learning the mfd might be 1 of the best things to learn in f1 games since you suddenly have to manualy change options and all that stuff. also i love your vids, feel free to take a break if you need

Hey trev, please do a second season, with 50% races and full qualifying!!! it'd be such a great season
50% would be great but unfortunately I don't think Trevor would have time for that as he could make 2 episodes instead of one in the same time if he did 50% races. Could be sick if he did it for the final race though!
Maybe if you wouldn't skip when they tell you the grid line up you'd know how you ended up in P9, but you skip everything because you just wanna speed through these series
Imo it also helps knowing the controls, like you can come earlier then expected but I also play with like zero assist (10 years of sim experience) but keep flashbacks on as I like to keep it fun. As assist can screw you up so fast especially if you have auto transmissions

As long as you change your tyres on the mfd to reflect updates to your strat mid race you can go in the pits at any time. You dont need to wait for the game to tell you to come in

Best series ever I need this everyday
If you press 3 and then press 4 you can pick which tyres to change to. And then press 3 and choose when to Box. Its the easiest way. You can choose between all sets. Also even when the line dosent show. You can still go in.
I also had trouble using the mfd but you can speak to the pitwall too by pressing the other button, helps a lot if you learn the commands

Trev you set the lap change to be at lap 9, which means you pit at the end of lap 9. You were 1 lap late with the strategy because the rain came as you crossed the line to start lap 9. Should have set the pit to be at lap 8, you would've pitted right there lol. Also, you can pit whenever you want. Don't need the blue line

the altered strategy did say for lap 8 weird that it didnt pop up the blue line, only reason I can think of for that would be if you had accidentally hit the option to stay on your other strategy Trev but oh well (future reference yes they will still service you even if the blue line isnt there)

EDIT: so those in the know-how, Trev set his pit stop at lap 9 so by my understanding even if the team suggested him to go with different tyres, wouldn't it still be the same lap he had set?
That's what I was thinking too? He selected to go in 9th lap. Just because he changed the tires doesn't mean he changed when to pit
That reminded me of when Norris nearly had his first win and kept sliding on track when the rain came! good effort though!
You're taking a risk putting slightly over the exact fuel you need lol if the safety car comes out for a couple of laps you might run out of fuel 😭🤣
(Or at least that would happen in real life I'm not sure if it's incorporated in the game) 🤔

hey trev you will get a much better start if you keep ERS off until atleast 4/5th gear also if your using full traction control try medium you’ll be way faster. ❤️
Trev you gotta use t-cam offset lmao, also you gotta be more aggressive when warming the tyres since they will cool on the grid and you will get a horrible start

I would take it easy or be super aggressive until the rain comes and then switch to enters and then try to be as careful as you can

After qualifying starts you can’t make changes to the cars setup. Even if you do the full qually. Engine penalties
Yeah you are leaving performance on the table by not using the mfd. You can change the fuel mixture to get more power or save fuel so you can under fuel the car so that you are lighter
