You can enable "legacy modes" on the new VDP software by using: VDU 23,0,&C1,1 This lets most software that relied on the legacy modes "just work". Some software unfortunately will still not work quite properly on the new VDP because they use buggy PLOT calls which have been incorrectly documented in the Agon BBC BASIC documentation. The PLOT implementation has been greatly improved and expanded, with several bugs with the PLOT system have been fixed and greater compatibility with the Acorn BBC Micro PLOT system. A typical example of issues resulting from the improved PLOT system is triangles not drawing. This is because the Agon BASIC documentation erroneously said that PLOT 80 would draw a triangle, however this should be PLOT 85. Under the Acorn PLOT system, PLOT 80 is actually a "move relative" command, so does not result in anything being drawn, and it was a bug that the system previously drew triangles for those commands.
