I loved this Glenn Tipton announced the song Starbreaker which is a rarity Rob Halford usually announced the songs and another thing this is the first time I have heard this one live from the Sin After Sin album. The only two I have heard through the years was Sinner and Diamonds And Rust. Thank you so much for this rarity called Starbreaker from Sin After Sin

One of my ALL TIME FAVORITE SONGS FROM MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BAND.
I think it's hilarious Rob forgot the Lyrics to the 2nd Verse but he covered it up like a pro.
Not to mention, a small DRUM SOLO FROM LES BINKS!!
I'd love to have this entire Concert on DVD!!

Nah I disagree about them not being “there”. They had just released their magnum opus and were set into their peak creativity. Now that’s not saying they never hit that peak again cause they definitely have several times since, but there was a clear vision and sound on stained class. I know this song is from sin after sin, but the point still stands for me anyway.

They wanted a more straight ahead drummer to break the American market. Yes, Binks is an incredible drummer. Holland was a great drummer also. He had a great swing and groove, and is underrated in his part in Priests history. He did what the "big 3" told him to play. Tipton and Halford fired Binks and hired Holland. Blame them for both. Like I said, I 100% agree that Binks was a superior drummer over Holland as far as what JP sounded like, but I an quite tired of what others have said about Holland's drumming. He did exactly what THEY wanted.

I thought Les Binks left because he wasn’t big on touring massively or making it big with Judas Priest; At least according KK’s autobiography.

@@19megamustaine85, I'm not sure what you mean. I never mentioned KK .Do you mean what Holland had going on in his personal life? I'm not talking about that. I am strictly speaking about Dave Holland the drummer. His personal life is not the topic of my comments.
Judas Priest took a cheap shot at their own history when they re-packaged British Steel, and knowingly credited Scott Travis. This was an intentional rewriting of metal history in the same likes as Sharon and Ozzy Osborne re recording the first 2 Blizzard of Ozz albums because the both no longer liked Bob Daisley & Lee Kerslake. If you are willing to accept that this band thinks you are stupid enough to NOT notice, then have at it.

I remember seeing them twice with Les Binks. Beside being infinitely better than Dave Holland as a drummer (and I'm a drummer saying that), he also did this thing where he'd sometimes stand up while doing drum fills. Can't think of anyone else who's done that.
