This chair was designed in Norway and was first launched 50 years ago. Clearly if it wasn't a good chair, it wouldn't still be sold. It's a sturdy and durable design making it a good product to buy second hand so as to reduce the price significantly.
@@JosephineeHuang Hi, I did watch the video and I didn't mean to disagree with you, but I can see what I wrote sounded that way. I guess I was just tired when writing and phrased it badly. Sorry. I just wanted to add that it's an old and proven design and if you can find it second hand (very common where I live) it's worth because it will still be very good quality, but much more affordable. $300 is quite steep...
@@charcar78 thanks for clearing that up! Yes I would agree! Second hand is a great option! In the description box one of the links are a second hand chair- it’s definitely more affordable that way!
The tray doesn't work without the baby insert, which isn't usable after they are 3 years old? In order words, it's not even a usable high chair once the baby is 4 years old? I just want to be sure I'm understanding this correct.
@@K38476 yup even at 6 months. I was teaching him to eat with the family. He did fine and my second son also started eating food at 6 months on the table
I got 3 trip traps for a total of $200 from someone moving out of state. Came with 1 tray and 1 baby set plus the newborn set LOL. What a steal.
WWOOWWE WHAT A STEAL!! AMAZING!!!

In the video I gave my personal opinion on this chair. It sounds like you didn’t watch the video as I would agree with you that it’s a great chair!

I never bought the tray. So unfortunately I don’t know anything about it. We always put the high chair up to the table for baby to eat like us.
@@JosephineeHuang even at 6 months ?

I wouldn’t pay that much for a high chair, instead I purchased one for hauk and it’s amazing. The only issue is their color variation
What color is your Tripp Trapp? I can't tell if it's Hazy Grey or Black Oak.
It’s grey!
@@JosephineeHuang Thank you!
