The maxtuck is a tuckable holster, but I do not always tuck when I wear it. Only in those places where i have to have my shirt tucked to look professional. I wear my pant tight at the waist because I couldn't force myself to get a bigger size. Makes me think I'm smaller. I bought a bigger waist pants and it really feels good. If you get the Maxtuck I suggest getting the velcro clips. I'll have a video of those soon. You will have to decide on the fullsize vs the compact.
Alright, here are my thoughts....compact vs full-size the difference in the 45 is two rounds, an inch off the magazine and little over an inch on the barrel. For me, i wanted something compact with the punch. I was carring the 1911. The m&p is smaller and has more rounds. I do not need the extra barrel length for personal protection. I do not use this pistol for long range. With the xgrip I can carry the same number of rounds as the full-size and my m&p still looks nice.
Smith and wesson also makes a 14 round magazine for the full size, it fits in the compact as well however it doesn't look pretty. Just in case you didn't know.
