4:13 is one of my favorite MBMBaM moments ever. Justin winds up, Griffin realizes what he's about to do just too late, and through the cacophony of soundboard noises you can just make out the sound of Travis saying "Ah, Jesus Christ." It so perfectly sums up what I love about MBMBaM.
"No, uh, I'm trying to fight some, um... Rock vampires. And this is the only way I'm gonna be able to get close to 'em." I don't remember the drumstick part of Battle Tendency.
When they were talking about the cornbread festival, as soon as they said it was in Tennessee, my immediate thought process was "of-fucking-course it's in my state. Why WOULDN'T it be in Tennessee?"
I'm sorta disappointed they aren't reviving the BookIt program. I'm sure it wasn't the most profitable thing ever, but it was a lot of fun for the kids who had it growing up.
I've got a friend who WENT to the Detroit live show disaster and he has no idea what went wrong so I'm honestly just...mystified, so much. What HAPPENED???
i recall reading that reptiles' brains dont produce the chemicals that produce feelings associated with love and affection.* so no, your crocodile friend probably won't give you a hug when you reunite. i dont remember how reliable the source was so dont hold me to that
Just sit on the floor 😂 I can’t imagine LEAVING my grandma’s house because I couldn’t find a chair. I had a 2 hour science class without enough chairs and I had to stand the whole time but I didn’t just go home lmao
This kinda makes me sad..... P’zones were just discontinued for this year..... and I thought 2020 couldn’t get any worse. This isn’t a joke. I genuinely love them. And I will fight anyone for one.
Randomly picked this podcast to listen to as my first outside of animated sections, are they always pushing for donations this hard? No problem with them mentioning it every few sections or so but they get into multi-minute discussions about how to pay them
I know someone else said it, but MaxFunDrive is a 1/year thing by their publisher (Maximum Fun). I don't think they explained it as well as Judge John Hodgman. Basically, the publisher uses little to no advertiser dollars and relies on direct cash from listeners to pay artists and technicians and other staff.
Nothing terrible, they just got into a bit about Star Wars and spend most of the show talking about it. It just became a running gag that they fucked up and act like they feel really bad about it.
It's slowly gotten to the point where there's less than 30 mins of content, and the rest is just sponsored ads, self promotion, and constant trying to get their wives podcasts too even though they aren't funny. Go back and listen to the first 200 episodes, the whole episodes were jokes except for 5-10 minutes of ads.
It's a fundraiser drive. For one episode. If there's been any change in the amount of product placement outside the Money Zone (you know, the designated commercial break) I haven't noticed.

fantastic
travis talking in the background was what did it for me
crying with laughter at this
They just keep deteriorating and getting more and more off track and I love it.
There is no deficit. That assumes attention is even possible.
Les Chaps s

Travis its time to give justin and griffin the stinky boot. no more ‘my brother my brother and me’ now... its ‘me’
travis's bad jokes and justin's soundboard might be the bane of griffin's existence but they fuel mine
Gizmo ! First of all sAme Second of all,,,, respec to a fellow monbebe 😌👊
@@ellerussell2074 oh hello! it's always nice to meet another monbebe 👊😌💕
TRAVIS YOU MEAN SO MUCH TO ME
the soundboard bit has given me multiple asthma attacks from laughing too hard but I keep coming back to it
Why is the Toronto soundbite so funny? I don’t know.
LISTEN!
It's been six months since this McElroy recommendation and I have been super satisfied with my vintage GoodBeats
Everytime I hear "TORONTO" a year is added to my life
Heisting for money or jewels? Weak.
Heisting for that delicious cornbread? Fleek.
The guitar store bit is so visceral...so familiar...and yet, not familiar
"No, uh, I'm trying to fight some, um... Rock vampires. And this is the only way I'm gonna be able to get close to 'em."
I don't remember the drumstick part of Battle Tendency.
Is this a JoJo refrence?!
I feel like Travis started pulling out all the stops after the Shazaam joke. Killing it
18:50 i never noticed griffin getting ignored here and it makes the addition of hammy sagar so much better
'Can Shazam vote?' got me so bad that I started to choke on the candy I'm eating.
The phrase "young people with vaginas" is just so great for a million reasons I can't even begin to articulate, I love the brothers.
When they were talking about the cornbread festival, as soon as they said it was in Tennessee, my immediate thought process was "of-fucking-course it's in my state. Why WOULDN'T it be in Tennessee?"
friend if you are tired of the sweet sweet cornbread you are more than welcome to send All Of It to me in wisconsin C:
For a second I thought one of the stretch goals was gonna be bringing back jingles or MAYBE the gooshie tapes and I got so so excited
I love them being like "fork over more money for literacy Pizza Hut. Cowards"
I'm sorta disappointed they aren't reviving the BookIt program. I'm sure it wasn't the most profitable thing ever, but it was a lot of fun for the kids who had it growing up.
justin, slamming his hands on to the soundboard: :3c
Air Conditioning Dave Coulier is my favorite band
Travis is the funniest brother.
I've got a friend who WENT to the Detroit live show disaster and he has no idea what went wrong so I'm honestly just...mystified, so much. What HAPPENED???
Your friend happened.
Your friend happened.
Someone fill me in. Did they do a live episode that went wrong?
The secret is that they did a long Star Wars based bit and they feel really self conscious about it. Nothing even remotely bad happened during it.
I watched Shazam, it was the first DC movie that was entertaining, AND good.
I dunno, Aquaman was pretty fun and good
entertaing sure, good no.
Oh my God! That's a week's worth of bees!!!

TH-cam hasn't notified me of new uploads in two weeks... TH-cam hates MaxFunDrive.
everytime these straight white men say something casually trans and queer inclusive I’m always blown away
I said it once, I said it 100000000000 times. Travis is the sexiest brother
Travis, is that you?
Pizza Hut dose NEED to bring back the bigfoot pizza though!
Damn. I wasn’t notified.
TH-cam didn’t notify me of this. Lame. Now I’m 6 minutes late. Haha
I'm sorry, did we just skate over Neil Peart for famous drummers?
I didnt like bubble bathes as a lil kid because i was scared bc I couldn't see under the water
They got real close to accidentally spoiling Shazam.
I dunno why it bothers me so much, but in the drumsticks segment they never even bring up the possibility of it being for a costume
This kinda makes me sad.....
P’zones were just discontinued for this year..... and I thought 2020 couldn’t get any worse.
This isn’t a joke. I genuinely love them. And I will fight anyone for one.
I never knew Hammy Sagar watched anime
But when are you releasing the Gooshie tapes?
I think about this constantly
come to toronto
justin. justin, please. did you just say " _jif_ "?? as in, gif??
Jriffin
Aly Aboumansour your existence has been placed upon this plane by the wrath of the gods as punishment for our hubris
TRAVIS NOOOOO
Torontno
Big hearts
Muh Slim Slam
I thought Shazam existed already
No views? I'll change that.
Randomly picked this podcast to listen to as my first outside of animated sections, are they always pushing for donations this hard? No problem with them mentioning it every few sections or so but they get into multi-minute discussions about how to pay them
Nah. It's something they just do, like, once a year
I know someone else said it, but MaxFunDrive is a 1/year thing by their publisher (Maximum Fun). I don't think they explained it as well as Judge John Hodgman. Basically, the publisher uses little to no advertiser dollars and relies on direct cash from listeners to pay artists and technicians and other staff.
It makes me sad that no one used the pun "Munch Madness" while talking about the pzone.
what was so bad about the Detroit episode
Nothing terrible, they just got into a bit about Star Wars and spend most of the show talking about it. It just became a running gag that they fucked up and act like they feel really bad about it.
29:40
The newer episodes are 45% self promotion for their other products 45% corporate sponsor ads and 10% jokes
Fact
Boy, do I hate the max fun drive
wHy
Saaaaaame. They repeat the same shit for 10 minutes for two weeks straight, 3 times an episode. I get they are looking for suport but WE GET IT.

It's almost as if they need money now
