Can't wait to see how it looks when you put the outdoor appliances into place and then you should invite us over for a "On the Moose" party. 😂 Great job.
OH YEA...I have done something like that before,,I took it to a Friday nite Pensacola,Florida Art Sale Street Fair and The Pensacola Museum of Art bought it from me. Let's do this ..I knew you would have a bar to sit down and eat at and look over those beautiful mountains and wildlife..Ya'll are gonna love that,,shoot the only time you will be in that cabin is to sleep. Now you gotta build to stools to match that bar. lov and peace from South Alabama.
You gonna have Air BnBs everywhere on that mountain..Black metal brackets of some type would have looked good to attach it to the floor and something black somewhere else...hell , I know you follow me. GORGEOUS STUFF right there GORGEOUS.---------------------TRUST HUMANITY...THE BEST IS YET TO COME.
You really gonna leave us with a bear behind? Thanks for another entertaining and educational video. I saw some recommendations in the comments for tractor seat stools. Old tractor seats are pretty comfortable. If you're concerned about liability from the stools tipping over, mount the seats on a couple of old beer or wine kegs. Should be a sufficient and broad enough base to hold up even a portly built old sole such as I. Another suggestion, save some of your tree limbs and use them to make a hand rail when you build your stairs from the cabin. We're still waiting to see where you're gonna hang your dinner bell.
Now you need 2 find some old time tractor seat bar stools. The iron kind from the 30s. We got a pair made for us by our neighbor and they set outside year round. Very comfortable and interesting conversation piece
It’s Friday! Chop saw, skill saw, hand saw, chain saw, sawsall, jig saw……….plus sanding! You’re over the top this week on your post! 😊 Another informative and entertaining video Patrick. It would have been perfect with one of your exotic lunches though. Have a great weekend.😊
Once again great video like I always say you always put a smile on my face 😅 with the humor, Everything looks amazing I just love the bar awesome !!!!! Looking forward for your next video Until then may god watch over you on this amazing projects 🙏❤️✌🏼
Thanks for the nice day out Patrick, the weather was great, I miss Pacific weather, we get Atlantic weather in Scotland, which is mainly cloudy, rain and dreich as our rain maximum is 4m/13ft/year. I'm doing a metal wall myself, I bought roofing but ran out and couldn't get any more of the same colour, so I replaced it with black, and I am using the old roofing for a metal wall which will be next to the BBQ area. I have been using Torx screws for a while now, I find them far better than Philips as you can put them in confidently then get them out again just as easily, and not damage the head.
Very good video and the bar looks amazing. Well done. The view is unbelievable. You have a beautiful ranch. Maybe you could make a couple of bar stools with the left over wood you have. I think it will be perfect for your kitchen.❤
I’ll have a whiskey 🥃 on the rocks please Bartender! Great job Patrick, love the bar table! When’s the homestead party at the cabin? I hope I’m invited 🤔
You should have asked for help with that plank. What do you mean it's not lunch time yet? That trick with the square thru the deck was pretty cool, I would not have thought of it.
Hey Patrick, as I was watching you finish up the table, I was thinking if you made a matching bench that looked just like the table that would look awesome. Just a thought. Thanks for another great video.
Hey Patric , enjoy your videos. - How about building a little rough Stone or wood wood store for the fire pit so there is some dry wood close by to the pit for winter guests ?
Nice job 👍, now when you build yr stools can u put some back support, I’m getting old, if not still waiting on that chair to be built or rocker either one will do, so I can sit back and enjoy the view. 😂
The moonset reminded me of an argument I had with someone after mentioning the days when the sun and the moon were both visible at the same time. Short argument. I don't keep going after I tell them it's possible to view both at the same time. Also, solar eclipses wouldn't happen unless it was possible.
Bar top looks awesome! Maybe I missed it, but did you add a piece of blocking underneath the floor to support the ends of the deck boards where you cut the hole? Cheers to you!🍻
Hey thanks! That was my original intention, but may forgo that. Those boards are 2x6’s, so pretty stout. Since the posts are independently fastened, there’s no real weight on them, and they won’t be in the foot path. Thanks for asking!🙏
Hi Patrick. Love the bar. What happened to the end piece that you cut so meticulously with the saw before you used the chainsaw? Or did the split in half ruin your plan? I am sure it will be just fine the way it is though 🙂
On the next video, you should eat bear chili on your new countertop. It turned out great.
I will do that soon! Thank you.🙏
Good morning from Jamaica 🇯🇲. Wow, I love how things are coming together. There's nothing like an old, trusty hand saw , always keep one in my toolbox
Indeed and good morning, Jamaica! 🙏
Love it. The view while you eat your lunch at the bar will be wonderful. Great job as always.
Indeed it will. Thanks for being here!🙏
I am glad to see that you finally raised the bar. Lol. Love your video style and your work.
Finally! 😅Thank you kindly.🙏
Nice work Patrick! I really look forward to your weekly episodes and the way you deal with the projects of the day.
Thank you! I appreciate you being here.🙏
That peninsula bar is awesome ... what a great place to hang out or even do some computer work..
I agree! And I appreciate you watching.🙏
Can't wait to see how it looks when you put the outdoor appliances into place and then you should invite us over for a "On the Moose" party. 😂
Great job.
Hey thank you! I really wish I could.🙏
Excellent bar, i would love to just spend some time leaning there and drinking in the scenery. A beautiful place you have there Patrick.
Thank you! “Drinking in the scenery” for sure.🙏

Hey great story! I know…I should buckle down and make some stools..
Lov and peace back!🙏

Bar top looks fantastic. Can't imagine a much better spot to enjoy the view. Nice job.
Thank you! I agree, it’s tough to beat.🙏
You really gonna leave us with a bear behind?

Why thank you, Frank! Good to hear from you. 🙏
Enjoyed the bar making. Thank you.
Fantastic! Thank YOU for being here.🙏
You are the best sander, bar none. Nice work!
Dang I wish I would have thought of that one!😅

Talking to yourself is fine Patrick, apparently answering back is the issue 😂 Thanks for letting us listen
He wasn't talking to himself, he was having a staff meeting.😅
Good one!!😂
I rarely answer back!
(Because he’s so argumentative..😂)
Can we get a special video of just you sanding? It puts me to sleep so fast. I’d play it every night 😂

Next week!
Now you need 2 find some old time tractor seat bar stools. The iron kind from the 30s. We got a pair made for us by our neighbor and they set outside year round. Very comfortable and interesting conversation piece
Hmmm….not a bad idea. I think the stools are still up in the air. Good neighbor! 🙏
You have such a beautiful place! I really like that outdoor kitchen. It's really going to look nicer with all the ideas you have for the area.
Thank you so much! I’m blessed, for sure. And thankful you’re here.🙏

I know I almost went back to count the number of tools I used! Thanks for being here. 🙏
Enjoyed this video! PS... I survived Hurricane Helene in SWFL wearing my "Life on the Moose" Tee shirt!! Having the Power stay on helped!! Dean
Wow I can advertise Moose Merch as survival gear! 🤔
Thank you and glad you’re ok.🙏

Ah cool project! And I agree with you on the torx, much better!
Enjoy the video thank you …. Tiny ( Len Price ) Houston MS
Thanks! Glad you made it.🙏

Thank you for your kind words! 🙏
I thought of making a couple, but not sure I want the liability! 🤔😅
Awesome job, as usual!
🙏
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!🙏
Dear sir I love you so much ❤❤🎉🎉
I love you back so much!🙏
Thank you again, have to agree with others. No lunch or dinner? Or at least a glass of wine on that new bar😂
I will do better!🙏
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching it!
Buongiorno e buon lavoro
Thank you!🙏
Looks good! Set 'um up and cheers.
🍺🙏
A+ Build
🙏
I agree....
I’ll have a whiskey 🥃 on the rocks please Bartender! Great job Patrick, love the bar table! When’s the homestead party at the cabin? I hope I’m invited 🤔
Good choice! Hopefully soon.🙏
I like it.
You should have asked for help with that plank. What do you mean it's not lunch time yet? That trick with the square thru the deck was pretty cool, I would not have thought of it.
I thought you were going to put the end piece back on the bottom edge
You caught that! 🎯That was my plan, but after seeing it up, not sure I want it there.
Thanks for asking!
So once your done with the kitchen, what next? Maybe a catio for your overlords😽-good huumans!
That will be down the road!
Perhaps I’ll reveal the next project in the next few videos..Thanks for watching!🙏
Hey Patrick, as I was watching you finish up the table, I was thinking if you made a matching bench that looked just like the table that would look awesome. Just a thought. Thanks for another great video.
Hmmm….I do like that idea. Thank you!🙏
With all the extra rocks line the steps after you cut them in 😊
That was a serious consideration! Good suggestion.🙏
I want that kitchen
It’s mine, all mine! And Karen’s…😬
Hopefully you can enjoy it vicariously. 🙏
After watching TV last night I have to admit that I may have miss-spoke about the bar stools. 😳
🤔😅
Hey Patric , enjoy your videos. - How about building a little rough Stone or wood wood store for the fire pit so there is some dry wood close by to the pit for winter guests ?
Ahhh great minds think alike! I have an idea, whether or not it gets implemented..
Nice job 👍, now when you build yr stools can u put some back support, I’m getting old, if not still waiting on that chair to be built or rocker either one will do, so I can sit back and enjoy the view. 😂
I’ll work on that!🙏
That poly coating should keep the ketchup and mustard from soaking in. Good Job.
It should!
Hey Patrick when is de bar open😂? I Will come from belgium😁. Prachtig werk en wat een uitzicht 🥰. Love your work👍.
It never closes! 🙏
👍
Ya. But I was a cold night waiting for you....
The moonset reminded me of an argument I had with someone after mentioning the days when the sun and the moon were both visible at the same time. Short argument. 💯true!
I just remembered I painted The World map on a round log like that ,,,I wish I hadn't of sold it.
Oh wow!
Bar top looks awesome! Maybe I missed it, but did you add a piece of blocking underneath the floor to support the ends of the deck boards where you cut the hole? Cheers to you!🍻

Hi Patrick. Love the bar. What happened to the end piece that you cut so meticulously with the saw before you used the chainsaw? Or did the split in half ruin your plan? I am sure it will be just fine the way it is though 🙂
Hey good eye!
By the time I put the top trim piece on there, I decided it didn’t need that slice. I appreciate you mentioning it!🙏
I'm seeing tractor seat bar stools bolted into the floor (for obvious reasons) on the outside of that bar top. Two at least.
🤔🤔
Fall air? It hit 97 here in south central Montana today.
That’s warm! We had that heat spell roll through here, as well.
Are you leaning toward bar stools?
Or on them! 😅 Yes, but not sure I want to build them.
What kinda outfit are you running, no lunch, no chill….
lol I know! Now when I miss lunch, I feel hungry AND guilty! 😅
How many times does a tree "Bark" ❓ I will answer next show.
🤔Once?
@@LifeontheMoose You will be surprise about all the "Bark" it also might be the wrong tree 😂
