Great video! I would like to add that Geto's (the original) point of view is to cull all non-sorcerers, not "optimizing curse energy". The one who believes that is Kenjaku (in Geto's body).
so either a society of tojis and makis absolute units and savage or a world of people who need to have a couple screws loose to use powers (Yeah neither is a good idea )
@@Skincrawler_banditwell not everyone would be like Toji. Maki and Toji likely had a substantial amount of cursed energy and a decent cursed technique in exchange for the heavenly restriction. The majority of humans wouldn't have a ct to exchange. And they would minimal amount of cursed energy to take away. They likely wouldn't become as strong as toji
@@JA-zo8su I understand but personally I viewd the main reason why he was so strong wasn't because he sacrificed a good technique or good cursed energy but because not being able to have ce.Was aiming at his potential more than than his technique which is why hes so strong because he sacrificed potential strength of having ce . But than again even if I'm the only one I whole heartedly believe toji was supposed to have 10S (in verse not naritavely) but because of the hr megumi got 10S instead
I doubt that the removal of cursed energy would make humans all like Toji bc without CE at all there’s no equivalent exchange for anything. Like remember there’s a reason it’s a heavenly restriction that makes 0 CE a thing
Great video. I wish the theory at the beginning was explained better. Yuki wants non-sorcerers to lose their cursed energy, the method might use binding pacts to do this. This is the opposite of what was mentioned about optimizing cursed energy, that would turn everyone into sorcerers. This is why she is fighting Pseudo-Geto. Pseudo-Geto wants everyone to become able to optimize their cursed energy, and stop leaking it. He wants non-sorcerers to become sorcerers. His method of doing this is to have the human race evolve to adapt to cursed energy. Pseudo-Geto wants everyone to be sorcerers, Yuki wants everyone to be non-sorcerers. In theory they want the same thing: To stop cursed spirits. Saying Yuki effectively wants sorcerers is confusing because the method each are using is the important part. Because of these different methods this is why Pseudo-Geto and Yuki are fighting.
Pseudo Geto does not want everyone to be sorcerers. That's original Geto's goal. Pseudo Geto wants to optimize cursed energy for alot of people but that's not his goal, that's just the way to reach goal.
@@Neoroticus It's a spoiler. If u don't mind spoilers then . . . . . . . He is trying to fuse people in japan with Tengen to create a creature that ascends above human and curse. Like he said in the last episode he wants to see the full potential of cursed energy. And that creature would be it. To make that fusion happen he needs and insane amount of cursed energy, which is why he is gonna make all these sorcerers fight and then he will collect their cursed energy.
In short culling games. Geto, made it impossible for people to ignore cursed spirits at all and now because of that Japan as a whole has been turned into an arena. Eveyone inside of Japan now just fight for their lives in order to exterminate the weak and give the strong better cursed energy. He wants to full on no non cursed sides and only eh saying one’s to be left.
Just finished this season and I think I'm comfortable being anime-only with JJK for now, especially since the manga is also still ongoing, but your explanations here did help me understand exactly what Pseudo Geto was going on about there at the end. What was the deal with Inumaki losing his arms though? That was pretty shocking and wasn't elaborated on at all, I'm curious to see what that was about in the future.
I don't think it ever gets explicitly stated, but it's because of Sukuna's domain clipping him. You can see some of the civilians saying that it should be ok so long as the guy with the magnophone is there before they get diced up. JJK does a lot of these where the story expects you to piece it together.
And i get what you mean with the shots and slow panning on this info pack talking episodes but i loved every second of it. Like bro these animators just gave me 8 episodes back to back to back fighting, intensities, never stopping hype train worth of episodes lmaoo. Each episode could have been a season finale fight for other seasons.
The way I understood Kenny making all of his vows null is that he made a business transaction. And while he is upholding his end of the bargain to some extent he can't be punished if he goes against the vow. Which is important cause even he said breaking vows is a bad idea.
Mahoraga is a general but what I'd like to know as an anime watcher is whether the is a higher rank above Mahoraga, which would be crazy considering how op it already is. Side note, Sudo Geto really manipulated cursed spirits(humans too) without his technique, but psychology until he took mahito, he's a top tier antagonist along with Sukuna🔥
Remember that scene where Miwa was walking through the Sendai Colony? I think she collected Tsumiki's body and they figured out some way to save Tsumiki from death. Like think about it : They had Miwa walking around in Sendai Colony, why is that? Yorozu was also in Sendai Colony. We have seen sorcerers die, but their bodies are usually destroyed beyond repair. The thing is, we have an example of Sorcerers coming back from death in Gojo.
This was such a great season! Choso coming to Itadori's aid and the absorption of mahito by imposter Suguru (Kenjaku) made my mouth drop. I really wish we got to see more of Yuki at the end of the arc. XD I love your content
The best modern anime visually that I have seen. There were many scenes I found myself questioning if they were experimenting and added actual real world footage into some scenes when it came to many scenes where it was some form of city scape void of any life in the shot. Also the last episode with the curse and the little girl was nerve racking when it came to trying to pin down if what I was watching was real or animation. Genuinely that scene was actually kind of scary just visually. Whoever animated that scene is who they need to hire exclusively when it comes to anime adaptations of Junji Ito’s work.
You say Geto is doing this for some odd reason or agenda, but we in fact do know what Geto's endgame is and he said as he departed Shibuya with Prison Realm in tow: "The Henien Era will be Reborn" Geto's endgame is to push the world back all those years to what was called "The Golden Age of Jujutsu"
For anime watchers , this isnt even his full plan , there is more that will be revealed in the next arc which is the culling games arc .( spoilers for the ones who want to know what happened next ) Remember how yukio mentioned in the ep that the reason cursed energy doesnt exist outside japan is because of tengen's barriers , well guess what , tegen is dead and his barriers were destroyed , the whole point of the culling games was make tengen vulnerable so fake geto could kill him , now that his gone , cursed energy will spread around the world , fake geto also leaked information about cursed energy to other countries like the USA , right now , the hotspots of cursed energy outside japan are the USA , china, the middle east and central asia .
Content has been immaculate bro thank you for cooking so consistently. Also the higher ups exiling Gojo and giving Yaga the death sentence made me so confused and angry until I thought about why this works for them and it just served to reiterate how lame current Jujustu culture is and that this story is basically about performing the ultimate and impossible coup and turning the accepted reality on its head
Thank you to the animators for all the AMV content and thank you to the author(s) for the emotional rollercoaster we have endured. Season 3 sounds a lot like Yuji and friends attempting to get gojo back, Yuta becoming the primary villain of season 3 with Geto being the 'end boss'. Then cursed users/'resurrected' sorcerers/cursed spirits just being the neutral evil. I wonder how Megume is going to deal with his sister being 'reawakened' sotospeak and his father (most likely) coming back... again. Would be nice to see the story unfold for about 18 episodes, then the last 6 be basically Yuji and Gojo's psyche just breaking like they did when Gojo fought flower bitch and Sukuna took over respectively.
I love this show but my gosh is it confusing, I barely keep up with basic knowledge like curse techniques, curse spirts, Jjk sorcery and so on, then this last episode just confused way more like why did they seem gojo a criminal at the end, and stuff like that
I didn’t know Geto was considered a “yapper” like bruh. He’s such an interesting villain that I don’t mind the “yapping”. A lot of people didn’t like the endless talking but I mean we literally got fights back to back and this was the appropriate ending.
Bro i can remember Mei Mei and Utahime in the first episode and i was like wtf and now the season is done i wish we would be again at the first episode ._.
Can someone please explain how Yuta can summon Rikka still? At the end of 0 didn't they say their goodbyes and the curse was broken?? Or is Yuta still just OP without her??
Im an anime only so idk for sure but I just assumed because it was his technique in the first place, he could resummon her. He "broke" the curse he had placed on her at the end of Jjk 0. But yes, he is just as OP without her. He wouldn't be a special grade sorcerer if he wasn't.
@@Orion__no thank you both, my little brother begged me to give jjk a chance and ive loved it so far! that was my only solid complaint and yall helped explain!!!
Easy sub, I stopped looking around for videos explaining JJK for me cause they are all awful. Not sure why yours randomly popped up but this is what I’ve been looking for.
thanks for explaining what fake geto meant! i had to go back and rewind a few times to catch everything he was saying and i still didn't fully comprehend it. the thought of a bunch more sukunas (or i guess discount sukunas bc no one else can be him) is scary! sucks to be someone having your body taken over. also if yuki had mahito's technique, could she theoretically go around and teach everyone how to use cursed energy by changing their brains?
Not necessarily from what I know. If I remember correctly, people like Junpei were born with a Cursed Technique, but couldn't use them because their brains couldn't "run the software" as it were. This was what the brain "upgrade" was for. If you weren't born with a Cursed Technique, upgrading your hardware (brain) won't do much good.
no yuki couldn't only those who have the potential of a cursed technique but the brain or sorcerer (like junpei) can be turned into full sorcerers with idle transfiguration most people aren't born like that so it wouldn't be likely scenario
It’s symbolic that yuji is behind the scenes where she said we should detach from curse energy I think he gonna do that at the end of the series everyone normal and he dies with all the curses including the energies
I didn't mind the long walk honestly. I was fricking confused as to who it was. I thought it was Yuta searching for Yuji. Than I thought it was some random person since I had seen Yuta save a stranger. Honestly wish I hadn't got spoilers as I ended up remembering what goes on after this part after Yuji came across strong curses. I thought they were his that he summoned but yeah I guess that's for the future maybe.
Can someone please explain what the void/hole is that is expanding? Did Geto raise a barrier/veil that is just expanding (how is he able to do this)? I feel like most of the explanation videos are just skimming over the hole.
@@taxevasi no yeah, I got the first circle was sukuna’s hole in shibuya, but the blackout zone/hole was shown to be expanding over the episode (in the days/weeks after shibuya). I was more so thrown by what was causing it to grow. The other explanation of people leaving makes sense. It could also be the curse spirits geto released killing any other people as they spread out from the epicenter of shibuya’s crater
its supposed to show the scale/spread of the curses that geto released. to show that people are evacuating/dying in insane amounts in that black area@@chuck3599
I’m confused… if “geto” wants new sorcerers and old sorcerers to fight each eachother to collect the cursed energy he needs what’s the point of releasing those cursed spirits? And how will he be collecting this cursed energy? And at what point did inumaki get hit by Sukuna’s domain?
The when is never shown for inumaki, but two of the girls that are talking inside building as the domain goes down comment on inumaki being close by and that its all gonna be ok. As for the first question, it’s season 3 stuff so I wouldn’t wanna spoil it
To be fair “perspicacity” is in the leak, not the og translation drop where he says “your questions are starting to become shallow”, so he’s not a Tait fan 😂🙏
The anime is damn confusing, but they did a good job making Mahito, Yuji, Nanami and Todo very interesting characters with some awesome fights which kept me invested. After the first 5 episodes built up Geto's rivalry with Gojo, I was disappointed to see that it wasn't the real Geto but a fake one that's the antagonist - that kinda nullifies the point of building up Geto's character in the flashback.
great video, thanks! i know the animators had a rough year, as an animator myself i hate whats happening in anime, especially since id like to work in anime projects too..but the text announcements of geto, gojo, yuji etc kinda disappointed me, storytelling wise..i loved when we found out about getos actions and his sentence with the gojo and principal scene so we got a reaction from gojo..also kind of how they went around people watching tv news and finding out whats going on here and there maybe they'll save it as a reaction when they announced the sentences for s3 "recap" of event but actually animated
The problem i am having to understand is if he made vows with cursed spirits and its null void how is he able to summon all 10 million of the curses at this exact time? Like he they were going to be release based on a bad contract wouldn't this have happened the moment he swapped bodies?
I think the point is that the contracts don't matter because he can just absorb and use them as he see's fit now that he has access to Geto's technique. He likely absorbed them offscreen. At least that's my interpretation.
I still don't understand the sentence made on Gojo, why woudl the JJ board consider him "bad" or opposed to them and want to keep him sealed? How did they conclude he "contributed" to the events of Shibuya? Help!
They don't like Gojo because he directly opposes them and goes over their heads 24/7. They just believe they can weather whatever storm is coming without him. As for how he "contributed" in Shibuya. Knowing that "Geto" is alive implies that Gojo didn't kill him in 0 therefore he's involved.
@@Orion__no Ok I get it. It fits their agenda against Gojo. Also, I hadn't realize that hesitating to kill Geto may be interpreted as negligence. Thank Orion!
no worries! Gege has a habit of saying things and assuming people will just grasp it immediately when a lot of it requires you to have read the story multiple times
So because he made pacts with cursed spirits in the past, that are now null and void, it means he cant use them anymore? Is that what that means, but he still has 1,000s? Or is that why he chose geto's body so he could still get some cursed spirits, someone help me here 😭😂
Null and void because he can just absorb and use them anyway he wants regardless. It's why he says "when I obtained this body". The implication is that he's been throating the curses since then to build up the collection.
Ohhhhh I seee! I literally watched this episode today after binge watching the entire season! XD, the ending bits confused me as my brain didnt comprehend there was a bit of a time jump lol. But your videos helped me so thank you! - I'm also depressed because it's ended lmao@@Orion__no

I call him pseudo or fake geto to avoid spoilers for anime onlies. Even if its just a name.
1:09 She went back to wanting everyone to be like Toji, getting rid of CE.
so either a society of tojis and makis absolute units and savage or a world of people who need to have a couple screws loose to use powers (Yeah neither is a good idea )
@@Skincrawler_banditif everyone is super strong then nobody really is, aren't they
Great video.
@@Huh-oh3mxthen what's his goal

He is trying to fuse people in japan with Tengen to create a creature that ascends above human and curse. Like he said in the last episode he wants to see the full potential of cursed energy. And that creature would be it.
To make that fusion happen he needs and insane amount of cursed energy, which is why he is gonna make all these sorcerers fight and then he will collect their cursed energy.
the number of cursed spirits released was not hundreds or thousands but "no less than 10 million"
Can’t wait for the culling games arc to get animated in like 3 years
Season 3 got announced lmao, and knowing mappa it’s probably gonna drop like next week? (I’m joking but you get the idea)
@@Strykes_Back Yey they announced it the day of the last episode, these animators cant catch a break sadly.
Early-Mid 2025 seems most likely enough
@@tganims9804 They have a bunch of other anime’s on their schedule to work on, earliest being late 2026, but we’ll see.
I’m thinking June-August 2025
THIS SEASON WAS GLORIOUS AND GRACIOUS
And i get what you mean with the shots and slow panning on this info pack talking episodes but i loved every second of it. Like bro these animators just gave me 8 episodes back to back to back fighting, intensities, never stopping hype train worth of episodes lmaoo. Each episode could have been a season finale fight for other seasons.
oh yeah trust me I don't blame them at all. They've over-delivered this season when it comes to the big fights.
The way I understood Kenny making all of his vows null is that he made a business transaction. And while he is upholding his end of the bargain to some extent he can't be punished if he goes against the vow. Which is important cause even he said breaking vows is a bad idea.
my little brain couldn't have understood that lol, thanks for this
No worries. Gege likes to over complicate things sometimes
Finally a calm serious and confident yuta animtated i loves jjk 0 but seeing yuta crying and complaining 75% of movie pissed me off
for some reason, you are the only one making non-ai generated content for this anime.. thanks :)
Big ups for using that Bebop music at the beginning. It’s always a jam
that last episode was REALLY confusing, so thanks!
The poor animators they just finished jjk but now they have to do the chainsaw man movie then hell paradise then right back to jjk.
hell's paradise isn't under the seshimo team line only jjk and csm are
This was such a great season! Choso coming to Itadori's aid and the absorption of mahito by imposter Suguru (Kenjaku) made my mouth drop. I really wish we got to see more of Yuki at the end of the arc. XD
I love your content
Crying because it's over 😭
It was really good
3:43 bro i was chowing on some food and i hadnt seen this clip before, legit choked on my food when he said "sheer indifigatibility"🤣🤣🤣
Music always fits perfectly to situation in JJK.

For anime watchers , this isnt even his full plan , there is more that will be revealed in the next arc which is the culling games arc .( spoilers for the ones who want to know what happened next )
Remember how yukio mentioned in the ep that the reason cursed energy doesnt exist outside japan is because of tengen's barriers , well guess what , tegen is dead and his barriers were destroyed , the whole point of the culling games was make tengen vulnerable so fake geto could kill him , now that his gone , cursed energy will spread around the world , fake geto also leaked information about cursed energy to other countries like the USA , right now , the hotspots of cursed energy outside japan are the USA , china, the middle east and central asia .
Tengen didnt die he got absorbed by Kenjaku. we see him in his possesion when they found the Shinbutsu mummy
@@itsjustvin7630 oh right , but still, now that tengen is out of the game, it will be a huge problem for the sorcerers .
I was confused as heck in the end too. So he released all his curses he had stored up?
Content has been immaculate bro thank you for cooking so consistently. Also the higher ups exiling Gojo and giving Yaga the death sentence made me so confused and angry until I thought about why this works for them and it just served to reiterate how lame current Jujustu culture is and that this story is basically about performing the ultimate and impossible coup and turning the accepted reality on its head
Thanks for sticking around 🫡
1:06 Shōnen enjoyers are something else dude, am sincerely amazed that you all are capable of reading subtitles
What happened to Toge’s arm? How did Yuji cut it? Was it in the anime?
edge of sukunas domain, it wasn’t shown happening on screen
@@Orion__no the main reason I came here n overall thank you sm. Holy crap this guy really is the GOAT
Season 2 kinda left me a bit traumatized. Too many powerful enemies. And deaths of loved ones. What happened to Megumi?
Sukuna healed him before defeating Mahoraga. After that he takes Megumi to Shoko and Principal Yaga and thats where he was last seen in S2
@@Orion__no okay. Thought he was dead. Sigh of relief. I love Megumi 🥰
Pseudo Geto is called Kenjaku. Some friend of Sukuna from 1000 years ago.
Why is the default state of mind for every manga reader to spoil random shit? I call him pseudo/fake geto for a reason
I love this show but my gosh is it confusing, I barely keep up with basic knowledge like curse techniques, curse spirts, Jjk sorcery and so on, then this last episode just confused way more like why did they seem gojo a criminal at the end, and stuff like that
Yaga catches a random ass stray from the uppers
I didn’t know Geto was considered a “yapper” like bruh. He’s such an interesting villain that I don’t mind the “yapping”. A lot of people didn’t like the endless talking but I mean we literally got fights back to back and this was the appropriate ending.
Nice video man keep going
So the villaij of JJK is Andrew Getto Tate
Bro i can remember Mei Mei and Utahime in the first episode and i was like wtf and now the season is done i wish we would be again at the first episode ._.
With how they do these episodes. We need your channel
It gets explained later, but if you want to know.
Basically Rika left behind a shell of herself that Yuta can use. It’s essentially a Shikigami now
@@Orion__no thank you both, my little brother begged me to give jjk a chance and ive loved it so far! that was my only solid complaint and yall helped explain!!!

The new video dropped sooner than expected
usually I drop em within 12 hours of the episode coming out. This one is wayyy late by comparison
If you weren't born with a Cursed Technique, upgrading your hardware (brain) won't do much good.
no yuki couldn't only those who have the potential of a cursed technique but the brain or sorcerer (like junpei) can be turned into full sorcerers with idle transfiguration
most people aren't born like that so it wouldn't be likely scenario
Glad you explained his yap session well this time 😂. Happy new year everyone, fantastic season in the books
Great video man!
Appreciate it!
It’s symbolic that yuji is behind the scenes where she said we should detach from curse energy I think he gonna do that at the end of the series everyone normal and he dies with all the curses including the energies

Wow , keep it going man i love this 🥇🥇🥇
The Tate reference was amazing 😂
I didn't mind the long walk honestly. I was fricking confused as to who it was. I thought it was Yuta searching for Yuji. Than I thought it was some random person since I had seen Yuta save a stranger. Honestly wish I hadn't got spoilers as I ended up remembering what goes on after this part after Yuji came across strong curses. I thought they were his that he summoned but yeah I guess that's for the future maybe.
Geto is thousands of years old . I remember he said that in the ep .
I love the ending in the Anime where it shows society's reaction to what has just happened.

Can someone please explain what the void/hole is that is expanding? Did Geto raise a barrier/veil that is just expanding (how is he able to do this)? I feel like most of the explanation videos are just skimming over the hole.
people are leaving the area
thats basically it
The hole is probably no electricity in that area because thousands of cursed spirit causing people to die and leave
the hole is where sukuna used his domain expansion. theres no light going to the area which is why its shown as pitch black.

Just finished it last night. What an amazing ride.
As for the first question, it’s season 3 stuff so I wouldn’t wanna spoil it
@@Orion__no oh ok thanks man!
The animators did such a good job. I don’t care if they reused or took long shots.

Thank you!!!! I was so confused why they were in a dark Fortnite ring
I thought Geto was dead and this is Kenjocku or do we call him geto still because they haven’t said that name?
The anime is damn confusing, but they did a good job making Mahito, Yuji, Nanami and Todo very interesting characters with some awesome fights which kept me invested. After the first 5 episodes built up Geto's rivalry with Gojo, I was disappointed to see that it wasn't the real Geto but a fake one that's the antagonist - that kinda nullifies the point of building up Geto's character in the flashback.
What’s the last song at @8:05 ?
Why the last episode it wasn’t posted on Crunchyroll this week ?
great video, thanks! i know the animators had a rough year, as an animator myself i hate whats happening in anime, especially since id like to work in anime projects too..but the text announcements of geto, gojo, yuji etc kinda disappointed me, storytelling wise..i loved when we found out about getos actions and his sentence with the gojo and principal scene so we got a reaction from gojo..also kind of how they went around people watching tv news and finding out whats going on here and there
maybe they'll save it as a reaction when they announced the sentences for s3 "recap" of event but actually animated
Tournament arc Nah
The clap from Yuji I thought he was going to use big brothers move
