Can you give it another try? After getting abandoned by their publisher (they stopped publishing games) they made it a 3-player coop/solo rpg with it's echoes update. I think they deserve some help after trying to save the game all by themselves.

Any word on fixed for PS4 version of the game. I have been sitting on it for a month and still can't play because of the bad frame rate and constant crashes

Fun Fact: WoW''s visual style was inspired by then comic book artist Joe Madureira who is the co-founder of Airship Syndicate (dev of Wayfinder) and the Creative Director for this game.
He's the reason why I'm an artist I loved his X-Men and battle chasers
That explains why I love the aesthetic so much.
This game definitely has a ton of potential. If they support this and evolve it for a long time, it can be great.
I got to try this game at Tokyo Game Show 2023. I found it pretty fun. Still needs some touch up and polish but overall I was impressed.

It's a solid foundation with an art style that will age well but it needs more content and skill variety before it really takes off, but I have faith in the devs at airship to pull it off

Played Wayfinder on day 1. The launch was honestly a disaster even for early access. But once the main issues were ironed out, I almost immdetiately noticed how good foundation there is. Really hope Airship Syndicate manages to keep this game up and deliver good content, this could be "my" live service game.

Great summary mate! I have been playing since launch and the server issues at the start sucked huge dick but now thats been rectified the game has potential it, needs some content to keep the EA players entertained as ive crafted all characters and weapons etc while still having a blast with the combat etc itd be nice to have some new scenery to play in lol hopefully people give it a chance its hella fun
Respect the grind! Honestly it's going to be tough to keep up with content for players who have grinded everything from the get go and continue to do so ever release, but we are committed to adding big content releases each season (3months) with content drops within each season too. Even launch will be just the foundation imo, but given enough time, there is going to be a whole fricken world to get lost in. In my mind there's nothing wrong with multiple games all living and growing at the same time. Letting players rotate through all the various games and coming back to refreshing new content seems like a pretty sustainable ecosystem to me, but time shall tell! Thanks so much for the support and keep kicking ass!
that first boss is from darksiders 😀, airship syndicate signature but i wish if the animation looked like darksiders 2 the art style in that game was ahead of it's time and so unique, still my fav entry in the series.

The balls reminded me of the Hades boss fight in GOW3. Had to kill all the hands before they could return Hades' heart to give him health.
It’s got fun gameplay, but the MMO progression systems are bare and lacking. Also surprisingly more like warframe’s earlier days than I thought it would have been.its got potential, but I’ll wait on it to cook in the oven for a while
Been alot of quiet lately sadly. They are in a transition cuz the publishers left tho but they rly need to bring some big content and updates soon.
I mean the fact it's MMO so by default I can't experience everything solo is a 'no-go' for me.
It's a shame since I love Airship's games like Battle Chasers for example.
I was hoping Wayfinder is gonna be more of a loot based game that you can tackle solo or in coop but... Oh well. Good for MMO fans I guess.
It really reminded me of the old MMO Wildstar. I kept expecting you to break out and move on a hover board.
Definitely looks super promising, but if they don't change the mobile game looking Fortnite-like UI until the final release, I don't think I'll be able to get into it
I like how it has the gears reload system too it seems. U have a perfect reload does it do more damage as well?

The gears of war style perfect reload was such an innovation for third person shooter.
For this video being released a day ago that log in que footage is misleading because thats not how it is now and has been for what feels like a while since they fixed the login que times.

Sure it's a bit lacking in content, but the good part? DE will never rush the devs to make content, they know first how to churn out meaningful stuff, and that sometimes it takes time. So the game is in good hands and will only get better.
You are talking about a company that is known for rushing out meaningless massive changes to the point of having to roll them back, and otherwise creating massive bloat at worst making their game impenetrable to new players.
Stick with them. You will see soon that DE is one of the best game dev companies out there and their warframe team is the one of the most amazing groups of people.
DE is just the publisher, but Airship is a quality group of folks too

Such spots are pretty normal in such games

Looks cool in this video, I guess that's PC. On PS4 pro it is an absolute jank fest. Like an uneven 20 fps, spawning in on missing assets and falling in place over and over, stuff like that. Could end up really cool for sure, needs a ton more work on console.
I'm still not entirely sure what the game is though. Is it an MMO? A dungeon crawler? Hero shooter? Yes to all? Haha
Gameplay looks a little too slow for my liking, but maybe this will change when actually playing it.

It's not early access if it's got a seasons and a cash shop. Just cuz they call it early access doesn't mean it is. They just released it in Beta form.

I dont think they fixed the waitingline to get on the server. Its just that much fewer people playing it so there is always space for players go join in.

the game has some good ideas behind it but the technical execution is a trainwreck, I don't know if they can turn this around honestly
Just looks bad. Graphics look mediocre, combat looks mediocre, the UI is just bad, etc. It is early access so maybe they'll improve things for the final release, but I am skeptical. There have only been a handful of early access games that have done such a u-turn.

The setting looks like it was made for adults on a nostalgia trip. The characters look like they were made for elementary school children. It's a bit funny they are sponsoring people to get new people into their game while refusing to pay for server hosting that's needed to accomodate the old people that already have the game. Pass
