I hope you guys liked this little bit of a longer video of me going through my process while watching. There is a lot of personal connections she has with this song. Which really shows. Add that to the context of the Anime, brings out strong emotions with a river of tears 😭. She’s truly a vocal gem.

i'm the same age as lisa, and she's always been my celebrity crush lol. I started watching her when she first came out. Her powerful voice and control were always her strong points, but this is really the result of a decade of incredibly hard work. She's improved so much from when she first started.

LiSA and BABYMETAL have been good friends for years. BABYMETAL uploaded new song in The First Take channel a few day ago. That is also beautiful and stunning performance in a totally different vocal style.)

@@BohdanMelnychuk You can find at least two photos in the net with keywords - LiSA BABYMETAL -. One was taken in December 2020 with Su and Moa, the other was probably in 2013 with Su, Moa and Yui. LiSA doing fox sign in both photos😄 .
LiSA has been making me emotional for well over a decade now. Her work on the soundtrack for Angel Beats is how i came to know about her. If you find the time i would like for you to listen to Ichiban no Takaramono, the Yui version specifically which is the one done by LiSA. Preferably with lyrics on hand or in a video. It still gets me even now 😢

What an amazing reaction Andrea! You really connected with LiSA and I appreciate your honestly in the reaction and your insight. No need to apologize about tearing up. LiSA always makes me tear up. She's amazing. She has the ability to, like you said, go to another place and channel so much of her emotion into her singing, that no matter the language, it hits you, and speaks directly to you. She's a perfectionist, she sings very clearly, with such control, but a fascinating thing about her is that she sings with such intensity and emotion that it breaks that perfection of vocal delivery, and you hear little cries and cracks in her voice sometimes where the emotion started to get to be too much even for her, and it makes the performance go to a completely higher level. Like you, I don't know many singers who can sing with this intensity, honestly and delivery of emotion. It's a special gift of hers. Like you said, it's real, and she risks losing control of it sometimes. She has, in concerts. Emotional is beautiful. It's great to see singers get emotional. Something I noticed is that comedians aren't laughing when other comedians perform, it's very sad really.

Two artists I highly recommend checking out on The First Take are 優里(Yuuri), 三浦大知(Daichi Miura). For Yuuri, Betelgeuse, Leo, and Dry Flower are extremely popular. And for Daichi, I recommend 燦燦(San San). You will definitely fall more in love with both of their voices if you like Lisa.
