This is pure vanilla. So what you're seeing is in the base game. With companions, you get to add more the more you level up your clan tier (there is a max). Plus if you focus on some perk points, you can come across some perks which allow you have more companions. But, you'll have to choose between an additional companion or something else that could be better in that "tech tree" e.g. something 10% discount on troop wages. In terms of party size, again you will have the ability to hold more troop the more higher you progress in clan tier. Plus look out for some perk points which does the same. What you're seeing in this video is my own troops plus I raised an army, so the rest will be from other fellow vassals/ mercenaries.
