SHOW SOME GRATITUDE TO YOUR HELPER, STOP THE INHERITANCE MENTALITYKANAYO O. KANAYO | Veteran Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Kanayo O Kanayo, has expressed displeasure with what he perceives as a lack of gratitude from people who receive financial favours.
In a video he shared on Instagram on Monday, Kanayo criticised the response of “seen” after receiving money as a sign of ungratefulness.
He said, “I have one question. Why are people very ungrateful?
“You do somebody a favour by sending him or her money, and the person receives it and sends you a text with ‘seen.”
“Seen? Come on! You think it’s your right? That’s an inheritance mentality; people are like this, and it doesn’t show that you are grateful,” he added.
Kanayo urged people to express gratitude, saying that it encourages the giver to do more.

Indeed, the inheritance mentality is quite tiring and weakening to the helper. As for the person who is being helped, it shows clearly that that soon, you might just be left hanging
