What people have or dont have, doesnt change the facts though. I have had three 3 mm bare reactives since 2020 and i absolutely love it. It is perfect for the salt and freshwaters i dive. I find 5 mil and anything higher is just a failure at keeping warm. Scubapro makes a really "cheap" drysuit at the lower end at 1000 usd and will keep you incredibly warm. At the higher end there is the waterproof D7X that will literally sweat you out of an ice dive with the right undergarments. I have never dove with a grp of people in 7 mm's and heard someone say "man that was an incredible dive" ! Im not picking on the video. I like everything you guys make. I simply would encourage any diver that can afford diving as a habit .... spring for the drysuit ! Specifically fresh water divers .... it is a game changer ! Cert is fast and easy and youll never miss another dive because of the cold.

I prefer the XCEL Thermoflex with the bamboo inner liner. Great Neo and super flexible. I use for anything down to 12c.

Till this moment we didn't dive with the XCEL ThermoFlex, but it looks really good!

I got a question I dove in California and I want a 5mm wetsuit for mobility but one that keeps me as warm as a traditional 7mm is this the wetsuit for that?

Thanks for the review. LOVE Bare.
Now I'm thinking whether to get this suit or another, more tradition semi-dry like Hollis NeoTek or Beuchat X Trem. Any thoughts?
Will be used for 2-3hrs dives in ~15c degrees.
    Thanks

I would go for a proper semi-dry like the ones you mentioned. For me it would def be to cold in the reactive with those temperatures for that long! I would even consider a dry suit

Just got my bard reactive...fits pretty snug. Went for a quick dip in a pool. I gave it a good rinse. Can you do a video on post dive maintenance?

hey just curious, after a few uses how did you find the suit fit compared to when you bought it ?

@@coldwind57 I really like it...it seals up nicely and does a great job keeping you warm. It is a bit stiff, but, after you get in the water...you don't notice it. Im happy with it.

@@xbpbat21x thanks for the quick reply, when you wore it in store how tight did you have it, was it almost uncomfortable level of tight while brand new in store and dry

@@coldwind57 I had to order it...it is why i chose bare, they had the most measurements that fit me. I have a funny shape 😄. But, it fits snug...not uncomfortable...but snug. The sleeves are a bit long...but, I'm short. I guess it was a bit restrictive...but, i don't think it was any worse than any other suit.

There are TWO dive outfits. A 3 mm and a drysuit. That is all.

99% of divers do not share the same opinion, not everyone has € 2,000 for a dry suit, and not everyone wants to dive in a dry suit
