Yep😊😊! This had JUST arrived at Sephora yesterday (Tue.s April 23rd, 2024). finally😊 I went right over to Sephora to pick one up & when I walked in the girl that works there was stocking them on the shelf at the very same time😊 she handed me one & I couldn't wait to pay for it & get home to try it!👍 And when I did it went on my face very nicely😊 then when I woke up this morning I could tell it was ALREADY working because it started exfoliating my face getting rid of dead skin cells. So I already dropped my Roc retinol correxion max hydration cream now that I have this instead along with my SPF during the day😊👍 Was surprised how fast it works😊
I also hated the Squalane cleanser before I learned how to use it properly 😂. It’s meant to be a first cleanse to remove makeup. So you’re supposed to apply it to dry skin like a cleansing oil. Then emulsify with water. Once I used it that way, it was great!
I recently learnt how to use a cleansing oil on DRY skin (not on wet skin) and it makes a massive difference, but I haven't used it like that with The Ordinary's Squalene oil yet. In the past the squalene cleanser left too much of a residue on my skin (just as Miss Ash said), but I will give this apply-on-dry skin approach a go and see if it delivers. Thank you for the suggestion.
It works so much better if you use it like a cleansing oil on dry skin!
I recently watched a video, where he said to emulsify all your balms and oils etc before rinsing off, otherwise if you just wipe it off, you're still left with some cleanser and even makeup left behind.
Agree, rapid results indeed. I just hope they will release an eye cream version as well soon... as I am currently using my Medi8 Retinal Eye cream on alternate nights, due to the recommendation that The Ordinary's Retinal not be used with other retinoids. The Ordinary's Retinal is an amazing product and sooo well formulated.
Thank you so much for sharing 😊
Nadine Baggot did an insta story and agrees. I believe using skincare young helps. The Pink one forgot the name Wow and moisturiser u like I bought after watching you Uk. Brilliant for me. ❤❤❤
This was very helpful! Thank you! ❤
I'm so glad🥰💗
Thank you so much for having the Canadian site to buy from. 🥰🥰🥰
Of course💗🇨🇦
Yes this video is very helpful. Love it….keep these videos coming, please!! Hello to Berkley ❤
Thank you! Will do!
Yes I will try this routine tonight. Have all the products. Received retinol 0.2% few days ago. So happy to follow you.
Wonderful! Hope you enjoy the routine and thanks for the follow 🥰
I love the squalane cleanser. The amino acid serum felt sticky on my skin. I'm interested in the retinal for neck use. I also use tretinoin on my face, but it irritates my neck.
Great night time routine.
Thank you 🤗
I think this mite be a keeper for around my eyes 👀 likeing it so far ❤
That is great to hear 😊
I will be tying the retinal 0.2% on my neck. Great video! 😍
Yay! Thank you🥰
Hi! Do you think our neck’s are less sensitive?
Thanks.. I just got my retinal and am using it on the upper half of my neck and will use up the 1% retinol on the more sensitive lower neck.
That sounds like a great plan👍🏻
Well explained applications. I currently use Tretinoin but may incorporate your routine with it. I feel using the new ordinary retinoid is a step back in strength. Your other suggestions are great as usual. Blessings
That is great to hear🥰 Thank you💗
Thank you, so informative! Can you please suggest a peptide serum for over 50s
Hi, I use the cosrx 6 peptide serum, it's a huge bottle, and can be used as your essence step or your serum step. And the Mary and May 6 peptide serum is another one. But I really like the cosrx one. It hydrates and calms the skin, and has really helped improve my skins texture, keeps it hydrated and plump and healthy. They're my suggestions for multiple peptide products that won't break the budget. AmpleN has a peptide shot product too, you can get it in different sizes, I haven't tried it but I use their ceramide shot and love it. A lot of k beauty skincare has a lot of peptide products and ceramide products that have done wonders for my skin. I'm in my late 40s and my skin is better now than when I was in my 30s. 💞
@@kellysblackcat thank you so much for sharing 😊
I've been using the Retinal for over a month - every night (pretty much). After cleansing I use Ordinary's glycolic acid toner. In the morning I use the toner again, then Vitamin C, then the rest of my skincare routine. Is this too much Glycolic acid? I have age spots (sun spots), dry skin and aging skin. Any other The Ordinary suggestions? I am going to try the Aminco Acid B5 and the cream cleanser u suggested...thx! I've search for a Regimen Builder for age spots, but most are for discolouration due to acne....
Would it help tighten loose skin under the chin?
Can't buy it yet. Maybe not available in Europe. Can't even find it online.
Good to know you're enjoying it! Do you like TO eye serum as much as the NIOD one?
To be completely honest, I do feel the NIOD eye serum works a little better and quicker as it contains more ingredients for signs of aging and it's more advanced than TO eye serum. TO eye serum is lovely though and it's more affordable but if I had to choose I would definitely pick the NIOD one..
@@SincerelyMissAsh appreciate your honesty. I've been using the niod for a few months now and I really like it. I think I'll stick with it :). But I really wanna try this new retinal!
The Retinal is definitely worth trying 😁
Very very helpful video dear tysm again...may I use multi peptide serum before this retinal & azlic acid serum on top of this b4 moisture..right? 😊
I am so happy to hear that 😊
Multi-Peptide before Retinal and Azelaic Acid would be best applied on top of Retinal but before moisturizer..
@@SincerelyMissAsh yes dear.. exactly 💯 will follow that routine.. tysm again 😁☺️
hey Ashley! 🤍 just wondering.. how long does it take to see results from the la roche posay effaclar acne treatment?
Hey! Hard to say for sure as everyone is different but you could possibly see results in a few weeks to a month or sooner it just depends.
I was wondering and this may be far-fetched but can you please help me with a regiment from the ordinary I can tell you what products I do use and if you can tell me AMPM and what goes first what goes next things like that
Sure no problem!!
Hi! Thank you for the video!
Could I continue to use Niacinamide if I start using the Retinal?
Yes absolutely you can!
@@SincerelyMissAsh Thanks! 💛 could I also continue to use the The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion? Alternating them
Did you finally test out the new mineral spf 30 from the line sensitive of Olay? You mentionned the line not long ago so I'm curious. I actually did buy it and it blends SO well and since it has oat colloidal in it it doesn't irrite me. No white cast on my fair skin but I feel darker skin tone would have a minimal to zero white cast too. Also, it gives me a natural finish on my combination skin but I will apply my setting powder to avoid looking shiny during the day when the hot humid summer will knock on my door soon 😊
omg yes! I LOVE it! It's literally my fave drugstore sunscreen due to the fact that it doesn't leave a cast, works amazing under makeup and it's also lightweight and moisturizing. LOVE!
@@SincerelyMissAsh amazing!! Glad to hear that. It is indeed a wonderful product. I am also very happy that Canada and America are starting slowly to improve their physical sunscreens. I love buying locally and avoiding ordering online so the fact I can buy elegant physical spfs 2 minutes away from my home is a relief for me 😉
I've been using the retinal for 12 days. Every day, right around the eyes too Nothing. Is it working? I love the peeling I get from retinol 1%.
You love the peeling? Oh my gosh I cringe every time I get peeling lol!
Just because you are not experiencing peeling doesn't mean it's not working. It means your skin is adjusting well plus Retinal works 11x faster than retinol and it's also one step closer to Retinoic Acid.
Can the Ordinary Multi-Peptide serum be used under the eye or is it necessary to get the Eye Multi-Peptide? Thank you!
I use the Multi-Peptide serum all the time under my eyes and if one can tolerate the serum around the eyes then yes, you can use it instead of the eye serum. The eye serum though does contain Niacinamide and Caffeine that helps with dark circles and puffiness where as the Multi-Peptide serum does contain those two ingredients. It just depends on what you are looking for.
The Multi Peptide Serum does not contain Niacinamide and Caffeine**
I use multi peptides + copper 5 nights a week and the new Retinal the other two nights a week. Do you think this is a safe and beneficial routine?
That is completely fine and yes, it's safe and beneficial 😊
@@SincerelyMissAsh thank you!
Am I the only person that loves yes lol but still finds the amino acids sticky .. its initially watery and applies great but gets quite sticky before it dries down.. although it does dry fast lol 😆 it's prob my crazy skin 😊 can't wait to try the retinal though sounds amazing.. thanks so much for the super informational vid ❤
You are so welcome 💗 Oh really? I don't find the Amino Acids sticky or tacky at all🤔 Perhaps it depends on what is applied before it?
Mixing with Marine Hyaluronics makes AA+B5 not sticky 👍
Can you tell me what Ordinary product I can use for Hyperpigmentation with this routine?
You could incorporate the Alpha Arbutin serum from the Ordinary with this routine
@@SincerelyMissAsh Thank you!
Hi, how is this comperable to KSECRET -SEOUL 1988 Serum Retinal Liposome 2% ?
