, and my highest was a 98 in english. im gonna work harder this year to try and get all of my classes (instead of 6/8) into the 90%'s! thank you so much for ur tips ive been binging these vids fr
omg i didn’t know u started a youtube channel ! i love ur testing high protein low cal series on tiktok since they help me decide whether or not i should try a recipe or not. i’m currently a freshman in college and find that the transition to from hs to college is so tough 😭 i fr needed this video so thank u !
I've been watching a lot of school tip videos recently and I really loved this video! I'm going into my junior year of high school and I am a HEAVY procrastinator. I'm trying to break out of that habit so watching these types of videos really help and inspire me to do better. I'm also in 3 extracurriculars this year so I'm definitely going to need to be on top of everything. 😅
my junior was terrible. I was never good at retaining information due to constant "studying" late at night and stressing about upcoming tests and assignments and just being really distracted. my lowest grade was only a C but i was so devasted that it had even gotten to that point (ap bio, man). going into my senior year i'm a little nervous abt taking the act and sat for the final time and begining my college apps. tysm for the quick video, i hope i'll actually do some of them!!!!!
I have horrible focus and motivation issues. I’ve recently gotten tested for ADHD, but my results haven’t come in yet, so I can’t really say for sure if I have it. I just started highschool about 2 months ago and schoolwork has been harder than ever. I’ve always had trouble maintaining grades since around late elementary; I think that’s when I got my first D. But things have just progressed to be worse over time. I can manage to bring my gpa to at least a 3.0, but the I get unreasonably burned out super fast, and it drops down to a 2.0 or 1.0 average. This is especially hard to let happen when my parents are on the stricter side, and not necessarily the best parents out there. I’m trying to work up for a job so I can save up money to move out soon; but I can’t really do that with low grades, lack of focus, motivation, and intense burnout. What people confuse is they think I just don’t care about my grades or important tasks- I care too much about them- it’s just all so hard trying to prioritize all of them, especially when it takes me hours to complete one task. Im watching this video to maybe get some useful tips to help me out, so thank you so much for uploading this!

Honestly, I'm an 8th grade student and I'm trying to just get better grades in general. The start of the school year just passed and I've already noticed my slacking. Motivation isn't that big of a problem to me but I just strive for those 100's. I'm noticing more of a drop in my grades even though it's not major. I hope you post more videos like this and honestly? You're an inspiration. I'll study smarter for those grades 💪!
Writing from india Its a good content video :-) I've completed my schoolings and uni by 2021 Preparing for indian civil services Its kind of toughest in world i guess, Anyways, some tips really self assured me, as im doing tge same with self doubts
I'm yr12 but in Germany. Sometimes what we do here would qualify as uni level in other countries and since I only arrived in the country less than 4 years ago, I'm still struggling a lot with german (other subjects are fine or even really good most of the time). My tip would be that if a subject requires just too much energy and time and your grades do not necessarily improve than just do the bare minimum to at least pass. You can use your time on improving other subjects in which you have difficulties but know you can actually improve. Don't feel bad about it. I used to feel really bad about german and study for hours for it. At some point I stopped caring and my grades didn't even really drop (I was really just wasting my time) but other subjects got a lot better :)
I’m in my junior year of highschool and I just transferred from the other side of the country I’m in advanced chem, ap language, and ap human geography, so I really needed this
I love, love, LOVE your style of editing! So many videos about studying just say the same tips and tricks over and over. This actually has interesting things I hadn’t considered before. Thank you!
hii! i found your video super helpful and ive been using a lot of your tips this year! im a highschool freshman but im in a program where i start my college courses earlier so managing both at the same time has been really tough. recently, ive been developing a schedule to keep myself in check and its improved both my grades and mental health a lot!
year 9 high school student-in assessments work out how much time u need. so if i had to write 2 paragraphs and answer 10 multiple answer questions-and i had 30 minutes to do it; decide how much time you need to spend on each activity. i’m pretty quick a the multiple choice questions-so i spend 10-15 mins for them and then the rest of the time on the paragraphs. it’s different for everyone xx
I did learn that if you need to study for an exam for the same class you need to skip just go ahead and skip to study. It pays off so much in the long run
Comment what grade / year of school you’re in, as well as any of your own personal tips that help you get As! Again tysm for watching and I hope you have an amazing day 🫶
9th grade i really love all these tips you gave .The #1 thing that helped me so far is using your apple calendar for all assignments, tests, and homework!
I agree❤, MindMapping, Drawing out concepts on IPad or an app I use call Notability. I was three years in about chemistry and the way I study was just reading. I failed everything. Now in marketing working on learning tech, I literally just read and thinking if I understand a concept, but what she’s talking about is a concept called mind mapping where you’re drawing out what connect what yes you would need to know the details definition, but if you understand, one affects the other affects the other is easier to grab the concept and that goes along with learning and tech learning and marketing mind mapping whiteboards investment iPad that I’m going to get one to an app that you can use on your phone. It’s called Notability. I just downloaded that and that’s good too.
hi! i’m a freshman in highschool, and i guess i’ve always been a “gifted kid” (straight A student, academic awards as wallpaper, the works) but the workload has TRIPLED in hs, and so has my burnout lol. This video was really helpful though and i will definitely be getting off of my bed. My desk’s break is OVER.
ur content is actl so good?? its all the things that i’ve been trying to gatekeep/achieve its crazy. pls make more vids on how to study well & be more productive!!
I have dropped out of college twice and now I am coming back for the third time(third time works like a charm hopefully as I really want to get a degree) but the thing is I cannot stay awake and pull all nighters.I tried everything but I still fall asleep and need to sleep at least 8 hours to work throughout the day. I used to sleep 9 hours a day before school and I have been eating healthy and complementing with supplements and vitamins and checked with doctors to know if it was a disorder but apparently I am fine on that aspect (which is good?). Some people say it's just genetics since I've always needed more sleep than the rest of my family. Hopefully this time I can do better and be able to apply time management better as well.
I’m a freshman in economic science! Thank you for sharing your tips, somehow it makes me relieved to know that it’s better to assess whether or not you need it for yourself rather than listening to other people that tell you just how much it is and how much they’ll have to study for it. I was the type to heavily procrastinate in high school and I’m hoping to change that soon so I’m not as stressed out anymore! :)
7th grade not really struggling just enjoy learning new study hacks cuz i wanna get into phsycology when im older and also sometimes i cant remember things very well and i cant stop procastinating
I am a year 8 student who has been offered a potential scholarship for after school to go into university after high school. (Idk much other info😅) but getting good grades is helpful with this and this video is helping a lot so far❤ tysm😊🎉
Yr 11 and my second semester is going to be one of my hardest one out of my sems in hs because I’m switching from applied/college to academics and it’s science focused so everything is gonna be hell but this is most likely gonna help me so thank you!!!
handwriting notes and periodic review always helped me.. also, taking turns 'teaching' your other classmates is a good measure of your understanding of what you're studying. personally, though.. i think school is a waste of time because theoretical knowledge without practical application is backwards in my opinion. it makes more sense to teach someone 'on the job' than in an abstract vacuum where they don't know what or the why of what they're actually doing. if you want to teach someone about angles you should take them to a construction site first or maybe to a makeup artist for the girls so they can understand how to calculate the optimum degree for their winged eyeliner.
i totally agree with the concept of teaching others what you know! it really does highlight what you need to work on in terms of the value of schooling, i believe an education is important to a degree. i know that getting a post secondary education is definitely not necessary to do well in the work force, but i have gained so much perspective and meaningful connections from being in an environment with so many like minded individuals my age 😊
@@toniannemayer relationships/connections with people in your age/iq range is its only redeeming quality IMO but is that really worth 15 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars? can't someone just create a group get-together app and we'll all meet up at arby's? or maybe companies should create their own education centers for the children of their employees? i'm just thinking out loud here these aren't really questions for you :^}
Im going to grade 9 and its so hard to manage my time bc i have classes outside of schools aswell and i have to contribute alot of time to studying but then i also need to give time to my family and friends and it js gets really hard to juggel all that ,so ur tips were really helpful
Only a sophomore here but I'll definitely be using these tips for the rest of my school year. Thank you for sharing this! :) Reminder: Don't put yourself down. Instead, learn from it.
Im a 11th grade student. Today I had an English test and I got one of my multiple choice question wrong, I was feeling so burned out and demotivated but youre video helped me a lot to understand that getting a question wrong doesnt mean were not studying good enough. I was ignoring all my friends just due to academic pressure. Your words boosted up my soul.
I just want to stop being on the verge of breaking down just because I hear the word "school"
I have never ever ever EVER related to a comment so bad before.
right like yesterday i CRIED at meet the teacher night 😭😭 pls i cant show up like that
so real
Just the thought of school alone makes my stomach turn 😭

YES YES YES TO ALL OF THESE 🙌
I'm in first year and facing it. this legit made me cry. Thank you for that.
OMG I'm staying economics and your words give me a lot of motivation ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for this❤
I had a bad HS experience, but trying college again and registered for a calculus math class. I needed this sm
Little note for skipping classes, check the policies for attendance at your school. Some Uni's will take away scholarships if you miss certain classes or a certain amout of time in a class! [I know it's late but I'm in grade 11, and I'm graduating in 2025 🎉]
Same here! 😭
Especially with how some classes will get you higher chances of getting into a university. Not all classes matter as much.
if we have attendance points, is it still skippable?

It’s so nice to see new studying tips and not the basic stuff everyone already knows
I'm so glad I could help!! 💗
yr11 (like literally two weeks away from yr12) and i have a tip for improving time management on tests!
step one: figure out how much time you have been allocated per mark (ie: i know that for one of my classes, we are given 1.5 minutes per mark)
step two: instead of doing entire practice tests/exams under timed conditions, do certain questions under timed conditions, to get used to writing (for example) a 5 marker in 7.5 minutes. once that timer goes off, stop immediately.
step three: work out what you got wrong/didn't get down in that question, and work out what (if anything) you wrote that was unneccessary.
step four: repeat the question under timed conditions until you are able to do it completely in the allocated time!
this a) helps with being able to work faster in tests, and b) gives you a feel for how much time you should be spending on each question in a test.
tysm for sharing these tips! great idea to practice under timed conditions
you're australian i can smell it
I am junior in high school and taking physics as class is just so devasting for me ...I loved how these tips bring us back to reality and tell that BEING DELULU IS NOT ALWAYS THE SOLULU ..thank so much tonianne for these tips ..
Preach! 😂
thank u
DELULU IS NOT ALWAYS THE SOLULU BAHAHAHAH MY NEW AFFIRMATION
@@toniannemayer glad you liked it ..
aye, good luck! junior year will be a bit of tough but I know you'll get through it
you changed my life for my first term back at school. I went from a C student to straight A.
im also going to take the your last tip into consideration because,, I tend to have a negative mindset and keep telling myself that "I'm not good in this class" or "I'll probably fail this test or exam" so I'll definitely will be saying affirmations in the morning to think positive everyday and hopefully I can do well in my classes so I can pass and won't have to retake them again!! and will also take naps because my schedule is pretty spaced out almost every other day
no literally, tape those affirmarions up on ur mirror or sum, apparently they will work wonders
LMAO I JUST SAW THE SECOND TIPS AJVDGSHSDGHVH yes. YES. YEEEES
I'm looking forward to using your study tips and thank you for the informative video 😊
u got this 🫶
@@toniannemayer thank you 👍
Same situation same class. We can do it!
Hello Tonianne, thank you for the advice! I'm in 12th grade and I am STRUGGLING. With all the essays, college applications, and just quiezzes and exams we have to do I now see just how bad I am at time management and have found this video really helpful and liked listening to you. Please send me your good energy!
✨whoosh whoosh✨ sending all of my A energy in ur direction
I am a 9th grade student who is having difficulty managing study time and self-management. You gave us many valuable tips in this video and tysm for those. I'm really looking forward for more study contents on your channel
🥰
for the affirmations: if you're like me and don't have the patience or time to do them, or maybe you feel cringe doing them, a great alternative is ASMR videos of affirmations rlas you fall asleep. I eneded up memorizing them and incorporating them. By listening to the same audio every night, I convinced myself of the things it was saying!

Any recommendations ?
I am a freshman in nursing school and I have really benefitted from the tips youve shared .... Thanks for sharing this with us.
I love quiet work ethic. Like smart work. I could learn from that. Sometimes I throw my all in but don’t reap maximum benefits.
I’m in grade 5 and my grades are already 85% up, I really thank you Tonia now I know how to manage my time and still be an academic weapon while having a social life

im freshman year in high school and i swear, im ALWAYS stressing about grades. Especially cus im failing math, so thank you for making this video

Personal Tip: Find study time intervals that personally suit you the best.
LOL so true with skipping classes… some just don’t really matter or a waste of your time… When being productive, you rlly have to know which to prioritize so your actions are fruitful (aka product-ive): going to a useless class or 3 sessions of deep focus
unfortunately, attendance is a big part of my classes… fortunately, my classes are just around 20 hours a week
I had so many study tips videos on my watch later but i removed all of them cause your tips are enough thank you so much!💕
Here's the thing about tip 6, my teacher NEVER tells us what to do or study for before the exam. they just say to revise the thing we have learned so it's a bit difficult to study cause you never know what the test questions are going to be 😭
I just started second year in comp. science engineering and one thing i've found helpful is the active recall. It helps beat the forgetting curve and info is easy to come to mind!
oh my god she is so nice. i love her way of speaking and thankyou for sharing all this knowledge.

Thanks!

I’m in my last year of college, I loved this video. Thank you so much! Just trying to grind till graduation 😅
i’m in middle school and I like to watch these because I think it’s important to start habits related to learning early c: thanks for you content 😁
edit: about the handwriting the work again yourself tip, I think it depends on who you are because that works a lot for me as I have to recall the information to be able to write it down (because I don’t directly copy) and (if i write the wrong thing THEN i’ll look at the notes and fix them) :D
Hii im a freshman taking Chemistry!! Honestly, I am having a hard time with my courses to the point that I failed one of them. Although I am trying my best to cope, it is so hard that burnouts occur mostly. Your videos are really helpful, looking forward to your next videos!!
Heyy for chem I really recommend watching videos, it helped me so much. Also try to do practice questions 🫶
One thing I like doing, while my professor is speaking during a lecture, I write down everything he is saying in my own words. Helps me understand.
Tip 2 is so important!! Passively copying everything down- does nothing!

Going back to Uni at 40 years old! Super helpful tips, thanks so much!
12:52 I think we should still aim high because the more we aim high we still fail higher than the others tho (altho dont be mentally devastated)
Love this, it’s easy to follow, not overly edited like most study tip videos, it’s super chill make more tips 💚
Key Takeaways:

Honestly, I'm an 8th grade student and I'm trying to just get better grades in general. The start of the school year just passed and I've already noticed my slacking. Motivation isn't that big of a problem to me but I just strive for those 100's. I'm noticing more of a drop in my grades even though it's not major.
I’m in my junior year of highschool and I just transferred from the other side of the country I’m in advanced chem, ap language, and ap human geography, so I really needed this

year 9 high school student-in assessments work out how much time u need. so if i had to write 2 paragraphs and answer 10 multiple answer questions-and i had 30 minutes to do it; decide how much time you need to spend on each activity. i’m pretty quick a the multiple choice questions-so i spend 10-15 mins for them and then the rest of the time on the paragraphs. it’s different for everyone xx
I'm a freshman in HS and this seems really useful, I have D's and C's in school right now so I'll let you know how this works out

I agree❤, MindMapping, Drawing out concepts on IPad or an app I use call Notability.
I was three years in about chemistry and the way I study was just reading. I failed everything. Now in marketing working on learning tech, I literally just read and thinking if I understand a concept, but what she’s talking about is a concept called mind mapping where you’re drawing out what connect what yes you would need to know the details definition,
but if you understand, one affects the other affects the other is easier to grab the concept and that goes along with learning and tech learning and marketing mind mapping whiteboards investment iPad that I’m going to get one to an app that you can use on your phone. It’s called Notability. I just downloaded that and that’s good too.
im an 8th grader and feel like my grades aren’t good enough, thank you❤
Im going to be in uni in a few days, i would like to see more uni content on your channel. I really liked your vibe , thanks.

This is the realist video about grades I’ve ever watched
I’m a freshman in economic science! Thank you for sharing your tips, somehow it makes me relieved to know that it’s better to assess whether or not you need it for yourself rather than listening to other people that tell you just how much it is and how much they’ll have to study for it. I was the type to heavily procrastinate in high school and I’m hoping to change that soon so I’m not as stressed out anymore! :)
the fact that you watched this vid shows that ur already taking steps in the right direction ❤

year 2 in Uni.
tip 15 is probably what will help me the most
ikkk it sucks but seriously helps a lot 🙃
handwriting notes and periodic review always helped me.. also, taking turns 'teaching' your other classmates is a good measure of your understanding of what you're studying. personally, though.. i think school is a waste of time because theoretical knowledge without practical application is backwards in my opinion. it makes more sense to teach someone 'on the job' than in an abstract vacuum where they don't know what or the why of what they're actually doing. if you want to teach someone about angles you should take them to a construction site first or maybe to a makeup artist for the girls so they can understand how to calculate the optimum degree for their winged eyeliner.
i totally agree with the concept of teaching others what you know! it really does highlight what you need to work on
in terms of the value of schooling, i believe an education is important to a degree. i know that getting a post secondary education is definitely not necessary to do well in the work force, but i have gained so much perspective and meaningful connections from being in an environment with so many like minded individuals my age 😊
@@toniannemayer relationships/connections with people in your age/iq range is its only redeeming quality IMO but is that really worth 15 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars? can't someone just create a group get-together app and we'll all meet up at arby's? or maybe companies should create their own education centers for the children of their employees? i'm just thinking out loud here these aren't really questions for you :^}
thanks girl

Im a 11th grade student. Today I had an English test and I got one of my multiple choice question wrong, I was feeling so burned out and demotivated but youre video helped me a lot to understand that getting a question wrong doesnt mean were not studying good enough. I was ignoring all my friends just due to academic pressure. Your words boosted up my soul.
