They are getting noticeably better cycle to cycle. You might say they are heating up.

I'm not a fan of most of these dragons.
The dragonlords they become, however, are awesome and I have think I have built decks around most of them.

I was looking at the newer ones as well, they do shape up a lot. The earlier dragon cycles have not aged well. I think it is interesting to look at from a power creep perspective.
