    even though this car has tried to brake my back and bones through the years, I'm very thankfull that it has never broken down and has done it's hard labor with no effort at all. It is really the best working horse ever built!

    What a dream to own one of these brand new 70 Series! Personally, I think white is THE color for these Land Cruisers. I own an old :-( white HZJ75 and everyday I dream of having a brand new 78!
    The Land Cruiser is not a car, is a LEGEND!

    Hi Marco,
    Thanks for your comment.
    We agree that the factory paint-job is unbeatable. We hold six hundred vehicles in stock, ready for immediate shipment but all of these come from the factory white.
    Occasionally customers request that we change the colour of these vehicles, but they cannot wait 12 weeks for a factory delivery so we repaint them in order to meet their requirements.
    Trust this information will help you understand our operations a bit better.

    I own a pretty standard diesel 2.4 LN110 truck which I use for hard work, and it's just great, but I say this one is a hell of a rig, beautifully fitted out with everything you REALLY need, no frills or useless extras for posy people. Great job, folks !

  • @ToyotaGibraltar

    Hi Gayan,
    It means a lot more work taking components of the inner wings and bulkhead to be able to paint. For the aid market this is not required.

    I want one, I noticed they have the updated dash but the 1HD-FTE 6 cly turbo engine. Wish we could get them in AUS but we only have the common rail v8 and all it's problems! Very nice attention to detail with the accessory fit out. That's how all Toyota dealers should be, some in AUS unfortunately can't be said the same. Can't beat a landcruiser!

  • @ToyotaGibraltar

    Hi Arda86ca,
    We stock the vehicles in Gibraltar so we can ship them swiftly to where they are needed, due to the easy reach of the Mediterranean ports we have nearby.
    The vehicles we stock are in factory white colour. If a customer requires vehicle(s) in a different colour we will re-spray them to accommodate their needs, using the process illustrated in the video above.
    Thanks for your query,

    This may just be me. But when i picked up my brand new 76 series, if i had opened the bonnet on delivery inspection and had found the engine bay a different colour, i would have gone off me head.
    Im not sure about other countries, but at nearly a $70 000 AUD price tag here in Aus, i would expect the vehicle to come from the factory in the colour i chose. Not putting the colour on after it has already been painted.

    At 10:42, inflating a split rim this way is THE most dangerous thing you can do. If not seated correctly the ring can be ejected and seriously injure or kill someone.
    They should always be inflated in a cage, or at least under the vehicle chassis to lessen the risk of injury.

      this car are for africa and australia. they don't mach with the safety-standarts of the usa and future safety-standarts of the eu. that is why you can't buy a land rover defender in the usa and in 2015 in the eu.

    • @raefordroadauto1
      @raefordroadauto1 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      its not Toyota . its the USA .
      if they think its not safe enough , meaning pay more money to make it safer to their standards then its a no go
      so much for land of the free . i fucking hate it lol .

      I wish we could get USA trucks in Australia our terrain is perfect for them.
      Some guys import a limited number to NewZealand do the conversion and send them to Australia. Tundras, rams, chev but they cost $120,000-$130 plus. Check Arctic trucks.com Prado style

    • @datrumate7375
      @datrumate7375 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      +PureCountryof91 Our strict emissions requirements prevents us from getting it. Plus its diesel, something the U.S. government hates.

    • @datrumate7375
      @datrumate7375 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      dannyrocks777 Not possible, Ford isn't going to do that to a American icon. Plus any foreign pickup or van not made in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico will be slapped with the infamous chicken tax.

    • @datrumate7375
      @datrumate7375 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Randy Watts Your terrain may be perfect, but the sales have always been dismal when they were officially available. Reasons; Australians prefer diesel, Americans prefer Petrol. Even our diesel trucks would be considers as gas guzzlers to many Australians. When the Ford F-250 was officially available in Australia, the base price was AUS$60,000 new, so that deterred many Australians. The reason was because of the LHD to RHD conversion process. So at the moment in Australia, there's no way to get a Lexus like Toyota Tundra Platinum for AUS$ 42, 699.99

    Who'll balance the tyres after removing them from the rim and re fitting them back ?

    • @An2oine
      @An2oine 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You take chalk and mark the tire where the valve location and then the split location on the ring. It will be close if not perfect.
      Remember, this is for fixing a flat in the middle of "no where".

    • @kentbrochman4150
      @kentbrochman4150 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      these are intended for off roading, not formula 1 racing. balancing is not really required unless you are going 40 to 50 mph or higher all the time. Like in the US, not the Savanah
