You convinced me to never buy Winchester .22 ammo ever again. The McCarbo trigger spring kit and replacement trigger do wonders for these LCP II pistols.
I had similar problems out of mine, light primer strikes new out of the box. Almost wrote it off as a defensive tool because of it, but i really wanted it to work for when it does run it fit my needs perfectly. So after some research i found the galloway precision spring kit. It has been one of the most reliable firearms ive ever had since installing that kit. Havent found an ammo it doesnt like after putting that kit in. I keep it clean and it just works now, carry it everywhere i am allowed for the last year or so. Love this pistol.
Sometimes I wish the manufacturer would work closer with the aftermarket industry. The aftermarket usually finds a way to improve a product. Thanks for watching!
Awesome!! I just ordered the spring kit for mine! Did you leave the factory trigger in? I actually don’t mine the stock trigger but I’m considering ordering the Sigurd trigger they sell, but it’s currently out of stock. Thanks ❤️🇺🇸
Bought this gun about a year ago. Had similar issues with Aguila ammo. Sent it to Ruger, and they replaced the spring, and tested it. Sent it back to me, and I haven't had any issues since. Ruger's customer service was great.
I recently purchased the "Lite Rack" 22 LCP II for my wife to carry in her purse. We are both older and racking the slide of a 380 is out of the question for her so the 22 has to do the trick. She is able to rack the slide with no issues. I like the way it locks back after the final round. I did an extensive test of different ammunition for her to shoot. I have put at least 1,000 rounds through it and came to the conclusion the Federal 40 gr Champion RLN works every time. I bought 2 other factory magazines from Ruger and while trying the assorted ammo in my "test", different ammo will work with one magazine but not another. The pistol was cleaned and oiled after every trip to the range. Looking at the magazine with the human eye, there is no difference, strange as it is, the 40 gr Champion round would always work. I also purchased a "threaded barrel" from Ruger to use my SilencerCo Sparrow silencer on the pistol. The point of impact is always low and to the right when shooting with the silencer. That is no big deal, it was just for fun. My ammo test included a box of Winchester 37 gr Silver Tip Segmented Hollow Point. I got so frustrated trying to get that round to work in all three magazines that I finally gave up and still have 25 in the box, probably 15 of the other attempted used 25 ended up on the floor at the range from not firing. Just my thoughts on the Lite Rack 22lr from Ruger.
It's really nice when a firearm eats everything you feed it, unfortunately, it doesn't always work that way. I suspect the 37gr was just a little too light to allow it to function reliably. Sounds like you did some pretty extensive testing with it and you found the formula that works. Thanks for watching!
I had terrible problems with light primer strikes with my LCP 22 when it was new. It was also very ammo fussy. Now that it's broke in, it seems to shoot everything without issue. Fun little gun!
Good to know. There were a couple strikes that looked a little light and some that looked okay. Hopefully it just needs a break in, I like when they eat anything. Thanks for the info and thanks for watching too!
I bought one of these about a month ago, it seemed to like those Federal punch rounds, also had success with the CCI ammo, I have since installed the red Viridian laser on it
Bought this at a gun show about 2 weeks ago, very disappointing. I'm using CCI ammo, and literally every other shot the gun is jamming. I've probably shot 150 rounds already and it's the same thing, I find this very frustrating. Ready to sell!!!
1) I would NEVER try to fire a light primer strike or rim fire round a second time. 2) I freakin love the whole range set up! It’s like a living room, with a bar, and the painting of the girl with the A$5!!! 😂👍🏽
I'm curious to know why you wouldn't try a dud round a second time? Lol, thanks! I need to change out that picture, i have a couple more of the same theme! Thanks for watching!

Nice review. I keep this next to my keys and always goes with me, even when I take my Glock. It did take a couple hundred rounds to break it in but has been flawless for several hundred rounds. Ruger knocked this one out of the park in my opinion. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the review. Good info! I got my LCP II 22 last week. So far the only issues I've had were with Winchester ammo. Other than that I'm at nearly 500 rounds and it runs like a clock.
Really glad to see you review this. You're the first I've seen do it in 22lr. I think I like what I see for 299. Ruger should forego the loader and add another mag in my opinion. Thanks for a quality review.
That would be a good move on their part if they did. The loading tool isn't needed for the .22 version, they load easy. I don't think deleting the tool would offset the price of an extra mag but it would probably help sell more of them. The 299 was a sale price, 409 was the MSRP, I think the average street price is about 330ish. Thanks for watching!
Mine also had lots of issues with Winchester SuperX 1280fps... The 1300fps I only shot one box of and it worked alright. I had great luck with the Winchester 1330fps but that is a very rare box that doesn't seem to exist now (this was years ago). But it likes Federal Bulk.
We bought our lcp ll almost a year ago and tested a dozen different brands of ammo (100 rds per) through it...we immediately discarded all Winchester, Aguila, and Federal for too many failures...the only ammo to pass 100 round test were cci 36gr mini-mags, blazers, and thunderbolts...because we had so many failures during testing we do not trust the gun and keep it for a range toy...the rare times we carry .22lr it is in a revolver... -i think the problem everybody seems to have with the winchester stems from the funny shaped nose of the bullet, if it was rounded perhaps it would feed better...?
Thunderbolts have always been my "go-to" ammo for reliability. Sadly the 550 round boxes are hard to find and when you do, they're way overpriced. Thanks for watching!
Had the same problems with mine. Installed a spring kit from galloway precision in mine and it performs flawlessly now. Their spring kit puts 10% more pressure on the hammer, and the ejector. 10%less on the firing pin return spring and I believe the slide spring if i recall correctly. What ever scorcery they did with it, it worked wonders in mine. I believe ruger was trying to do alot in as small of machine as possible and in pushing everything to its tiny limits just didnt work with some ammo. The 10% changes in the springs made a world of difference. Only ammo mine doesnt like now it the cci stingers. Has run everything else ive fed it flawlessly. Remington golden bullet, thunder bolts, cci standard, and even the semi auto quiet… for science, aguila super maximum both 40 gr round nose and 38 gr hollow point, the winchester bulk he had problems with and federal punch
@MrGriff305 mine is the lite rack. I don't think I actually have any mini-mags left. The only thing I've ran through it, is what's in the video. The only problems that I've encountered are also in the video. I'd love to get it out again and do some more shooting but one day for filming just isn't enough. Thanks for watching!
@MrGriff305 we ran the 40gr mini-mags at 98-99%...the 36gr mini-mags ran at 99-100%...last week I ran an old box of federal champion at 100%, which surprised me...I will note that with one exception, most of the problems seem to begin 60-70 rounds into the count, as the gun becomes dirtier, applied to all brands of ammo...everyone says to change to the Galloway springs, but that will have to wait until the factory springs wear out...oh, well...
Excellent video! My LCR is excellent and the only problem I've had was with Winchester ammo. All failures to fire. When I pulled the bullets, I found little or no priming compound in the cases. Its especially concerning that the PREMIUM, high dollar Winchester Silvertip round that someone may depend upon for defense, has the same lame-ass quality control as their junk bulk ammo. Use CCI. Even their low end stuff goes bang every time in my experience.
Thank you! Sad to hear about the Silvertips. I agree, if they advertise it as self defense ammo, they should pay close attention during the QA/QC process. It is a fun little gun. Thanks for watching!
The only ammo that gave some issues (2 out of 500+ rounds) was the Blazer (CCI) bulk stuff, but the rounds looked like they were successfully struck so I didn’t blame the gun either. The only other thing I’ve ever shot in it is Federal Punch and I haven’t had issues with that.
mine has run flawless right out of box... have approx 2k round through mine. you can use spent casing rim as tool to pull pin... tk custom makes mag bumpers to get 14+1 capacity and there is a company that will thread the barrel too!!
Reading through all the comments, there are people that have had many mixed results. Some say it depends on the brand of ammo they used and some say it needed a "break in" period. It's hard to make a decision on one video, I may have to revisit this one in the future! Thanks for watching!
finally this is what I was looking for! I'm carrying this gun in the summer in shorts and I want to have at least some punch if needed for self defense. I keep buying high velocity ammo thinking it's the recoil from the round that is causing my next chambered round to fail, looks like it's the brand of ammo. I'm sure this ammo would run through a rifle just fine. If someone makes a handgun chambered for .22lr ammo, it better fire .22lr ammo all damn day!!!
I've seen guns that seem to "like" one brand better than another. You should always try different brands with a new gun, at least with rimfires anyway. Centerfire guns are much more reliable by design but, they can be picky eaters too. Thanks for watching!
There are differences between manufacturers and sometimes you'll get a gun that seems to only like a certain one. I also like the little pistol, good shooter. Thanks for watching!
Really wish Ruger would include 2 magazines with every firearm they sell. You also might be able to start the takedown pin with your nail and then wedge the rim of a 22 case underneath it. Obviously easier just to use a screwdriver, but I guess if you're in a pinch that might work.
Mine runs good. Put the Hogue grip on it. Made it a fun plinker. I did send a different gun (LCR 22mag) back to Ruger that I purchased used. They decided the gun couldn't be fixed and sent me a brand new gun. That's pretty awesome customer service. Winchester 22lr ammo sucks.
Excellent review. I had very similar experiences with my former LCP ll 22lr. Sent it to Ruger repair twice for misfeeds, light primer strikes and poor accuracy including keyholing. They replaced the barrel and slide which fixed everything except for the light primer strikes. Any Olin ammo-Winchester/Browning, had the most light primer strikes. CCI, Aguila and Federal ammo between 1200 and 1300 FPS worked best. I think the Lite Rack easy slide operation may be too easy. I kept all of the light primer stuck ammo and they all fired from a different 22lr.
There were a couple rounds that appeared to have light strikes and a couple that looked okay. I believe that may be the biggest issue with this little pistol though. I may have to do more testing/tinkering! Thanks for watching!
It's funny how each pistol or rifle can be unique itself ammo wise. I have the Ruger LCP II .22LR and even though I have not put a ton of ammo through it yet I've only tried high velocity ammo so far shooting it with no problems. Recently watched .22 Plinkster do a review on this pistol and he said Ruger recommends high velocity ammo in this gun, but Plinkster was using the CCI standard 1070 in his Ruger LCP II .22lr with no problems. Ha watched another guys video on Ruger LCPII .22lr and he was running all brands of ammo, but said it was hanging up on CCI standard 1070,go figure.
Just started running aguila in mine for plinking. I to have grown to like their ammo. If you want it to be less picky over ammo i highly recommend installing a spring kit from galloway precision. It made mine super reliable with everything except cci stingers. It still didnt like those but that is it.
Fun and accurate too, when it doesn't have issues. I'm going to try a good, deep clean and lube as well as try some different ammo. Thanks for watching!
The Winchester and Federal gave me problems FTF and FTE. CCI Blazer CCI Mini-Mag and Remington Thunderbolt (bulk) ran perfectly for me. Aproximately 1000 rounds each of CCI and Remington without a single failure. Can't get through a single magazine of Winchester or Federal without at least 2 failures. I told my wife to stick with the CCI for carry and Remington for practice. (although the FTE & FTF makes for good practice)
Had one for about a year but could not get consistently reliable performance with any ammo. Winchester was worst and Federal HV Match was best but still not good enough to depend on it. Traded it off to help fund a 351pd.
Love the Bobcat. More of a 3032 fan... but that mag release is a problem for a lot of people. I don't think it's much of a problem myself though. Think it's one of the best pocket guns ever invented.
Both times I went to the store to buy one, the mag release ruined it for me. I'm not saying it's a bad gun at all, I just couldn't make myself get it. I might some day, just not today. I do agree, the Tomcat is a sleeker looking pistol. Thanks for watching!
I have had the Ruger LCP II since it was first introduced and picked up the LCP Max a month or so ago. Both are in 380. I spend a lot at the gun range so when I found the option to fire 22 LR from an LCP I jumped at it. I just picked up a new LCP II in 22LR. Can't wait to shoot it. Other uses have merit but for me, the huge cost savings were the primary factor.
I went the reverse order you did. Got the 22 first then the 380 by somewhat happy mistake, it was supposed to be another 22. Tho the 380 has been nothing but reliable with no modifications out of the box, for some reason i shoot the 22 version exceptionally better than its 380 counterpart. So after some work to make the 22 extremely reliable, i now carry it, in the provided holster, everywhere im allowed to. It is always on me. I love it
My SR22 ids awesome because of the SA/DA when a round doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do on that first trigger pull. I do have one LCP II, and I like it too. As a carry gun, ammo quality is always a thing. I keep federal punch in mine.
I broke my LCP II .22 in today and was floored by the accuracy I got, even at 50 yards, had only 1 FTF to on the first Mag, Got some vids up and a few shorts, bought the LCP II as a trainer for my LCP max and a plinker, im definitely going to improve the front sight, probably do a fine tall shotgun bead in front of the front sight, this gun is plenty accurate enough for pest control and would make a good gun for survival small game hunting in a pinch.
Cool! 50yds is kind of tricky with a little short barrel like these. I used to take 100yd shots with different pistols, just to see if I could. Thanks for watching!
I just picked up one of these little pistols, plan to visit the range soon. I paid $329.99 local shop price and also got a 2 pack of magazines for $42.99. I'll be taking Aguila, CCI, & Federal ammo to the range.
I just did a light cleaning, mostly of the barrel to make sure there were no obstructions. Maybe I'll do a thorough clean and lube and try again. What ammo brands have you used successfully?
Sucks that Ruger puts this garbage out for us to prove fail and then return to ruger. I’m gonna ditch my Ruger POS and look at a Bersa. Yep a bersa. Gotta be better than this LCP 22 POS
I don't think "light strikes" are the issue... I had a lot of misfires, even with my Ruger 10/22 with Winchester and Browning (especially) and found an article showing how some manufacturers have (very) inconsistent rim thicknesses... i.e. I could use most or all of the misfires in one of my revolvers, and it went off... but it seems if they have less thickness (than "normal") then they don't fire in some (or most) of my semi-auto... After seeing this first hand by comparison with other brands (CCI/Federal/etc) I I traded off all the Browning and Winchester for other brands...
Mine is about 6 months old. Had a few failure to fires in the first 200 rounds that I would have to call as light strikes. Cleared up quickly. Still have the occasional failure to fire, but all I attribute to ammo. Not too picky, but definitely favors higher velocity ammo. I like the firearm, but would stay with my S&W 43C for reliability.
Issue with revolvers thar sometimes gunfight doesn't over with 8 shots of 22lr and reloading one is pita, while you can just in 2 sec reload a whole 10round magazine with lcp2 22lr. When it comes to reliability... clean it, lube it after every range, premium cci ammo + galloway spring kit. And if still will have a light primer strike and feed, train rack the slide fast. It is still faster than reload 8 rounds of revolver
I've been seeing a lot of complaints about Winchester .22 ammo lately. Odd, as it used to be the best. The only .22 ammo I ever had problems with was CCI and I think the Mini Mags in particular, and in only one pistol. Was a high-quality pistol too and all I could ever figure out was that the brass was too thick or hard or something. Or maybe the firing pin spring was just a little bit weak in this particular pistol, but it fired anything and everything else I put in it.
I think they all have bad batches from time to time. I really like Remington Thunderbolts for "bulk" ammo but some people hate it. Sometimes it can be a combination of ammo, weak springs, heavy slides and a gun that just needs cleaned and lubed that cause problems.
According to the failed rounds on the floor at my range, it`s not just your Ruger LCPll that doesn`t like the Winchester, it`s everything that doesn`t shoot it.
Well done great review. I personally like Ruger products I have quite a few This pistol I might leave home and bring a revolver. Or something more reliable.
You don’t need to pull the trigger to take apart this gun, and the front rim of the magazine, under the nose of the top round, works to pop out the pin.
No, I know, the problem I had was that I didn't remove the magazine. I did question myself in the video, then discovered what I did wrong. Yes you would need some sort of tool to disassemble, I'm not sure I would use the thin metal of the magazine, especially when new. Any way you look at it, you'll probably need something other than your bare hands for disassembly. There will also be a pin that could be lost if disassembly was done in the field. The Ruger SR22 has a great takedown procedure with no risk of losing a pin. You may never have to actually field strip one actually "In the field" but there is always a possibility. I'm in no way trying to degrade the gun by pointing out the takedown procedure, I just prefer firearms with a simple "no tools" disassembly. Thank you for watching!
I like the TX22, the Keltec P17 and I don't think I ever had a single issue with my Ruger SR22. The SR22 eats thunderbolts like a fat kid eats cake! (or me with Milky Ways) Thanks for watching!
Never had any issues of light primer strikes, in all brands, even cheap bulk, in either the TX-22, or my "elcheapo" Phoenix hp22! It's clearly the pistol! Send it back to Ruger!
Ditto on the tx 22. Mine has been a heck of a machine, just doesn’t fit in my pocket as well as my lcp2. Had alot of the issues in this video with mine initially. Installed a spring kit from galloway precision and it shoots everything flawlessly with the exception of stingers.
If you have problems shooting your favorite ammo out of it, the spring kit from galloway precision can help tremendously. Mine was ammo finicky new out of the box. After installing their spring kit it shoots anything i can get my hands on except cci stingers.
Nice review and especially the testing of various brand ammo. Some reviews suggest changing the trigger to improve the action. What would you suggest? Thank you.
I think leaving it as the factory designed it is fine. Although if you really wanted to make it into a high performance pistol, that's up to you. There are other pistols that might be better suited for a high performance rig. It all depends on your end use. Thanks for watching!
The Taurus tx22 is the only reliable 22 it will eat any kind of ammo you put in it it's a shame they don't build it in a small gun I'm glad I watch this video I like little 22 pocket guns but I will not be adding the LCP 22 to my list
I have feeding and light strikes issues with mine as well, that is, with some types of ammo it's bad. I'm also not as accurate with it as my Beretta Bobcat. The Bobcat just gives me a much better purchase on the grip, a better fit, than my Ruger does. Currently I won't carry the Ruger, I just don't trust it, and my accuracy with it. Anyway, thank for the video.👍
I'm not sure if it was duds or light primer strikes. I usually save all the ones that don't go off and put them in a revolver to see if they go bang. I haven't done it yet so I couldn't say for sure. Thanks for watching!
I found mine to be light primer strikes mostly, some were the usual bulk ammo duds. But the higher quality ones all went bang when recycled through my 10-22. The spring kit from galloway precision fixed this problem in my lcp2 with every ammo except cci stingers. Highly recommend if you need the lcp2 to be dead nuts reliable for carry purposes.
Don't use screwdrivers, nails or anything metal to remove the take down pin on these. They will scratch and mar the finish. Use dental floss simply hooking around and underneath the head of the take down pin and pull up. Your pistol won't be all chewed up after some use like it will be using metal tools.
It's up to you what you choose to carry for personal protection, I'm only presenting my findings. I have had guns that have run flawlessly and others with the same guns have had nothing but problems. I have a gun with all kinds of issues and others say they've never had a problem with theirs. You should always do your own research, hopefully my videos will give help you with your decision. Thanks for watching!
I don't see how light primer strikes can be the ammo's fault, but mine also had a high failure with certain ammo - really shot my confidence in the gun. I'm going to see what Ruger says and try other ammo and see if the unfired rounds work in another gun. Meanwhile I'm real disappointed.
@@SmallCaliberArmsReview my pleasure! Thanks for the video. Mine struggled with Winchester too. It didn't want to shoot the red plastic box Super X stuff at all at first. But after several hundred rounds it has started to work with them a little better. No problems ever with Velocitor, SGB, Stinger, and Punch.
Sorry Jim, I have not. I have shot the .380 and I believe that they are the same mechanically, although I would imagine a lighter slide/recoil assembly. They're pretty plentiful in my neck of the woods too. I just may have to pick one up some day, not today though!

@@SmallCaliberArmsReview I believe your exactly right.my tx 22 didn't like the punch either.revolvers have shown good performance though with the punch.
If you havent written it off yet check out galloway precision. They offer a spring kit that fixed my light primer strike problem. Mine eats everything except cci stingers now.
Extra Magazine $29.00? My local gun shop has $49.00 on it. I see a lot of places sell the mags in pairs for some reason. I like mine, good shooter, dependable after just a little break in. The example I got also shoots just a wee bit high, but not bad, I can hit good with it. Fun little gun to shoot and you forget it's in your pocket.
As a gunsmith, my belief is that when they make them, so called, dry fire safe, they are shortening the firing pin, which is causing all these new light strikes. They need to Just ship a few snap caps with them and allow that firing pin to do it’s job right. This would save a lot of headaches. I hate people blaming the ammo when it’s usually not the cause. But today’s Winchesters are JUNK.
@@jeffwilson1217 The biggest problem is the .22lr is a direct blowback design, a .22mag would need to be a delayed blowback. The only successful .22mag semi auto pistol I know of, is the KelTec PMR30.
I heard it was because he wanted something more reliable than rimfire but still in a small cartridge, and .25acp was the smallest centerfire cartridge that could be made.

I've always had good luck with Remington Thunderbolts but I haven't used and of the new ones yet.
@@SmallCaliberArmsReview Golden Bullet & Federal American Eagle literally wouldn't cycle in my gun. Thunderbolt I had pretty good luck with as well.
I have a couple of the "Bucket-O-Bullets" Golden bullets but haven't tried any of those yet.
@@SmallCaliberArmsReview that's what my friend had and they didn't work for me
We bought our lcp ll almost a year ago and tested a dozen different brands of ammo (100 rds per) through it...we immediately discarded all Winchester, Aguila, and Federal for too many failures...the only ammo to pass 100 round test were cci 36gr mini-mags, blazers, and thunderbolts...because we had so many failures during testing we do not trust the gun and keep it for a range toy...the rare times we carry .22lr it is in a revolver...
@MrGriff305 oops, sorry. Dirty? Yes. Unreliable? I haven't had very many bad rounds of Thunderbolts.
What kind of CCI ammo do you like for the LCR revolver?
The only ammo that gave some issues (2 out of 500+ rounds) was the Blazer (CCI) bulk stuff, but the rounds looked like they were successfully struck so I didn’t blame the gun either. The only other thing I’ve ever shot in it is Federal Punch and I haven’t had issues with that.
Oooooo!!! I like this gun. Thanks, Ricardo.
No problemo Hombre!
mine has run flawless right out of box... have approx 2k round through mine. you can use spent casing rim as tool to pull pin... tk custom makes mag bumpers to get 14+1 capacity and there is a company that will thread the barrel too!!
Reading through all the comments, there are people that have had many mixed results. Some say it depends on the brand of ammo they used and some say it needed a "break in" period. It's hard to make a decision on one video, I may have to revisit this one in the future! Thanks for watching!
Threaded barrels everywhere now
finally this is what I was looking for!
Thanks for watching!
try Velocitors
That was a good video the LCP 2 is a good gun . I have had problems with the Winchester ammunition It's not want it used to be.

Yep. You're having the same sort of issues I did; but mine never got over it and settled down.
Well that bites, maybe mine could have the same fate as yours!
Every pistol should include two magazines! I imagine the pin will get easier with time. Thanks for watching!
Know 2 wimmen who got these and after a coupla boxes of cartridges for a break-in and a bit of strategic lube (oil), they both work fine and reliably.

Well that bites, I like .22mag. Yes, I've had the worst luck with Winchester ammo. Thanks for watching!

I started to get light primer strikes and Ruger sent me a new slide assembly. Great customer service and so far so good. Very fun to shoot.
I haven’t had great luck with Winchester Amo, nice 22
Many of my viewers have said that about Winchester. I'm a fan of Remington Thunderbolts and their Golden Bullets too.
I like Remington myself. Thanks for watching!
Had one for about a year but could not get consistently reliable performance with any ammo. Winchester was worst and Federal HV Match was best but still not good enough to depend on it. Traded it off to help fund a 351pd.
I'm not a fan of picky eaters or ones that need 10,000 rounds to break in. Thanks for watching!

I agree, 22 is fun and cheap-ish. Have fun, be safe and thanks for watching!
I love it
I would imagine the lesser recoil of the .22lr is why.@@frederickjeremy

My SR22 ids awesome because of the SA/DA when a round doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do on that first trigger pull. I do have one LCP II, and I like it too. As a carry gun, ammo quality is always a thing. I keep federal punch in mine.
The SR22 is one of my favorites, even if it doesn't agree with my fat hands. I have not tried Punch in mine. Thanks for watching!
I broke my LCP II .22 in today and was floored by the accuracy I got, even at 50 yards, had only 1 FTF to on the first Mag,
Got some vids up and a few shorts, bought the LCP II as a trainer for my LCP max and a plinker, im definitely going to improve the front sight, probably do a fine tall shotgun bead in front of the front sight, this gun is plenty accurate enough for pest control and would make a good gun for survival small game hunting in a pinch.

Great show. I have great success with CCI mini-mags copper plated 1235 fps.
Thanks! CCI makes some pretty good ammo.
Many people have had issues with Winchester ammo, that could have been my issue as well. Thanks for watching!

Centerfires are much more reliable than any rimfire. I like the little LCP, it's a fun little pistol. Thanks for watching!
Nice little gun, mine doesn't like the Winchester ammo either.
Must be something about Winchester. Thanks for watching!
I have been looking forward to your review, thank you sir.
Hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching!
That is interesting. CCI MM 40 grain are just flawless in my experiences.
According to the failed rounds on the floor at my range, it`s not just your Ruger LCPll that doesn`t like the Winchester, it`s everything that doesn`t shoot it.
That seems to be pretty common with Winchester rimfire ammo. Thanks for watching!

I like it when they eat everything you feed them. Thanks for watching!
Mine runs good with aguilla and stingers and mini mags. Gotta clean it when it starts jamming after about a hundred rounds.

I don't see how light primer strikes can be the ammo's fault, but mine also had a high failure with certain ammo - really shot my confidence in the gun. I'm going to see what Ruger says and try other ammo and see if the unfired rounds work in another gun. Meanwhile I'm real disappointed.
I say light primer strikes but it could really be that the shell thickness is inconsistent. Thanks for watching!
It could use a better spring but one ammo worked flawlessly so the fault is given to both I guess.

That seems to be a popular consensus. I've bought a bunch of it in the past but I'll be avoiding it in the future. Thanks for watching!
John Moses browning had a terrible time getting a 22 to work in a small pistol. That’s why he invented the 25 ACP.
I heard it was because he wanted something more reliable than rimfire but still in a small cartridge, and .25acp was the smallest centerfire cartridge that could be made.
Which federals specifically did you find to do so well?
Just standard velocity in a 50rnd blue carboard box.
If you can’t trust a guy in full denim who can you trust? I’ve been looking at these. For carry when out riding my bicycle.
Lol! Men in denim built this country, men in suits are destroying it! Thanks for watching!
