Honest to God, I put this in my “watch later” and put it off for 6 months. I am the worst at procrastination. Something that helps me get a hold on it, though, is realizing it’s a response to anxiety and it helps to take away the feeling of being a complete lazy shithead to attacking it. Treating it like a response to stress allows me to stop beating myself up about it and try to find ways to decrease the “stress” factor.

Honest request: I listen to your channel almost everyday in my car on the way to work. I look forward to it. But one production habit has become a drawback for me.
When you transition, you go to words on the screen with no narration. I’m listening as I drive, not watching. Could you at least read the transition words, please? The silent transitions are really annoying when you present “3 things” this or “5 habits” that. Please, just add voice-over. Thank you. Your work is an inspiration.

Great video, 1 critical improvement to add here. If you read the book The Power of Habit, it breaks down habits into 3 parts - Cue, Routine, Reward. You need all 3 to make an embedded habit. Lets use the I want to start working out every day - Cue might be - Alarm on phone set at 4pm everyday. Routine is what you do, so going to the gym. Reward you can attack this a number of ways - Maybe you just like the way you feel, or the feeling of your muscles straining, or the fact you walk taller - Remind yourself during and after of this as that reward will embed the habit. You can also reward with some sort of treat, maybe this is I'll treat myself to a black coffee from my fav coffee shop instead of drinking my cheap coffee at home. Whatever you find works for you

The Kaizen principle aims at creating small increments of productive tasks on a daily basis. In such a way that the mind doesn't catch the abrupt changes and it doesn't stop you from doing the task. You see, the tasks are too small to be even considered as tasks. Thank you for your amazing post. I know about a medical case where a woman who was 100lbs overweight was made to put down 80lbs in a year using this same principle. You keep us inspired and motivated. I'm trying to follow these to develop my channel. Thanks again

Hello! I have a question for you, it's a little personal too -
Most youtubers or authors I know who put out great and helpful content generally proclaim that they enjoy helping people out and so, they work and they work hard. What I've observed is that I, for one, am not toooo delighted about helping people out - whether it's helping my siblings with a math problem or pulling a few strings to get some passes for a friend. I don't engage in the help, voluntarily, unless I enjoy the process of helping itself(I quite enjoy teaching and teaching math).
So how do you do it ? Is it something you learnt ? Is it something you just liked doing from a young age ?

Thank you so much for this video. I really loved the idea. I have ADHD my mind wanders around a lot and that's why I want everything to be fast and simple. So I usually watch videos on 2x because I'm impatient and also it's the only way i can actually watch it. (That's a bad habit because of this I cant understand what I read I just do the action but not really aware of it) And, even on 2x speed you are awfully slow, it's my fault I know but still you see. I couldnt watch it without pausing it 3-4 times and then forcing myself to finish it. Just wanted to say that, have a great week and I'm sorry if its mean.im not trying to be one.

By the end it's said that Life is a competition with yourself - not others. My heart melts... until Speaker continues: if you want to win, you must make it easy for yourself. Then it struck me: How easily do I want to win? That won't be fun at all!

The Problem lies in 1) Over thinking and 2) Too many Distractions/Choices.
It's copyrighted >>> JUST DO IT.
    Nothing more and nothing less.
You either DO or DON'T, pick one.
Example: I don't want to go for a run today because; I'm tired, it's cold, I got things to do, it's raining, maybe later, etc...
The same successful person running is ONLY FOCUSED on running and NOTHING ELSE. They will run in rain or sunshine, tired or sad, day or night.
You can complain while you're running; It's cold, it's wet, this is BS... but keep running. Because the only thing that matter is DOING IT. Keep moving, Keep doing, Keep going...
Put it on a SCHEDULE CALENDAR and DO IT.

(LIFE IS EASY) only the individual makes it more complicated. If you say it's hard then it will be hard, if you say it's easy then it will be easy. It's what you believe easy (do) or hard (do not) your decision.
