Like the look of clods but never know how much to tighten down. If its thick weed and you tighten too much won't it just drag ya bait into the weed. Making the chod useless or if you leave it slack be poor bite indication? Anyone help?
So I have been using the chods with braided mainline but have also used them naked on fluorocarbon mainline, in both cases I sink the line slowly from the rig end back to the bank without tightening the line too much, once the line is sunk I gently tighten up until I have a straight line to the lead but not enough to move anything, at that point bobbin on and let it all settle on its own, after a bit I check it and take up any additional slack and gently slide down a light backlead but by this time the line is all sat on the bottom so the backlead shouldn't affect the rig. Essentially slack line fishing is what you are doing but its straight line slack lining if that makes sense.
Good effort amazing.i would like to ask why do you put the chod in the bush waker its a chod thats all it lands and sits over stuff easy any way you had it fair one but there no cast iv never tryed it and it sort of a hing or why didnt you use a hing thats all whats the thinking here good effort tho
Glad you enjoyed the film, it is really important to us to help anglers of all levels improve their knowledge especially when it comes to tying rigs not everyone is familiar with them, thanks again for the support and tight lines!
