Clinique as a brand does not get the love it deserves. Even before the whole war on fragrance in skincare, Clinique has always been fragrance-free in the skincare and makeup. People say it is an “old fashioned” brand yet they were ahead of the curve there.
I’d say: “Old but gold.” I love Clinique❣️ Used it since my teenage years, and still using it. I love how their products are fragrance free, since my skin (in my face) doesn’t particularly love fragranced products. Also I quite enjoy using their mascaras. Especially when I am going for an everyday natural, yet defined look. Thumbs up for this brand!
Clinique silk balanced foundation is the only foundation that has ever made my skin feel so much better with it on. I bought an extra bottle long before I began running out because I love it so much.
Never tried their foundations bc my skin has never really liked their moisturizers. I guess I associate the two. Their liquid liner is the only liner that does not irritate my eyes in any way. I love their lipsticks though I can no longer find my favorite tender heart. I enjoy their blushes, powder and perhaps my favorite product is their eye brightening pen, like their version of the ysl pen. Feel Clinique is constantly underrated.

Clinique products generally are underrated. I think their lipsticks, their mascaras and their cheek pops are great. They had a limited edition mascara in Black Honey - that’s hands down the best mascara I’ve ever used.

I’m sure if you go to any of the dept store counters they’d be happy to give you a sample. They are struggling right now anyone at their counters helps. Even if it’s just a try on and sample. Good luck in school!

I slapped a tiny bit of this from a sample on my face one day with my fingers and I couldn't believe the results. This is the foundation I have been looking for all my life. You need hardly any of it, it's so easy to apply and it makes your skin look perfect and no one can tell you're even wearing makeup.
Your review inspired me to buy this product....AND I LOVE IT!! You're completely right, for a full coverage foundation it looks so nice on the skin and doesn't look cakey or heavy whatsoever. Looks very natural for the amount of coverage it has. So pleased with this foundation, definitely a new favorite.

I worked for Clinique years ago and always find that they needed to revisit the shade range of their complexion products, the products are good but it is hard to find a shade and for many of them the undertone is very different than any other foundation and concealer

I am so surprised with the results of this foundation. Judging by the description I would have run when I saw the ingredients. If I can find my correct shade this would be nice to have when I want a heavier coverage. I got the same shade as a sample, and I AGREE! And I'm combo leaning oily. This is crazy, as I've never had any luck with serum foundations. I think this is probably the best foundation I've seen on you, maybe ever?? I liked this better than the other good foundations you've tried. You look so young and youthful!
I find all neutral, run warm. I mix with a light pink undertone, with all my foundations. Really nice that this foundation not oxidize. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻. Finally.

I received a sample of it in CN52 and was amazed how it evens out the skin and how flawless it looks! My brown spots were covered! The only issue to find the correct shade. CN52 is definitely too deep for me, too

I told myself this foundation would be a no go for me as my skin is very dry and salicylic acid would most likely not do it any favors, but I am taking a second look at this one!
I just got this makeup and I ordered it online so I was worried about the shade I picked. I received the tube formula of the E.L. Even Better in the shade Breeze. I tested it and I'm very pleased with my choice. The shade is perfect for me. It is a VF very fair shade with a touch of pink, which is ideal for my skintone. I took a trip to the Clinique counter and they just this foundation in. The Clinique consultant gave me a very generous sample to take home...enough for 2 weeks! Anyway, the shade “neutral” (a lighter neutral) was just absolutely perfect!! I love the way it looks and feels!!! I am definitely going to purchase this foundation...it’s a real WOW 🤩!!!

Adore this foundation. I wear the lightest shade. Love the slight glow and the full coverage. Lasts well throughout the day. Don't care how much it costs either.

What a great find! I've been using a Too Faced foundation for a few years and was wanting to try something else. This Clinique foundation looks amazing and the fact that it hasn't really moved all day is what we all hope for (and at a good price point)!
Was hoping this color was a match for you since I think I’d be the same. I started using the even better again and was curious if the serum would’ve been the better choice for my dry skin. Now I’m trying to figure out which color would work. Haven’t had the best of luck w the ladies at the counter.
I just bought the concealer and foundation and tried it out. It exaggerates bumps and texture and pores. I'm not so sure I can wear this. It also reminds me of the wet n wild photo focus foundation to the T and even smells like it for some reason. My skin is congested though, fine lines and wrinkles also 😃 I've worn the even better in my 20s and it worked great but then again my skin was younger!
I was so interested in this foundation , because i have acne and I am currently treating my skin with salicylid acid and other stuff. So very impressed with how it looks on you! thank you Michele
I tend to gravitate towards longer wear foundations like this because they rarely actually wear that long but I do need my foundation to wear about 15-16hrs working 12 hr shifts and allowing for travel time e.t.c that's about how long I have makeup in my face. Most foundations tend to start to look a bit worse for wear a good few hours before they claim on my skin which is normal leaning dry but I wear glasses and have a tendency to touch my face especially when I'm getting tired. I also mix most foundations with the Missha BB cream to get the undertone right being extremely neutral toned which reduces the wear time a bit I imagine 🤷♀️

I have worn Clinique repair wear liquid for years. Wish you would do a video on it. I don’t use concealer with it. It covers my sun spots nicely. Will definitely try this make up line. Looks flawless.on you.

This looks so great! The shade isn’t terrible, gives you a tan look so in a few months, probably passable. I love the Dior Glow foundation, but found it to be too strong in fragrance, definitely going to try this next!
I've always enjoyed your videos of reviews, thank you. This serum claims to suit oily skin whilst I have dry and sensitive sometimes dry combination. Wonder if it felt dry to you. I am using the older version of even better with spf 15. Thanks.
I actually am about your skin tone now that I am looking at my favorite foundations. I am a light shade with a neutral undertone. I wear vellum in my Tom Ford and shade 04 in my Surratt Dew Drop. My Tom Ford is a touch light, but I make it work. It is difficult to shade match with a mask. 💁🏻♀️
Agree with some of the other comments here. I do think Clinique is often forgotten about as a brand. I have been using it for 25+ years now. After your haul, I went and spoke to my Clinique lady. We get the new foundation here in Australia at the end of next week. Based on your review I will certainly be going to get colour matched and get a sample. I am currently really enjoying the Clinique even better glow foundation and find it still looks flawless at the end of the day and doesn’t settle into my lines. I have high hopes for this one myself 😍

Essence and NYX have good color adjusters for tweaking foundation colors. They’re nice for when you need to adjust for seasons.
Elf makes some, too. You have to purchase them from their website, but they don’t change the consistency of the foundation.

My skin is congested though, fine lines and wrinkles also 😃 I've worn the even better in my 20s and it worked great but then again my skin was younger!

I tend to gravitate towards longer wear foundations like this because they rarely actually wear that long but I do need my foundation to wear about 15-16hrs working 12 hr shifts and allowing for travel time e.t.c that's about how long I have makeup in my face. Most foundations tend to start to look a bit worse for wear a good few hours before they claim on my skin which is normal leaning dry but I wear glasses and have a tendency to touch my face especially when I'm getting tired. I also mix most foundations with the Missha BB cream to get the undertone right being extremely neutral toned which reduces the wear time a bit I imagine 🤷♀️

I have worn Clinique repair wear liquid for years. Wish you would do a video on it. I don’t use concealer with it. It covers my sun spots nicely. Will definitely try this make up line. Looks flawless.on you.

This looks so great! The shade isn’t terrible, gives you a tan look so in a few months, probably passable. I love the Dior Glow foundation, but found it to be too strong in fragrance, definitely going to try this next!

This serum claims to suit oily skin whilst I have dry and sensitive sometimes dry combination. Wonder if it felt dry to you. I am using the older version of even better with spf 15.

I actually am about your skin tone now that I am looking at my favorite foundations. I am a light shade with a neutral undertone. I wear vellum in my Tom Ford and shade 04 in my Surratt Dew Drop. My Tom Ford is a touch light, but I make it work. It is difficult to shade match with a mask. 💁🏻♀️
I wear Vellum in Tom Ford but sadly I can’t find a Surratt shade that works - 4 is a bit off - maybe too yellow?
@@theresae6071 It does have a yellow undertone. I can make it work. I prefer my Tom Ford undertone. It is straight neutral vs yellow.
Agree with some of the other comments here. I do think Clinique is often forgotten about as a brand. I have been using it for 25+ years now. After your haul, I went and spoke to my Clinique lady. We get the new foundation here in Australia at the end of next week. Based on your review I will certainly be going to get colour matched and get a sample. I am currently really enjoying the Clinique even better glow foundation and find it still looks flawless at the end of the day and doesn’t settle into my lines. I have high hopes for this one myself 😍
