I stay in Nigeria but a different town from my family. I totally understand what it is dealing with children all by yourself. It is 11:30 pm now. My 2 year old plus just got to sleep. His little sister is still here climbing my body.
Oh dear! Please just keep hanging in there alright? I know it’s for the greater good of you all. If he notices you’re broken, it’ll weaken him. Just be strong so that he can draw strength from you and focus on what he’s doing. #hugs 😘
Most times, we forget to live in the presence and that's one thing Nigerian system does to us. We all want to achieve achieve and achieve but forget the little things. For instance, I hear you mention career, career, career. It's common for women who have young kids but I'm glad you're in another environment and can see how they take life easy. Trust me, if you were working and your kids were in daycare or under another care you'll still be worried. So enjoy these moments, no one is rushing you. Mother these kids of yours and trust me, your husband will love you more because if there's anything men want, it's a HOME. You can always get back to your career when the kids get to a certain age but don't get into FOMO because of your kids. Enjoy every bit of it, record your time with them. Family is the bedrock of every society. I'm very sure there's something you'll find out there that you will do in that society, it could be teaching language, it could be something that has to do with kids. Don't regret missing out but continue learning and taking those online courses. Trust me, you will note this down later in life. The foundation you give your kids at this stage will help them for LIFE and your mind will be at ease when you are older.

I love your originality, you are so real. Hopefully you guys could make something reasonable over there and leave there back home or to Europe or America. No place like home.
I completely agree with you on this video, my dear sister from Benue. I am currently in Scotland and have never thought of living abroad except for holidays as your home is home. But the situation was becoming unbearable in all aspects, even with the tireless work I put in. My major and final fear was the safety of all I have in my life (family). I have a Bsc. Psychology but never made use of it as there were no jobs until I got here and realised myself. My everyday prayer now is for GOD to continue to help us as HE has already helped us with all. But, let's also tell ourselves the bitter truth and see if this helps us. (Do you think Nigeria will ever get better?)
This is the story of most persons who decided to pick their bags and leave. One may judge us for not being patriotic but how long should we have waited for things to get better? How about the monthly remittances we send home? Isn’t that still contributing to the growth of our economy? It amuses me when someone accuses us of being unpatriotic. With what’s happening to economies across the world, I doubt if Nigeria will get better. Even economies that are being managed properly are struggling, let alone ours that is manned by selfish, irresponsible, clueless leaders. Regardless, there’s nothing that the Lord cannot do. We continue to hope and pray. Thank you so much for watching my videos dear brother. I appreciate you. Here’s wishing you the best as you navigate the UK.

I think from the 1st of the vid sister, u been just a bit wrong. Life there is not bad, the problem was that u and ur man wasn't used to be and had to become Independent, and also about those called """FRIENDS""" U should remove all these useless worries, which most important is who is ur friend will be always in touch with u and so, but otherwise also with all due respect IF IF IF u both are not Muslims then OF COURSE u will find all these challenges from Allah kind of difficult. Th problem is not the life in Saudi butu not being independent and also u putting much price on those friendships instead of just focusing on ur family, husband child education and especially focusing n ur purpose in this world. U don't have to beg anyone for anything JUST BE U and unless u have a good sorry u wont have to pursue people but they will follow u naturally. Lot of people and even men can't even coock 2 eggs n the pan... Be Independent and Dependent of Allah.

Thank you very much for your solid advice. It is very much appreciated. Though I am no longer in Saudi Arabia, your points will further help in moulding me to become a better person even here. Thank you.
