I lived in Japan for 5 years recently, but can’t believe I never went to Disney there. I went to Disneyland when I moved back to the US and realized how fun it was as an adult. Gotta go back now! Glad you guys could enjoy it!

We managed to snag a vacation package with 2 nights at the Fantasy Springs hotel last July. It was beyond magical. Truly lives up to its name. Every light fixture in the hotel is a different gorgeous flower. Our room had an alcove bed that was painted like Rapunzel's tower. The breakfast buffet had delicious items themed to the 3 lands in Fantasy springs. And yes, having that entrance to the park is amazing. I cried when we left. I cannot wait to go back.

Peter and Kitra, I loved your overview of Fantasy Springs! You were in the parks just a week after we were, so it was really nice to look back on the land again. My favourite part was definitely the springs with all the characters. The Sorcerer Mickey one was so beautiful and cool, and I took some photos in front of the Alice spring, proudly holding up my sling bag which has a beautiful Alice pin on it, and some of the Japanese guests smiled when they saw me! I really enjoyed the Peter Pan ride because of the length (it just kept going! ) and the amazing sensation of flying! It was so peaceful and cool and cute. The Tangled ride is definitely too short, but the animatronics were so well done. Rapunzel up in her tower is mesmerizing and we loved hearing her sweet singing in Japanese, but I also loved the mix of emotions on Flynn’s face while Rapunzel is healing his hand- it’s so impressive what they can do now!! And finally, Kitra, your emotion after seeing that little girl with Snow White was so sweet. I nearly teared up watching you! Getting to witness those interactions definitely contributes to the parks being such special places, and it’s something I wish I could convey better to friends who have never been and don’t understand the appeal. I honestly probably would have cried too if I’d witnessed that interaction!

I follow some Japanese language Disney accounts, in the case of the grass is always greener, there were a number of them that don’t like Fantasy Spring! They thought the land has too many attractions and a lack of shows/meet and greets. Which is the opposite of my reaction, I was thrilled that there were four rides

The New Fantasy Springs looks incredible and beautiful. I want to go so bad. So I heard this from a podcast that one of the people who did Epic Universe also did Fantasy Springs, and I can kinda see the resemblance with the rock work and the way the land looks. The TDL team did a fantastic job with this new immersive land.
Finishing my packing to Walt Disney World tomorrow morning through Christmas what better way to finish packing but watching one of your videos I wanna wish you and Peter a fabulous holiday and of course the dogs. I’ll think of you in the sky club tomorrow morning lol
The Peter Pan section was definitely my favorite, I mean look "the ants are eating the watermelon." Imagine Magic Kingdom actually doing Adventureland some just and building it up like this. My favorite thing from the entire area was the horse animatronic on the Tangled ride--just sniffing the grass with its snoofer--the best ;)
My kids were both a little heartbroken because of just really bad timing when they were in Japan this past Spring…this expansion opened on June 6th…but they finished their two week stay on June 1st! (And NARROWLY missed out on getting in both times they tried to get in during soft opens..)
I was there on Tuesday and managed to get a DPA or Standby Pass for all the rides in FS. Unfortunately, I raced to FS after watching Believe only to find out Peter Pan had broken down. After they decided it wasn’t going to be fixed before park closing, they changed the pass to be good FOR TWO YEARS. So as long as I come back within the next two years, I have guaranteed access to FS to get on Peter Pan! 🎉 As for those who have commented about the difficulty in getting anything for FS, I feel you. I made sure to go on a Tuesday during a non-holiday week and got there early. Also, constantly check the app during the day. Refresh, refresh, refresh. I managed to get Frozen around 2pm and Peter Pan Standby even after they had already announced all Standby was gone. I saw Peter Pan pop up on DPA multiple times during the day.
My favorite land at Fantasy Springs is….Neverland! I don’t know why, but I just loved everything about it (especially the Skull Island)… The merch I’d want the most is the Fantasy Springs Book with Chocolates inside and the Frozen tea set~
Hi Kitra! you are not alone. I got motion sickness from the Peter Pan ride too. The food at the Arendelle restaurant box set was pretty good. We got the seafood one. I can’t wait to go back !

So I heard this from a podcast that one of the people who did Epic Universe also did Fantasy Springs, and I can kinda see the resemblance with the rock work and the way the land looks. The TDL team did a fantastic job with this new immersive land.

The Peter Pan section was definitely my favorite, I mean look "the ants are eating the watermelon." Imagine Magic Kingdom actually doing Adventureland some just and building it up like this. My favorite thing from the entire area was the horse animatronic on the Tangled ride--just sniffing the grass with its snoofer--the best ;)
So good. There’s something so cool about those animatronics being outside
With how cute the packaging on the food is there I would be packing all my "empty" food containers just to take home! 🤣

My kids were both a little heartbroken because of just really bad timing when they were in Japan this past Spring…this expansion opened on June 6th…but they finished their two week stay on June 1st! (And NARROWLY missed out on getting in both times they tried to get in during soft opens..)
Oh that's rough, although they probably avoided very crowded parks so it’s not all bad

I was there on Tuesday and managed to get a DPA or Standby Pass for all the rides in FS. Unfortunately, I raced to FS after watching Believe only to find out Peter Pan had broken down. After they decided it wasn’t going to be fixed before park closing, they changed the pass to be good FOR TWO YEARS. So as long as I come back within the next two years, I have guaranteed access to FS to get on Peter Pan! 🎉
As for those who have commented about the difficulty in getting anything for FS, I feel you. I made sure to go on a Tuesday during a non-holiday week and got there early. Also, constantly check the app during the day. Refresh, refresh, refresh. I managed to get Frozen around 2pm and Peter Pan Standby even after they had already announced all Standby was gone. I saw Peter Pan pop up on DPA multiple times during the day.

My favorite land at Fantasy Springs is….Neverland! I don’t know why, but I just loved everything about it (especially the Skull Island)… The merch I’d want the most is the Fantasy Springs Book with Chocolates inside and the Frozen tea set~

Hi Kitra! you are not alone. I got motion sickness from the Peter Pan ride too. The food at the Arendelle restaurant box set was pretty good. We got the seafood one. I can’t wait to go back !
