I had a scary ice cream truck incident when I was younger, so this gave me chills to hear. I was about 12 years old, spending time at my best friend’s house. Her sister was with us at home, she was 16, and her parents were gone for the night. We usually swam in her pool when I would come over, and since they lived on a corner lot, the pool had a side facing the other road. There were a few privacy hedges blocking, but I felt so exposed when we’d be in the pool. We lived close to each other and we both had ice cream trucks every now and then. We hadn’t seen them in a while though because it was probably fall or winter at this point. We live in Florida so we are in the pool year round pretty much. With that being said, it was 8pm and it was getting dark fast. Imagine my confusion when I hear the sound of “do your ears hang low” coming down that street the pool faced. We were totally paranoid little girls and immediately went “HIDE”, semi kidding around. We ducked our heads underwater but then flew up after a couple seconds. The truck did not pass. Rather, it was parked in the road right beyond the hedges. I couldn’t get a good view of the truck, but we could tell it definitely wasn’t stopped for any kids. There were just pepper trees in the lot across the street, no houses. The music was still on, it was super dark outside. I know we had been making noises and being loud before that, so someone would definitely be able to tell we were kids in the pool. I recall being able to swim up to the edge of the pool and peer to the left of the hedges as much as I could, only to see just a plain white van, the creepy kidnapper kind. No signs or menus. Just a creepy dude (from what I could tell at least) driving it. He wasn’t serving anyone. And was right outside the pool cage. A few seconds go by and he hasn’t moved. We RAN out of that pool and locked the sliding glass doors. Ran into her sisters room and begged her to go look. after convincing her, she was kind of a huge brat as are most 16 year olds, the truck was gone and we didn’t even hear the music anymore. Not even distantly. I really never wanted to swim at night again or go to an ice cream truck again. On a more uplifting note, I’m 26 now and went on the boat with my parents and an ice cream boat came to the island we were chilling on. I got a margarita popsicle!! Much less creepy lmao.
Mikey would be on my poop list for the rest of my life for doing that to me if I was that kid. Also a message to all parents, tell your kids to NEVER get into a vehicle with a stranger!
Shutup Megaman. This is what I counting on. Ladies if you reading this comment and you being followed keep going to your house so i'll know where you stay. I appreciate that. Best Regards CREEPY LARRY.
@@midnightprincessful what did I I just say when your scared your not thinking your frantic who the hell has time for that run to your house then call the cops police are not always such helpers as most folks think
Most people's first and only thought is to get somewhere safe. For most that is their house where they can lock the doors and then call police and possibly arm themselves. This is assuming they are followed while walking, if driving then that's different.
Story 1: Smart for going into the house Story 2: Scary and strange. Kids are in bed at 3 in the morning. There should be no ice cream trucks out at that time Story 3: Mikey did that on purpose Story 4: Scary Story 5: Scary
There are you feleciaWhipple. I enjoy your comments. It help me hone my skills on being CREEPY and I'm able to lurk around suspiciously with no one noticing. Appreciate the help. Keep those comments coming. Best Regards CREEPY LARRY.
Story 1 from the perspective of the ice cream truck driver: damn. Wonder where i am. Let me stop on the side to check my GPS. Oh looks like i have to pull a u- turn. Hope these folks dont mind if i use their driveway.
'I'd never seen an ice cream truck on our street, that's how out in the country we are.' Trust me, it doesn't have to be out in the country for that to happen. I grew up in the suburbs, on a short street right off a main thoroughfare.......maybe I saw an ice cream truck ONCE.
Guy in the last story is a genius. Instead of calling the cops immediately to make sure nobody else falls victim to the trap, he goes to sleep and calls 10 hours later. Big brain move.
This year the ice cream man's been slacking pretty hard in my area. He's only come through one time, and it was like 55 degrees and raining. Never came by when it was like 80+ degrees and sweltering humidity... to be fair though the guy's been doing it for probably 30 years and he's an old man now. Also services several towns, so maybe hes prioritizing higher volume areas. It's always a kick though when a bunch of late 30s dudes with beers in hand flag him down for some treats, I'm not ashamed. That Mikey kid in the third story's a dick. I definitely would have cut ties after doing that. I really wanted to make some kind of a Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal reference for one of these stories, but it didn't really fit with any of them.
Back in 2002 we had an ice cream truck park at our street who is a friend of our neighbors and we spend the night having beers etc. there was one night we had an ice cream truck parked in the same area didn’t look like the local drivers ice cream truck when we were kids fooling around pretending to sell ice cream on the outside of it some young person who looked to be in their 20s Came out of the corner with a bat looking like he was gonna whack all of us in the skull. It wasn’t until my mom came outside and shouted to come inside and as soon as my mom questioned the guy with the bat, he ran away and was never to be seen again.
@Stevesguitarchannel840 I can't listen to things I'm reading, for one. Secondly, it's hard to comprehend someone who writes in run-on sentences like a 7 yr old. Thirdly, it was a story about an ice cream truck baseball bat murderer that you obviously made up. In short, yes. I "listened"
@@chrislevack405 OK great we are in a world where nobody gives a fuck about grammar anymore. Like the story I talked about was so great. You didn’t listen to anything that I was writing.
@Stevesguitarchannel840 your story wasn't great... it was made up and was really hard to follow cuz you ignored punctuation. When you have a good story, other people let you know... you don't just get to reinforce that your story is good cuz it's yours. Good luck, have fun.
The child in story number one was very lucky! Sounds like a predator on the prowl who was in the countryside deliberately (fewer witnesses, lack of helicopter parents). Scary.
Once I was in a really strict diet and an ice cream truck started following me down the street…the driver started licking an ice cream and screaming: “ hummmm it is SO DELICIOUS hummmmm” I started screaming back at him: “ leave me alone!” Was terrifying😒😒😒

I never allowed my kids and grandkids to go up to an ice cream truck without an adult family member. Many of those truck drivers look really sketchy.

We have two different ice cream trucks come by. One of them is a bit creepy.
Always look forward to listening to these at work!!
❤❤❤ ice cream trucks in summer?? Perfect
We had an ice cream truck come to our neighborhood, but not creepy ones like these.
Mickey is a terrible friend
Mickey?
We’ve all had an ice cream truck horror story the worst one of all is when your about to get it and it drives away just as you approach
Night Time Spooks is one of my favorite horror narrators!
Keep up the good work mate love the stories ❤

Never drive HOME if you are being followed! For Pete's sake! Think!☕
I've never been happier to be early
I’m your ice cream man, stop me when I’m passing by 😜

Thanks for the stories 😊
I love cookies n cream ice cream 🍨🍦
Story 2 - when the ice cream truck returned to OP's street next night, he should have called the police early while the truck was still there!
Don't wander off if you don't know where you are going. Getting lost is easy.

"I didn't talk to Mikey for weeks after he did that. I think putting my foot in his ass hastened the end of our aquaitence." Much better ending.
Sooo…Story with dog park. Did the OP not tell her parents after creepy guy followed her home? Maybe she got away, but what about the next child?
Who remembers the deleted one from like a year ago

Listening to this while playing Minecraft is top tier
